The song dubbed Hodi has been getting a lot of airplay since it was released a few ago and to be utterly honest, we’re also feeling it.

Nacha

I have listened to this jam a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, I feel like I am hearing it for the very first time and that is exactly how a great jam should make you feel.

Nacha’s flow is really on point. To add to that, this chap is also a good storyteller which means narration flows and as you listen to him you get more and more invested in what he is saying.

There is also the fact that he has great punchlines that make you scratch your head as you try to make sense of what he is saying.

Nacha

One of the many things that I like about Nacha is that he’s also a great singer. Although his voice is kind of hoarse, I still find it awesome. The hook on this jam is on point.

The beat and instrumentation on Hodi are also impeccable. I also loved the concept for the video, though it’s not out of the ordinary, it was brilliantly executed since it tells the story on its own.

The song dubbed My God has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few hours ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Nacha

My God is a prayer to the Lord by the singer asking him to pardon his sins and help him establish a good relationship with him.

He goes on to say that there is nothing that God can not do and he’s hopeful that he will help him get a job so that his enemies can stop making fun of him.

The song is in the form of spoken word and I must say that I really love it. I’ve listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, I kind of feel like I’m hearing it for the very first time.

Nacha

Other than the powerful message that it carries, I am sure that after listening to it, you will agree with me that it is so infectious, especially if you love spoken word poetry.

Nacha has a dope flow and you just want to keep listening to him as he does his thing. The rhyme scheme on My God is on point and the other thing that I love bout this piece is that it’s emotive.

The instrumentation is subtle and this allows you to listen to Nacha keenly as he delivers his piece. The video is also on point since it aligns with the themes of the song which are misery and hope.

Watch My God below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!
