OPW viewers were treated to a shock when they tuned in only to find out that Nomsa Buthelezi was notgoing to be part of the show anymore.
Viewers were introduced to Vele Manenje, an actress on Ring of Lies.
She was one of the contenders during last year’s OPW Presenter Search. She did not get to the finish line as she had to go back to acting.
During an interview with Isolezwe, Nomsa asked people to give Vele a chance as she was worth it.
“I told her that people were going to criticise her and compare her to me, I also told her that people were going to comment about her weight and make many negative remarks but what is important is that she realizes that there was a reason why she was chosen. People need to give her a chance and support her in this new role the same way they’ve supported me,” she told the publication.
