SA Actress Phumzile Sitole lands a role on Orange is the new black

Phumzile Sitole  been added as the latest cast member for the Netflix female prison drama ‘Orange Is The New Black’.

Sitole is set to play the role of Antoinetta ‘Akers’ Kerson and will appear in nine episodes. The next season of the show premieres on Netflix on July 27th.

Actress Phumzile Sitole earns spot in ‘Orange Is The New Black’

Phumzile Sitole has earned herself a spot in hit series, Orange Is The New Black.

She will play the role of Antoinetta ‘Akers’ Kerson and will appear in nine episodes premiering on July 27.

Fellow actresses Nomzamo Mbatha and Kgomotso Christopher took to social media to celebrate and congratulate Phumzile.

“Sis Kgomotso‚ there from the start for me and my journey. Thank you for the love and support. We follow your lead‚” Sitole to Christopher replied on Twitter.
