In a recent interview, Kenyan artist Trio Mio opened up about his body art, revealing the cost and inspiration behind his tattoos.
Tattoos as a Personal Expression
Mio disclosed that his tattoos cost approximately 80,000 Kenyan shillings, including a map-inspired design on his right arm. This particular tattoo, he explained, stemmed from his love for geography and map work in high school. He wanted a permanent reminder of his passion for the subject. Another tattoo reads “Trust None,” which Mio admitted getting due to peer pressure from colleagues. When asked about the significant investment in his tattoos, Mio emphasized the importance of self-love. He believes that self-appreciation is essential before extending love to others.

He also acknowledged that he would have gotten tattoos sooner if he had the financial means in high school.
The Tattoo Experience
Describing the tattooing process, Mio emphasized its addictive nature. He revealed plans for future tattoos, while also cautioning potential recipients about the potential pain involved.
He shared his experience in Swahili, stating:
“This thing is addictive, like a drug. It’s also painful. Once you get one tattoo, you want to get more to feel complete.”
He further highlighted the discomfort associated with getting tattoos, mentioning the inevitable soreness and aftercare considerations.
Inspiration and Care Routine
Mio attributed his initial foray into tattoos to his brother, who had gotten one and inspired him to follow suit.
He also briefly mentioned his past tattoo aftercare routine, which involved using creams initially. However, he admitted to no longer following a strict regimen since the tattoos have healed.
Teenage rapper Trio Mio, known for his hit “Cheza Kama Wewe,” recently spoke about his music career and how it has impacted his life. With honesty and humility, he shared his achievements and his commitment to family.
Celebrating Success
Trio Mio acknowledged the financial rewards of his hard work, mentioning he can provide for his family and is building a house for his mother. He highlighted his financial independence while avoiding excessive bragging.
“My net worth is not bad, I am talking millions. Where I am today, at least my family and I do not lack food, my mum can rock whatever outfit she wants. I am also driving my car. I can’t tell you I am there yet ati I am a millionaire but we are comfortable.”
The rapper emphasized his gratitude for God’s blessings and prioritizes his family’s well-being. He plans to move out only after completing his mother’s house, showcasing his respect and responsibility.
“At the moment I am still living with my mother but I am constructing a house for her. I will leave home after I have completed building the house. I do not have to post everything I am doing for my mother for you to know what I am doing behind the scenes.”
The celebrated singer is currently a big deal in the Kenyan music industry; and his success is imminent
Young rapper Trio Mio has forcefully responded to critics who have questioned his musical relevance, asserting that his star is far from fading.
On a recent Instagram post, Trio Mio faced comments from netizens suggesting that his music was no longer captivating audiences. One particular comment, from a user named G.e.o.o.o, caught Trio’s attention: “This guy’s music is slowly coming down and I hate it. I really thought he would be so great.”
Trio Mio swiftly dismissed these claims, emphasizing that his musical journey is far from over. He pointed to his recent accomplishments as proof that his career remains vibrant and thriving.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Trio Mio declared. “I’m just getting started.”
He reminded his critics of his recent successes, including topping charts and garnering a massive fan following. “Have you checked the charts lately? My music is still slapping,” he asserted.
Trio Mio’s response highlights the resilience and determination of young artists in the face of criticism. His refusal to be swayed by negative comments demonstrates his unwavering belief in his talent and his commitment to his craft.
As Trio Mio continues to push boundaries and explore new musical horizons, it remains to be seen whether he will maintain his current trajectory or face further challenges. However, his unwavering self-belief and determination suggest that he is ready to face any obstacles that may come his way.
Kenyan singer Nasha Travis has revealed that she is open to the possibility of dating rapper Trio Mio if the chance presents itself.
In an interview with Nicholas Kioko on October 1, the singer who is also a car seller in Kiambu, discussed her thoughts on Trio Mio and the qualities she admires about him.
“I think he’s a very talented artist,” she said. “He’s also very humble and respectful. I like that about him.”
Nasha also revealed that Trio Mio was the first person to reach out to her on social media to express his interest in collaborating.
“It was two years ago when I released ‘Akitokea’,” she said. “Trio Mio hit my DM and said he liked my song and would like to work with me.”
Nasha’s openness to dating Trio Mio is sure to excite fans of both artists. However, it is important to note that this is just speculation at this point. Only time will tell if the two will eventually become romantically involved.
They say real life often imitates art and Trio Mio has found that out for himself. After releasing the song Buda Buda which was a collaboration with Scar Mkadinali in which they glorify crime and theft only to find himself on the wrong end of the gun and he had to evacuate his pockets and give everything to the robbers.
The singer made the right choice though. In times such as those it doesn’t make sense for him to try and be a hero. There are no heroes in the grave after 10 year. Who here remembers K-Rupt?
He was an example that Trio Mio certainly remembers because he started a fight with carjacker who tried to take his chain and he wasn’t having it. No one was going to punk him so they just shot him. And that was that.

They make a cute couple but I have to wonder about the wisdom of a young man dating while still trying to build himself up. His focus should be on his craft and establishing a career for himself. But Trio Mio has his heart leading him and time will tell just how bad such a decision will prove to be.
