Tumi Voster to host empowerment brunch

On 19th of August, media personality Tumi Voster will be launching her GRL PWR series at an empowerment brunch.

The platform is meant to empower and inspire young women in different spheres of their lives. This is through necessary dialogues shared by women for women. So as to bring about change and help build their own success stories.

Speakers who are expected to grace the event include actress Terry Pheto and Sony Music Africa Marketing Director Aisha Mohamed. The theme for the day is  “Building your own success story.”

“Success is a big word and sometimes a daunting journey for some. You just want to know that you’re on the right track. I believe we are all a work in progress, and sometimes trying to figure it all out by yourselves can be challenging. I have created the GRL PWR Series to assist us young women to share knowledge through open and honest dialogues that will shape minds, help each woman find their purpose and propel their dreams and vision,” Tumi said in the statement.

Tumi Voster awarded the Youth Excellence Award

umi Voster was recognised as a trailblazer in Arts and Culture on Saturday when she was honoured with a Gauteng Province Premier Youth Excellence and Service Award.

The awards aim to celebrate the positive role of young people within the province and their contribution to the region’s growth and development.

Thank you to the Gauteng government for celebrating the youth of Gauteng and its excellent young people,” Tumi was quoted as saying.

“However, most importantly, thanks you for recognising my talent, uniqueness and voice! May we as young people continue to do more to inspire others to remain inspired and driven.”
