Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has in a recent interview with Inside Nollywood, recounted on some of the low points of her life.

According to her, ten years ago, she was a naive young girl that was easily misunderstood. She was despereate for love, she said. She however, revealed that her desperation got her used and dumped.

She therefore advises young ladies to always trust their instincts and listen to their inner voice. The universe will cooperate with you, she said.

Uche Ogbodo’s words below;

About 10 years ago, I was that innocent young woman who was misunderstood by everyone. I was desperate for love but was used, played, broken and shattered at some point. But today I stand tall. I know who I am and what I want. I have found self-love and fulfillment and I am no longer desperate for nothing. I give love as much as I have. I’ve finally found myself.

To the young ones out there, you have permission to walk away from anything that doesn’t feel right. Trust your instincts and listen to your inner voice. It’s trying to protect you. Create in your mind a vision of what you want and never take your eyes away from it, then the universe will cooperate with you.

Recall that the actress’ marriage crashed shortly after the birth of her daughter, Mildred.

Nollywood actress, Uche Obgodo, does not have time for internet trolls and she has made that obvious to an irate fan.

The actress who has taken to working out to keep fit, was lashed at by a follower. Certainly not a fan of fitness, the follower advised that the actress goes back to her former self.

Uche Ogbodo shuts irate follower up.

Stating that she is not a baby, the actress told the follower to stop what she described as rubbish.

Uche Ogbodo marks her birthday in style.

Today, one of Nollywood’s beauties, Uche Ogbodo, clocks 32 years of her sojourn on earth. To mark this day, the sexy mother of one took to Instagram to share some very lovely pictures of herself.

She wrote;

The man has apologized to treating Uche Ogbodo wrongly.

Few days beck, Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo cried out after she said she was assaulted by a military man. According to her, the man bashed her car and went ahead to stab her with his car keys. Read here.

Days later, the actress in an IG post has announced that she i dropping all charges against the assaulter. According to her,the man had apologized, claiming not to know who she was. Though Uche finds this annoying because she feels that women shouldn’t be assaulted at all regardless of their status, she has decided to drop charges against him.

She however thanked all those who supported her during the period.

In all honesty I don’t know where to start to thank Everyone who has supported me one way or the other on my Assault journey, through their prayers, showers of Love, Contacts etc .. Eventually The Military Man has Been Brought to Book, and he Apologized for his ill treatment of me., Claiming he didn’t know who I am ?, which was so annoying ‘Cos he shouldn’t assault any woman Celebrity or Non Celebrity as I pointed out to him. He begged me Not to expose him to the press , as his Career in the military is at Stake, and he is a father to 4 Children. He also Agreed to pay for Damages that he cost me, My Car and My Hospital Bills. And I decided to Forgive him and Let him go. Because I wouldn’t want to be the cause of anybody falling into the lagoon out of frustration. So Let God pay him back accordingly. So I have Dropped all Charges Of Assault Against Him And I won’t be going to Court. Thank You Everyone For All your Love. I appreciate You All and I Love You All equally . God Bless You . She was stabbed by the man.

Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, yesterday, took to Instagram to narrate how she was physically assaulted by a man.

According to her narrative, the man hit her car and stabbed her with his key. She noted that she was lucky to have gotten out in one piece.

Her Story;

I Am still in Tears ??? and Don’t know how to Start Telling The Story of how I was assaulted yesterday Evening at about 5:30pm .. After I left the Disabled home where I went to Share Love and Hope, I drove straight from Ikotun which is almost 3 or 4 hours to the island where I Stay, on getting to the Lekki Toll gate (by oriental hotel) tired and exhausted, the next thing I noticed A Car has impacted with my Car., out of shock I didn’t know what to do, I sat down for almost 30 seconds thinking of how this driver could drive like that.

Before I could come out of my car the driver was already out, shouting saying I bashed his car , I was confused and surprised as well that a man that ran into Me could be shouting at me, trying to intimidate me and making me feel everything was my fault. I went round to the accident side to check the damage the impact made on my car, I saw my light was off and was on the floor and my bumper was pulled off., I looked at his, There was no evident damage to his car.

 I went mad with Rage, i said to him “Oga we have to wait here till the Police patrol comes to ascertain who was at fault” but the man said “ Get out of my way you Harlot”, he made to enter his car to flee the scene and I grabbed him, you bashed my car and you are calling me names and at the same time wanting to flee the scene. I held firmly to his shirt since that was the only thing I could do as a woman at that time, but the man entered his Car, started the ignition and driving with me holding on to his shirt, his back tire even Climbed my Feet, thank God I was wearing a Boot that protected me from Getting hurt. And as he was driving away he was winding up his glass squeezing my hands to the door panel, I managed to pull of my hands. 

And I went thru the back Window to stop him and he started winding up again, squeezing my hands I was forced to pull off my hands from the Window before he cuts it , in the process the back glass broke and I feel to the floor. Before I could get up, the guy stopped his car ,ran to my own car and Took My bag, My phones I ran after him to collect my bag, this man held my hands and stabbed me Multiple Times with his Keys ?.

Verse 2;

Eventually the police Came and the Man Changed the story and Said he was a military man too that I tried to assault him. Lied blatantly and tried to frame me! This case is now at the police station right now, and from the way the police people are sounding I’m not sure I’m gonna get justice for Assault meted on me. After laying my Complaints They held my Car and said I can’t drive home with my Car and some of them telling me I was lucky that the man is not violent enough, if not I would have been killed and nothing will happen. So I want to Ask Well meaning Nigerians . 

1, Why I’m hated So Much for being A Celebrity, are celebrities not humans too? Why nobody’s came forth to settle the hassle when it started out of 500 people that were at the toll gate at the point! They were busy screaming “ it’s that Actress, it’s that Actress, “???? they watched me being assaulted and only took pics and filmed me for Fun! Am I in the worst profession? My heart is broken , For Myself and My Young Baby who is equally In this Country Nigeria where there is no Hope and no Law to protect Women. 

Why am I even Here! This Country is full of Hate and Jealousy! Not A Favorable Place For Women , when it’s A Men Dominated Society where, when a Woman is Assaulted and killed , it’s becomes a Norm! ??? We must Speak Up For Justice! WE NEED A CHANGE!
