Tennis world champion Serena Williams got married in a fairy tale wedding a few weeks back.
The couple met back in 2015 in Paris where Serena had gone to play a tennis game. While Alexis knew nothing about tennis, he went to watch her play and their attraction grew.
The couple got engaged back in July when Serena was still pregnant with their daughter Alexis Olympian Ohanian Jr. Her Husband Alexis Ohanian is the Reddit co founder.
Well, on Thursday night in New Orleans, the couple made things official when they walked down the aisle at their Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding, and it was MAGNIFICENT.
According to Vogue, the couple danced their first dance to “Tale as Old As Time,” and other songs from the Disney classic played throughout the evening.
There were also nods to Serena’s amazing career — the tables were named after the 23 grand slam titles she’s won, while the party favors were personalized trophies.
Guests included Kelly Rowland, Ciara, and La La Anthony,Ms. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé and many others.
He gushed about her on his instagram;
“You are the greatest of all time, not just in sport–I’m talking about as a mother and as a wife.
I am so excited to write so many more chapters of our fairy tale together.
My whole life I didn’t even realize it, but I was waiting for this moment.
