Yvonne Khisa Celebrates 26th Birthday with a Stunning KSh 6 Million SUV

Kenyan content creator and actress Yvonne Khisa has kicked off her 26th year in grand style, unveiling a sleek new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado valued at approximately KSh 6 million. The milestone purchase, revealed on Monday, March 24, just a day before her birthday, has sparked widespread admiration and conversation across social media, cementing her status as one of Kenya’s fastest-rising stars.

A Birthday Gift to Herself

Khisa, best known for her comedic roots with Crazy Kennar’s crew before striking out on her own, shared the exciting moment with her fans via a video that quickly went viral. The clip showcased the black Land Cruiser Prado, adorned with festive red ribbons, parked amidst the lush greenery of a tea plantation. With a beaming smile, Khisa opened the driver’s door and took the wheel, driving off into what she predicts will be a “successful year.”
“I’m so excited about this purchase,” Khisa said in a statement accompanying the reveal. “Turning 26 feels like a fresh start, and this car is a symbol of the hard work and growth I’ve put in over the years.” The SUV, a favorite among Kenyan elites and politicians, represents both a personal triumph and a bold statement of her burgeoning success.

The Car: A Toyota Land Cruiser Prado

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Khisa acquired is a standout in the luxury SUV market, blending rugged capability with refined comfort. According to automotive insights from carimports.co.ke, the Prado comes in various trims, with the base TX offering practicality through fabric seats and steel wheels, while higher-end models like the TX-L boast alloy rims, automatic climate control, and upgraded interiors. The top-tier TZ-G, with its air suspension, promises ultimate comfort—a fitting choice for a star on the rise. Though Khisa hasn’t specified the exact trim, the vehicle’s sleek black finish and imposing presence suggest it’s a premium variant, likely powered by either a diesel or petrol engine ranging from four to eight cylinders.
The price tag—estimated at KSh 6 million—reflects not just the car’s features but also its status as a symbol of achievement in Kenya. For Khisa, who turned 26 on March 25, 2025, the purchase at such a young age has drawn praise as a testament to her hustle and determination.

From Comedy to Car Keys

Khisa’s journey to this moment has been anything but ordinary. She first captured Kenya’s attention through her work with Crazy Kennar’s comedy troupe, where her acting chops shone alongside talents like Cynthia Wanjiru and Bushra Sakshi. After parting ways with Kennar in 2023 amid creative differences, Khisa teamed up with Bushra for skits before fully launching her solo career. Her decision to go it alone paid off, with viral videos and brand partnerships propelling her into the spotlight.
The new Prado isn’t just a car—it’s a marker of Khisa’s evolution from a supporting act to a leading lady in Kenya’s content creation scene. “I’ve done videos alone and they’ve gone viral,” she once told Pulselive Kenya in 2023. “I believe I have the ability to do more, and I’ve worked with various brands and seen my potential.” That potential is now tangible, parked in her driveway for all to see.

“Men are afraid of us,” content creators Yvonne and Bushra say

Kenyan content creators Yvonne and Bushra have openly admitted that men are literally afraid of approaching them, and they really don’t understand why.

The duo, who attended Bien’s listening party, discussed their love lives, describing Kenyan men as unsure of what they really want. They also revealed the type of man they desire and why they are currently single.

“Wanaume wa Kenya wanakuja but wanaogopa…wanakimbia kimbia wakirudi hivi…” they revealed.

Bushra said she wants a man who is generous, caring, and God-fearing.

Despite their romantic challenges, they praised Bien for his new release, particularly their favourite song, ‘Kwama’.

“Bien is a good singer, and we expect the best from him; he always delivers.”

Yvonne and Bushra have been creating content together for a long time, despite splitting from their former colleagues Crazy Kennar, Stanley Omondi, and Usefulidioty.

In a previous interview with TV47, Bushra disclosed that they were initially abandoned, and she decided to start over on her own.

“We were together, all of us… But when you’re left in the desert, you have to go look for water.”

They also mentioned that the reason they stopped working together was due to their contracts being terminated.

Yvonne Khisa Denies Fallout With Crazy Kennar

Yvonne Khisa, former member of Crazy Kennar’s House of Comedy, has denied having any issues with the comedian.

In an interview with radio presenter Ankali Ray, Yvonne said that “all is well” between her and Kennar, and that the rumors of a fallout are not true.

She declined to disclose any information about what happened, but she said that Kennar had not caused any problems with the rest of the crew.

Yvonne’s interview contradicts a post she shared on her social media page a while back, in which she wrote, “Toxic people acting as victims is the funniest sh*t ever.” She also unfollowed Crazy Kennar on social media.

It is unclear what caused the rift between Yvonne and Kennar, but it is clear that there is some tension between them. Only time will tell if they are able to patch things up.

Possible reasons for the fallout

There are a few possible reasons for the fallout between Yvonne and Kennar. One possibility is that they had a disagreement about the direction of the House of Comedy. Another possibility is that they simply grew apart as people.

Whatever the reason, it is clear that the two are no longer on good terms. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to patch things up in the future.
