A-list actress, Yvonne Nelson has stated that she would love to get married one day.

Yvonne began to keep her love life far from the prying eyes of the public after her failed relationship with Nigerian musician Iyanya.

News of her pregnancy therefore caused a buzz on social media last year.

The movie producer last delivered a baby girl, Ryn Robert, last year with a British Photographer, Jamie Roberts.

Many have since been expecting the pair to get married which has not happened yet.

The award-winning actress in a recent interview acknowledged the importance of holy matrimony between a man and a woman.

 She also added that she would love to be united with a man in marriage one day.

Yvonne was however quick to add that marriage is quite a different journey on its own and should not be rushed at all.

“I’ll love to get married one day. It is something ordained by God, it is in the Bible and I’m a Christian and it is something I believe in. My mum, my brother and sister are all married and, so, I believe it is the right thing to do but it shouldn’t be rushed.

“In our generation, however, people don’t get to know somebody, they just rush and get married because they want to get a rock on their finger and all that and, so, you have to be patient when you want to get married, if you are sure, you can go for it. [But] I will love to get married,” she told Accra-based Peace FM in an interview.

Yvonne Nelson is currently promoting her latest movie titled Sin City which will be premiered at

the Silverbird Cinema on Valentine’s Day, 14 February.

Prolific actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson has refuted claims that she agreed to go out and decided to get pregnant for Jamie Roberts because he is white.

After news broke that Yvonne Nelson had been highly slammed for after news of her birth broke out.

She was awfully criticized by many on social media for many reasons.

But speaking in an interview, the actress refuted the claims.

According to her, she gave in to him because he is a good man and takes good care of her.

She said “Jamie Roberts is such a lovely guy and he treats me so well. I love him for who he is but I did not get pregnant for him because he is white.

“My attention was not on whether I wanted to date a white man or a black man but a man who can love me and Jamie Roberts has all the qualities,” she added.

A-list actress, Yvonne Nelson has disclosed that she had and still has no plans of accepting a nude role in her acting career.

Explaining why she won’t accept such a role, the mother of one said that she wants to be a good role model.

According to the celebrated actress, she won’t even accept $5 million for such a role, adding that

no amount of money can coerce her into doing that.

She further stated that she disagrees with people who think money is everything in life.

The ‘leggy’ actress made the comment while speaking about her role in her upcoming movie, ‘Sin City’ on Asempa FM.

Her initial response was “no” and that run throughout her submission.

“Oh no I won’t. This time it is even crazier because I have a child. I will never act nude because I want to serve a good example. The money is cool but no. The act is going to be there forever and I wouldn’t want to do that,” she revealed.

She mentioned that she once complained that times were hard under the Akuffo-Addo administration after she realized the cost of commodities had gone up.

“But I believe he still has time and, so, let us be patient with him,” she said regarding the performance of the president”, she said.

“He still has two more years to go,” she added.

Ghanaian actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson has shared how being a mother changed her

life and her perception about motherhood.

According to the actress, she remains unperturbed bout strong criticisms against her decision

to give birth out of wedlock.

According to her, rather than reacting to such criticisms she focused her attention on taking care of her daughter’s jaundice.

“When I gave birth to Ryn, she had jaundice so I was already fighting that and didn’t pay attention to the stories and criticisms online. My lawyer wrote to some of the journalists and they stopped writing those negative stuff about my pregnancy and giving birth. Some did apologize to me but I don’t really need those apologies,” she said.

Explaining why she seems not interested in those demeaning publications, the award-winning

actress said that being a mother has thought her so many things in life so her preferences have also changed.

had the conversation.

He however opted in and asked her colleague actress to be consistent with the lies and the

three actors giggled with Jamie’s Baby Momma asking if they want some exclusive on the show.

Since the current brouhaha at Menzgold, there have been several reports about names of some

celebs who had supposedly invested with the firm.

One of such names that pooped out is actress cum movie producer Yvonne Nelson.

She is alleged to have invested GHC330,000.00 in Menzgold in the list which included

Asamoah Gyan, Captain Smart, Sarkodie, Abeiku Santana among others.

Reacting to the news however, Yvonne has come out to rubbish such reports.

According to her, she is not part of celebrities who have invested huge sums of money in

gold dealership firm Menzgold as per reports.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, she described as “rubbish” the inclusion of her name in the list of

persons who have saved with Menzgold.

“Whoever is using my image in this menzgold crap better watch out,” she tweeted.

She added: “I don’t have any investment with them! Why don’t you write about their artistes. Rubbish!!!”

Meanwhile, a financial analyst has said celebrities who endorsed the activities of Menzgold

should be held accountable for misleading the public.

According to Joe Jackson, the celebrities used their influence to give credibility to the

activities of Menzgold.

His comments come after the police issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the CEO of

Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, for defrauding by false pretense.

Actress cum movie producer Yvonne Nelson is wondering if the country is once again

hit by power crises popularly known as ‘Dumsor’.

Yvonne is a former crusader against ‘dumsor’ under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.

Her question is borne out of the fact she experienced power outage the whole of Sunday,

December 16, 2018 despite assurances from the Ministry of Energy some weeks ago that

the country is never returning to the era of ‘dumsor’.

“Has #DUMSOR started??? Our light has been off the whole day!” she quizzed in a tweet calling on Ghanaians to wake up.

This comes barely a fortnight after she took to Twitter to rant about hardship in Ghana.

Actress cum movie producer, Yvonne Nelson is raising funds to support newly born mothers in various hospitals in Ghana.

Yvonne aims at supporting new mothers who are unable to afford their hospital bills and other items with this project.

Yvonne through an Instagram post revealed that, she is motivated to do this because of the

outpouring love shown by mothers to their children though they go through difficult times during child birth.

The donation according to the beautiful model is to put smiles on the faces of the new

Actress cum movie producer Yvonne Nelson has vowed to deal with anyone who will badmouth her daughter Ryn Roberts.

The actress has faced lots of criticisms and backlashes after news broke of her child delivery.

Yvonne welcomed her first child, Ryn Roberts about a yer ago with her UK photographer boyfriend, Jamie Roberts.

“If I feel like I should do it, yes. But now I don’t know maybe. It’s confusing. If I am gonna do it, there is no turning back. I don’t wanna marry and divorce. I wanna marry for the right reasons…” she indicated.

Actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has debunked rumors that the father of her daughter is already somebody’s husband.

According to Yvonne, she didn’t snatch anyone’s husband as rumors have and. Adding that even her baby daddy himself has confirmed it several times that he’s not married.

“No! I haven’t snatched any woman’s husband. He has said it himself, several times that he is not married but it looks like you want to hear something else”. She said

The “The Heels and Sneakers” actress however admitted that her baby daddy, Jamie Roberts has been married before and he had two kids from his former marriage.

Then came a Nigerian woman named Keela Harrison. Keela in an interview with Nigerian celebrity blog Instablog9ja said that Jamie is her husband. According to her, she was the one who even introduced Yvonne to Jamie because Yvonne was her client who patronized some items from her. Only for her to later snatch him away. She further alleged that Yvonne Nelson was telling Ghanaians some lies with some of the comments she passed.

Actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has revealed the name of her daughter.

Yvonne gave birth to a baby girl in October last year with her boyfriend Jamie Roberts.

The news of her childbirth came as a surprise to many Ghanaians since she was able to perfectly hide her pregnancy.

Though some bloggers and writers as usual, suspected and even published that Yvonne was pregnant at that time, she came out to deny it.

It wasn’t long before the whole truth came out when Yvonne admitted to giving birth in an interview.

It was later revealed that the father of her baby is one Jamie Roberts-a Brithish Photographer who hails from Wales to be precise.

There has since been so many controversies surrounding the relationship between the two love birds.

There has been no pictures of the baby on neither of the couple’s social media page.

Next was the fact that no one knew the baby’s name as well.

But Yvonne has coyly revealed the name of her baby via Twitter.

She was spotted on two occasions using that name and Ghanaians have been able to crack her puzzle.

In her first tweet, which could possibly be the day of the child’s christening Yvonne Revealed both names as Ryn Roberts.

Upon revealing the name, she prophesied that she will become someone great in future.

Prior to this was when Jamie posted a picture of a baby and her mother’s hands on his official Instagram page on Christmas day. Under the picture, he wrote; “Merry Christmas everyone Be thankful for ALL His Blessings #motherdaughter…”
