Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine will definitely hold his Kyarenga concert on 9th November 2018. The concert which was slated to happen on 20th October has been pushed further after the earlier set date was occupied by another event at Namboole stadium.

After a constant to and fro and impending cancelling of the show, it has been given a new lease of life.

The venue has not been changed and the concert will happen at Namboole stadium though a set of new strict guidelines have been installed to be followed prior and during the concert.

Then they are expected to make full payment for the venue hire charges to confirm the booking. If that is not cleared by 29th October, the offer will be withdrawn.

Sizzaman was popular some decades ago, with songs like “Angela owe nansana” which was a huge club banger.  He even became more popular when he dated straka babe but the wedding got botched.

He has since moved on and had a family of his own that is lives in London. This he says has been consuming his time.

“I am back and have three jams out already,” he said.

He has a reggae jam titled “Nabilose” in which he talks about dreams and another dancehall song is “Hedex”

Faded singer Leila Kayondo feels she has an opinion on how  Kanye should handle his family.

She claims he should have traveled alone instead of bringing his wife and family along. For someone who even failed to keep a boyfriend, one would think she should be able to give herself some relationship advice.

Leila Kayondo  took to her instagram to express her disappointment.  “Ogusajja gusilu nnyo. Insteady of telling Kim look here honey. This time I hv to go to Africa alone.i need 2 concentrate on my album. Nigga just brought even North. Nfaa,”

Our advice: Leila clean up your house first before you can open your mouth.

Bryan White Foundation boss, Bryan White has today been hosted on Galaxy FM 100.2’s Zzina Morning Saga.

Bryan White said his aim is to help the youth live a better life and nothing else. He said the youth need to be first trained on different skills that would help them to get busy.

Through his Bryan White Foundation (BWF), Bryan White has contributed UGX 5m for Mosh’s ‘Life Is A Beach Charity Show slated for 28th October, 2018 at Lido Beach’. Bryan White also contributed extra UGX 2m for the radio’s upcoming other events.

Made a short stop at Galaxy FM in Kansanga and had a good time while on the show. I was also privileged to have contributed a combined 7,000,000 UGX towards the Radio station’s upcoming events,” Bryan White posted after the show.

Irene Namubiru was forced to make a refund after she failed to perform at a show she had been contracted to perform at.

Irene says she waited till midnight before she was overpowered by sleep.

Narrating her ordeal on Instagram, the singer posted;

“I am sure many other Uganda artists will relate. The hardest part of our performances is having to wait an eternity before stepping on stage.

So last night, I dressed up like this waited till midnight and really Sleep overpowered me. I undressed and slept!”

Singer Lydia Jazmine separated with his longtime manager, Bushingtone after many years of working together.

Apparently the two were more involved than being just colleagues working together.

Jazmine has moved on to work with new management under Dennis Muganzi, Eddy Kenzo’s former driver.

Some claim they broke up due to their relationship going sour this was especially when there was a story in the news that they were living together and when he threw her out of the house, that was the beginning of their end togehter.

In a new interview, when Jazmine was pressed to talk about Bushingtone, she said she will never disclose why they ended their business relationship.

She said she is grateful for the things he did for her, and that’s the reason she can reveal whatever happened to them.

Faded lugaflow rapper GNL Zamba has dissed Kanye West for giving Museveni Yeezys instead of money for food and clean water.

“It does not matter whether you give or not, it is what you give that matters when you do.”” he said.

The Ugandan rapper believes that Kanye West’s visit is not a genuine one in the interests of the East African country but rather a pawn of sorts to effect Kanye’s music business.

He continues to that Kanye is a ‘Black Judas’ who cares about his own interests before those of thousands of people. For an example, Zamba points out Kanye’s visit to the State House where he gave President Museveni a pair of his Yeezy shoes instead of a deal to provide people with better needs like clean water.

For someone who ran away from Uganda instead of contributing to that Clean water and food GNL really has a big mouth.

Goodlyfe management is set to organise a listener’s party to honour Radio’s legacy.

Singer Mowzey Radio   passed on early this year, but his contribution to the music industry will never be forgotten.

The team led by manager Emotionz Feelingz, has promised a silent disco  party dubbed ‘ Moses The Great’ to celebrate his work.

The venue and date for party  is yet to be identified. Part of the money collected will be used to help the needy.

Singer Rema Namakula is currently on media tour after releasing her latest hit song, “Sili Muyembe”. Many of her fans think it’s directed towards her baby daddy, Eddie Kenzo.

She has been disclosing a lot about her private life while promoting her new song.

While appearing on Kasanga based Galaxy FM, Rema revealed she doesn’t want her daughter to join the music industry.

Rema shares a baby girl, Aamal Musuuza with Eddy Kenzo.

“I don’t want my only daughter Amaal to join  the music industry. I want her to pursue other professions,” Rema concluded.

After a long while of controversy but no music, Apass seems to have been working hard behind the scenes for the last few months. He posted on his social media for his fans to give an opinion about an all reggae album.

“I may be wrong but I think I need to do a 8 track Reggae Album. #Thoughts” he wrote

His fans overwhelmingly supported the idea with one fan suggesting he should have started work on the album already ,claiming most of the Ugandan music on the market is not that good .He also asked Apass to immediately hit the studio and start recording the 8 track reggae album, to which he replied ,“I already have like 500 plus reggae songs .I will have to just pick a few I don’t need to go to studio for that, I go to studio everyday.” he said

Upcoming rapper Recho Rey recently has  some serious issues with TNS boss, Jeff Kiwanuka.

According to insiders, Recho Rey may also quit the music label soon though her reasons are not yet clear.

Alternative sources say that Sheebah is overprotective of her. It is said that Sheebah wants to control the young rapper, and Recho Rey feels she suffocating.

This is the same reason why Nina Roz left the group, accusing Sheebah of jealousy.

It should be noted that last month, Chozen Blood officially exited the group citing lack of attention from Jeff Kiwanuka.

“Jeff is only concerned about his ‘wife’ Sheebah. Other artistes under the label are pushing music on their own,” he said.

Mary Luswata made a name for herself a few years ago for the Scoop on Scoop Show on Urban TV which earned her a lot of popularity. She however vanished from the media scene for a while and she had 2 babies in her resting period.

Recently, Judithiana who was the host of the Salon talk decided to throw in the towel she was contacted and announced as the replacement.

Mary’s return however is likely to take longer than we expected. Reportedly, Mary and the Urban TV management failed to come to terms regarding her pay.

It is believed that a few terms in the contract between both parties failed to reach an agreement. Mary is said to demand a UGX 5M salary in order to take over the new show yet Urban TV cannot pay that much.

For a person just making her return to TV, she sure in things for that much.
