For those who know Pastor Martin Sempa you know that he goes where the drama is.

Recently he came out to bash the ministry of tourism’s choice of Zari Hassan as their Ambassador.

In a tweet, Pastor Ssempa said the socialite’s character does not represent what Uganda is as a country.

“Her behaviours don’t represent our ethics of a strong family and good manners. May be people were troubled by the good looks that hide the reality of the knowledge of who we know Zari to be,” he noted.

He added,  “The only reason why a country seeking to market itself nationally and internationally would chose Zari as an ambassador is if we want to turn Uganda into a sex tourism industry.”

Zari was named Pearl of Africa and Visit Uganda ambassador last week, after several meetings with the Minister for Tourism Mr Godfrey Kiwanda.

Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo, the wife to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi,handed over 7.5 million shillings to the late Yasin Kawuma’s family.

The 7.5 million shillings was money collected by the Ugandan Community living in Los Angeles, USA, who felt touched by the sudden demise of their caretaker.

I visited the late Yasin Kawuma’s Orphans and mother living in Masaka. I carried with me 7.5 million shillings collected and sent to me by the Ugandan community living in LA.

Thank you very much LA for standing with the orphans living with mama Yasin. May God richly reward your generosity.” She said

The much anticipated Major Lazer Concert surely lived up to the hype as party goers were left yearning for more. The American trio comprises of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire, despite arriving in Kampala late in the afternoon on d-day, staged an electrifying performance during their set that lasted for about one and a half hours.

President Museveni has recently been making it rain in various parts of Uganda as is the norm when elections get closer.

Viboyo Oweyo has been arrested by the police for allegedly releasing a song that attacks President Yoweri Museveni and the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga.

Quoting Section 25 of the Computer Misuse Act 2011 on offensive communication, Sekatte said that, “Any person who willfully and repeatedly uses electronic communication to disturb or attempts to disturb the peace, quiet or right of privacy of any person with no purpose of legitimate communication whether or not a conversation ensues commits a misdemeanour and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty-four currency points or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both.”

The Police also claim that Viboyo said he was tired of the leadership of a Rwandan national, accusing him of carrying murders of former police spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi and Andrew Kayiira.

Vinka real Names Veronica Nakiyiji started her musical journey at Swangz Avanue last year and she has by far been the best export.

Although she has just started singing actively, Vinka has managed to put out some big club bangers like Malayika and chips na ketchup which have been widely appreciated in Uganda and abroad.

She started her journey being Irene Ntale’s Manager slowly learning her craft and we can say, those days have paid off.

She then started her solo music with Level which many disapproved of and said she would not be able to keep her place in the industry but still she kept faith.

She then released IN THE MOOD with also got down played by critics.

The Song MALAIKA really cemented her place in the industry. this song has been on everybody’s lips and become Vinka’s  pride and joy.

From here it has been only upwards.

 

With Love doctor, Vinka’s team really showed prowess in directing designing a music video. They made the faded DiDi’s world look like disneyland.

 

SHe has also had some collabos with trending artists like Fik Fameica (Tubikole) and Voltage Music (Overdose)

SHe will go on her first international tour in London this weekend.

Incase you did not know, singer Desire Luzinda is now a born-again Christian. She recently revealed that she made the transition while launching her album dubbed  “Transition”. Desire seems to be going through an emotional whirlwind or rather what a Christian would say, experiencing the saving grace of God!

Luzinda has been off the scene for quite sometime since her last musical release and maybe this is the time she was using to find her God.
