Awards-winning Ghanaian artiste, Vera Hamenoo Kpeda, populalrly known as MzVee has sent a piece of advice to all single ladies seeking partners.

But most importantly she will mention a guy who lives a luxurious lifestyle.

the top managers at Zylofon.

Adding that all artiste managers at the music label have been asked to resign from all their

positions, leaving her with no option than to name her husband, Dave Joy as her new manager.

to return all the monies and loans she took from the label if she is not happy.

My Kids Gave Me Strength During Divorce – Hamamat Montia

Ghanaian model cum entrepreneur, Hamamat Montia has revealed opened up on her divorce

with former husband.

Divorce can be quite a heart-breaking experience and Hamamat’s own was no different.

At this stage, many try to find to draw strength from many places. Some find solace in God,

alcohol, drugs or anything.

According to the former Miss Malaika queen, however, she found strength in her two daughters.

“You know when things did not go as planned, it was painful, it hurt but I had to be strong.

I looked around to find what could keep me going then one day, I heard my

daughters say to each other that they wanted to be like me when they grew up and

that was the wake up call for me, that I had to pick up the pieces and move on.

“If not for anything at all, I want to be that great woman, that strong mommy they

can look up to. I was expected to look someway because my partner had moved on

way earlier than I expected but no, I didn’t, I stood my grounds and today, I am here,

I just want to give my children a reason to be happy,” she told Showbiz.

Though she would not give details about what led to her marriage ending, Hamamat accepted

that she also contributed to the divorce.

“I would blame myself too because it takes two people to make it work but if I am not in a happy place, I will not stay there because of my children, no, I need to leave to be strong and hold them down when the need arises.

“I know there are lots of women who are in marriages that are causing them pain but are staying with the excuse that they want the best for their children but no, you cannot hold your children down when you kick the bucket, when you are devastated etc,” she said.

Hamamat’s experience has taught her valuable lessons and she told Showbiz that if her

daughters should find themselves in the same position, she would advise them to choose happiness.

“Like I keep saying, if I stay in it and I am miserable and my daughters find themselves in such a situation, what advice will I give them, that is what I think of whenever I am making a decision.”

The former beauty queen has been at the receiving end of a lot of online bullying, especially

for her dark skin but she said she was not bothered.

READ:https://www.ghafla.co.ke/gh/divorcing-my-husband-affected-my-kids-sherifa-gunu/

“I get some comments about how bad I look as a dark girl but I am not perturbed by those things, I love who I am and will not allow anyone to talk me out of it.

“My experience has taught me that as Africans, we need to accept and celebrate our skin and take care of it and this birthed my shea butter business.

“I have come to realise that shea butter has a lot of benefits so instead of using all those creams with chemicals in it, use shea butter, it has a lot of benefits”, she added.

Hamamat encouraged people to be comfortable in their skin saying bleaching should not be an

option for anyone.

To those who are about to get married, she had these words, “Happiness is key and remember

that whatever the turnout of events are, you have a role to play. Take your time and make sure you truly know the person.”

According to her, her past relationships were with pastors, members of parliament, actors and other prominent individuals. Moreover, they were all very wealthy. However, a blog post by Ghanacelebrities, in which the writer mentioned that someone sponsored Salma’s trip to Greece. Moreover, the post angered her.

Therefore, she took to Instagram to blast the writer of the blog post, Salma. Furthermore, she stated that no man sponsored her trip. She works hard for her own money so she could travel anytime she pleases.

It is really a shame to educate young women of today that the only way they can live the life they dream about is to get a SPONSOR (a man to spend). And I’m super sad that even women have come to believe and accept that all they need is a man!
A man is not a bad idea but we can do it too.

To me it is an insult and disrespect to all women in GHANA. So are we saying that women don’t work? Nothing good can ever come out of a woman? Must it always be about a man?
This is a terrible MINDSET.

Can’t we educate our youth that if they work hard and smart everything can be achieved?

I know women in Ghana who work and spend their own money and this is so much disrespect to US.

Ah baaaah…… I work for crying out loud ??‍♀️ people who know me in person knows how much I’m always trying to make money.

My BANK Accout is crying and y’all are out here giving CREDIT to your imaginary SPONSOR y’all gave me.

The fact that I don’t come to display all my businesses here doesn’t mean I own just a restaurant and ACT.

And who even told y’all show business doesn’t pay at all? Take yourself seriously and the people, company and businesses (stakeholders) will take you seriously.

Do y’all even know how much I make on this Instagram alone every month?

Y’all are patronizing businesses I OWN without knowing.

I only post and advertise businesses that needs advertising. Which is @salmaseatry
Why y’all get so bitter when a young person tries to make it without your help?
Y’all don’t help even though y’all are in a position to help.

And Oh at what point did I say GHANA IS A SHIT HOLE?
SMFH, y’all always painting your CELEBRITIES black to the rest of the world without thinking.
Y’all should stop painting me black to my loved ones because am not that kind of woman.

It Is Unwise For Ghanaians To Be Just Spectators – Juliet Asante

Executive Director of Black Star International Film Festival, Juliet Asante,

has urged Ghanaians to get in involved in the celebration of the Year of Return scheduled for

this year.

In a post on LinkedIn, The prolific noted that ‘Year of Return’ meant to commemorate

400 years of  slavery, needs to be given the necessary support.

“This is a beautiful thing happening. Again, Ghana has showed leadership and is doing the right thing. Giving opportunities for our brothers and sisters wrongfully taken to have the opportunity to claim back their birthright as a choice,” she wrote.

She also admonished Ghanaians to be well-prepared in welcoming guest who come into the

country during the period.

“Ghanaians should be brought along though… when you invite someone home, they should have a warm welcome.

For this to happen, the people in the house should know the guest is coming, they should accept that the guest is coming… they should prepare for the guest… and then the guest will want to stay… anaa?
… this is too important an event, and it must be done right,” she added.

In her final remarks, Juliet Asante said she was expecting the right education to be done for the general public as regards the celebration.

“We look forward to the education and engagement that will precede,” Juliet stated.

The President Nana Akufo-Addo has declared 2019 ‘The Year of Return.’

This marks 400 years since the shipping of some Black Africans and Ghanaians for that matter as slaves took place.

In keeping with this, there shall be a series of programmes that seek to encourage people

of African ancestry to come back home.

The Ghana Tourism Authority, under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, is coordinating

the year-long calendar of activities in “celebration of the resilience of the African spirit”.

This however is in partnership with the Office of Diaspora Affairs in the Office of the

President, the Pan-African Historical Theatre Festival (Panafest) Foundation and The Adinkra Group.

According to him, Bullet has created a new path for himself which has nothing to do with his

beloved late daughter and as such he does not see the need to rope him in on anything he does

in memory of her. Staboy Kwarteng also stated that Bullet stood on the VGMA platform recently

and declared that he has had a replacement for Ebony, which means he has forgotten about the late.

The sad looking Mr. Kwarteng also told Abeiku Santana that he feels Bullet is a busy man who is doing something great with Wendy Shay, the replacement he has for Ebony and as such should not be disturbed. He however ended by stating that should Bullet feel that Ebony helped him(Bullet) to get to where he is now and decides to come on board, he won’t sack him.
