Pritty Vishy Clarifies Brother’s Age After Nanny Pregnancy Revelation Sparks Debate

Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy has clarified her younger brother’s age after her recent revelation that he had impregnated the family’s nanny sparked widespread discussion on social media.

The influencer had earlier disclosed that her brother was expecting a child with the family’s nanny, prompting many online users to question whether he was a minor.

‘My brother is not a minor’

Responding to the speculation through her Instagram Stories, Pritty dismissed claims that she had misled the public, insisting that her brother is an adult.

She revealed that he is currently 20 years old and still in Form Four, explaining that he started school later than most students—a situation she said she also experienced.

“Wenye wanasema nadanganya okay, why should I lie with my brother’s name?? He’s not a minor… Ako 20yrs right now…(yes 20 na ako Form 4, just like me I finished nikiwa 20yrs) tulisoma polepole.”

According to Pritty, completing secondary school at the age of 20 is normal within her family’s educational journey.

Nanny is older than her brother

Pritty also disclosed that the nanny involved is slightly older than her brother.

“The girl is slightly older than him; she’s 22yrs or turning 22yrs, something like that.”

She had previously revealed that the family only learned about the pregnancy when it was already five months along.

Since her brother is still in secondary school, Pritty said the family has stepped in to help support the expectant mother and prepare for the child’s upbringing.

The content creator also defended her decision to discuss the family matter on social media after some followers questioned why she made it public.

According to Pritty, her social media platforms are a space where she shares personal experiences with her followers. She noted that she had previously featured the nanny in short Instagram clips without revealing her identity and has continued to protect her privacy.

“Kwa wenye wanasema why am I telling you guys (bruh this is my platform and even when she came, I did some Insta clips… though I didn’t show her face and I can’t ata sai… was just saying coz I mean I felt like it’s funny you know).”

Her clarification comes after the initial revelation generated widespread reactions online, with social media users continuing to debate the family’s unusual situation.
