Betty Bayo’s Final Wish: The Dreams She Had for Her Daughter Sky Before Her Death

In the wake of gospel singer Betty Bayo’s heartbreaking death, her close friends and family are revealing touching details about the future she had envisioned for her daughter, Sky Victor.

Though her life was cut short by leukaemia, the “11th Hour” hitmaker had big dreams for her children — dreams that painted a picture of a devoted mother who never stopped believing in what tomorrow could hold.

A Mother’s Dream for Sky

Before her passing on November 11, Betty had confided in her close friend Sarah Mtalii, a travel agency owner, about her plans to expose Sky to global opportunities and world-class education.

“She wanted Sky to become a global citizen,” Sarah shared. “That’s why she was planning to send her to the Cambridge University summer camp and next year, the Harvard University summer camp. We had so many plans about how to make our kids better than who we are.”

Sarah revealed that Betty’s excitement about her daughter’s education was unmatched — every conversation somehow circled back to Sky’s future.

“There’s a museum she talked about that she said was so good for children. She was so passionate about learning, growth, and giving Sky more than she ever had,” she recalled.

The Friendship Behind the Dreams

Sarah also disclosed that the two had recently met to plan a family vacation for Betty and her son Danivictor, unaware that it would be their last. Beyond their friendship, the women shared ambitions — to build businesses, travel the world, and raise their children to reach greater heights.

“She stood by me last year when I was going through a hard time,” Sarah said emotionally. “We had big dreams — to tour the world and invest together. It was God’s will that she left, but I pray the dreams she had for Sky will come true.”

Carrying On Betty’s Legacy

Determined to keep her friend’s vision alive, Sarah has pledged to support Sky’s education and ensure the little girl achieves every dream her mother had mapped out.

“My pledge to Sky is that I will support her with all the dreams her mum had and make sure she achieves them,” she said. “Poleni sana to the family and all of Betty’s friends.”
