Diana Marua Urges Bahati To Sell Their Luxury Cars For A New Home
Popular socialite, singer, and entrepreneur Diana Marua has made an earnest plea to her husband, musician Kevin Bahati, to sell all their luxury vehicles and move to a new house.
In a video shared on Bahati’s Instagram, the “Mama” hitmaker is seen leaving for work as Diana’s voice is heard in the background, initially complementing his stylish attire before launching into her passionate appeal.
Bahati was impeccably dressed in a broken suit, featuring beige-khaki pants, a striped green and white shirt, and a checked brown blazer. His ensemble was completed with dark-tanned official shoes matching his belt, a wristwatch, earrings, designer glasses, and a black laptop bag, projecting the image of a successful businessman.
Despite her husband’s polished appearance and their array of high-end cars, Diana expressed deep dissatisfaction with their current residence, located in an area plagued by potholes. She voiced her desire to relocate to a more upscale neighborhood, suggesting that by selling their vehicles, they could easily afford a better home.
“My heart is not at home, baby. Why do we have all these cars? Tuko na Brabus, tuko na Prado, tuko na Range Rover pale baby. Ukicombine zote, they’re more expensive than this house… I’m not at peace in this house… babe nihamishe please,” Diana passionately asserted in the video, highlighting her discomfort and her belief that the combined value of their cars surpasses that of their home.
Bahati Turns Down Diana’s Request
However, Bahati quickly dismissed Diana’s suggestion. He quipped that people from the Luo community (his ethnicity) generally prioritize driving sleek machines over their houses. Despite his playful brush-off, Diana continued to press her case, pleading with her husband to agree with her.
The video concludes with Bahati getting into his Prado, and his chauffeur swiftly driving off, leaving Diana behind in a cloud of dust.
Bahati and Diana are well-known among Kenyan celebrities who own their homes, making Diana’s push for a new residence a notable development in their public lives.
