She also touched upon her successful co-parenting relationship with ex-boyfriend, actor Tyler Mbaya.
Njenga described motherhood as a transformative, albeit difficult, experience.
“Raising Astra has not been easy, of course, but as they say, children have a way of healing you somehow,” she shared. She expressed immense gratitude for Astra’s presence, crediting her daughter as her biggest inspiration, especially during her darkest times, including a mental breakdown following a heartbreak. “If I weren’t a mother, I don’t think I would have wanted to do better. Having Astra makes me pull back every time,” she admitted, highlighting Astra’s role in her personal growth.
As a young mother, Njenga revealed the substantial responsibilities she balances daily, from hands-on parenting to self-care, financial management, and maintaining a social life.
“I have to take care of Astra, take care of myself, pay bills, balance going out — it’s a lot,” she confessed.
Co-Parenting and Lessons Learned
Despite having Astra at a young age, a decision she was advised against, Njenga, who dated Tyler Mbaya for three years before their 2023 breakup, emphasized that she harbors no regrets. However, she lightheartedly added, “I don’t regret having Astra, but I would not advise having a baby at a young age. I think for me, I broke up with my baby daddy in the long run, so it’s not advisable — but I was warned and I didn’t listen,” she joked.
Following their separation, Georgina and Tyler committed to a co-parenting arrangement, which Njenga stated has been progressing smoothly.
“Tyler and I agreed on co-parenting, and it has been going well,” she confirmed, firmly adding, “There are no chances of us ever getting back together, but we want to have a healthy co-parenting relationship for our baby.”
She also excited fans by revealing they are collaborating on a new project and hinted at more content featuring both of them and Astra in the future.
Prioritizing Maturity in New Relationships
Looking ahead to her romantic life, Njenga shared that she now prioritizes maturity in a partner, drawing from her own accelerated growth as a mother.
“Right now, I cannot date a man who is below 27 years old,” she explained. “Women tend to mature earlier than men, and having a baby has forced me to mature even more. I have to be with a man who is mature as well.” She concluded by playfully hinting that she might be in a promising new “situationship,” leaving fans curious about her romantic future.
