Media personality Azeezah Hashim has made a public declaration that she is ready for marriage but insists that any potential suitor should forget about bringing a dowry. Speaking to YouTuber Silva Kiddo on Saturday, September 27, 2025, she stated that love is her only requirement for walking down the aisle.

Azeezah, who confirmed she is of age, lamented that despite her readiness, no man has stepped forward with a proposal.

“I am still waiting to get married, and you know I cannot marry myself, yet you men have not come,” she said. “There have been no proposals, and I have not received any news of a proposal. I do not have dowry, you can come just as you are.”

Azeezah clarified that she has set no bride price and is not actively searching for a man, believing it’s the man’s responsibility to present himself. She argued that when a woman searches for a man, the relationship often lacks seriousness, with some men viewing it as simply a checklist item.

The media personality also shared a surprising position on polygamy. She stated that she has no objection to becoming a second wife, but under very specific conditions.

“If someone wants me to be a second wife, he should come with his first wife to my parents,” she said. She maintained that in such a scenario, there would be no period of dating beforehand; if her parents were approached formally and she accepted, she would not have a problem.

Azeezah concluded by reiterating that she is simply waiting patiently for the right man to initiate the process, as she has never been married and does not know the exact traditional formalities for introduction.
