In a recent candid interview on Radio 47, MC Exodus opened up about his journey, tracing it back to a life-changing encounter during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It was then that he met veteran broadcaster Alex Mwakideu—a moment he now credits as a major turning point in his life.

“You were the first person who inspired me, and this is the result you see today,” he told Mwakideu.
“During the Corona period, I told you I had a talent for broadcasting. You said I needed something concrete to present before you could help—and that advice stayed with me.”

One of MC Exodus’s early ambitions was to perform on the iconic Churchill Show, Kenya’s premier comedy platform. He recounted how a kind employer once paid for his ticket to attend the show, but the distance from Athi River to Nairobi’s recording venues repeatedly made it impossible for him to make auditions.

“I missed several opportunities just because of the distance,” he said. “But I never stopped trying.”

Though that dream didn’t materialize then, Exodus carved a new path—one rooted in digital content creation. Through short skits packed with humor and heart, he’s now living out his dream on his own terms.
