Oga Obinna Vows Silence In Interviews After Amber Ray Beef

Media personality Steve Tomphson Maghana, widely known as Oga Obinna, has publicly declared he will no longer answer interview questions pertaining to other people’s lives. His firm vow was made during a surprise party thrown in his honor by YouTubers.

“From today onwards, whenever I am doing any interview and I am asked a question that does not concern me, I shall remain silent,” Obinna stated. He further clarified that he would only comment on others’ affairs if he possessed absolute certainty about the matter.

Obinna also revealed that his team has advised him against making hasty comments about other individuals’ lives during interviews.

“When I speak, I must be very sure. I have been advised by Omosh and the team, that when I am asked, ‘Obinna, what do you think of…?’ I shall think nothing and keep quiet,” he added, emphasizing his commitment to this new approach.

The media personality alluded to the recent escalation of his public feud with socialite Amber Ray, jocularly admonishing the YouTuber who had posed a question about her during his show’s red carpet segment on Saturday, June 7, 2025. “But when it comes to the lady, leave her alone. You see, matters involving a lady have stirred trouble. By the way, who was it that asked that question the other day? It was you. You have seen the case, and you have implicated me,” he remarked, highlighting the direct consequence of such inquiries.

Obinna’s declaration comes just hours after a heated war of words erupted between him and Amber Ray. The dispute stems from allegations of betrayal following their collaboration on a video shoot.

This public vow also surfaces shortly after Obinna confided his desire to end the bitter feud with the reality TV star for various personal reasons. In a video shared on his Instagram page earlier on Monday, June 9, 2025, just hours after Amber Ray retaliated by posting screenshots of their private messages from 2022, Obinna explained his motivation. He expressed concern that the situation was on the verge of spiraling out of control and affirmed his disinterest in allowing it to escalate further.
