And among these magnates, is 22-year old Kaycyy Pluto who has been accredited as a writer of Lil Wayne´s track Big Worm.
Kaycyy is a Kenyan-born rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia and is known for a couple of hit songs, some featuring big shots like Lil Baby and Lil Keed.

The young artist is set to be releasing his second album soon, following his debut Patiently Waiting that came out early in the year.

Nonini is among the first people who managed to change the music industry. This is due to his hardcore vibe that left him looking like a bad boy back in the early 2000’s.

Anyway, just recently Nonini opened up about his music journey while on an interview with Cleaning The Airwaves (CTA) ; where he also happened to share a few words about the late Lady S.
For those who remember Lady S know that this particular lady might have changed the music industry in ways we cannot understand. She was not only gifted in terms of dropping lyrics; but her vibe kept those around her very happy and this is why Nonini still mourns till date.

Although Nonini feels that Lady S left quite soon, he continues to blame her death on the horrible Thika super highway road before it was fixed. According to Nonini, he still gets angry every time he uses that high as it robbed Kenya one of the most talented Femcees from back in the day.

When i pass through the Thika superhighway, I really get angry because it took so long for that highway to be made. Because the road was bad. She came with her own flavor. We were singing the way you talk and that’s how we blew up!

Kenyan artistes have time and again been cautioned about the kind of content they produce, which must meet the required ethical standards according to the boards that are in-charge of them.
However, many have turned a deaf year and surprisingly, it´s not even the older generation of music artistes that has been condemned for vulgar content, it is the young and upcoming generation.
One would say: this is their time and this is the trend, let them be, they will improve later. But what many have failed to understand is that ´old habits die hard.´

Through his YouTube channel Young & Stupid Ep8, the former Tahidi high actor recalled how we sought designer services from La Giacca, a brand with an Italian name meaning ´The Jacket´.
His first contact with the tailor gave him an impressive perception of the brand and he did not doubt one bit!
He told me that the lapel fabric on my blazer would be imported and the whole outfit would only cost KSh 60,000. I thought the price was fair because at a high-end shop, it would have cost KSh 300,000 and above.

Up-front, Abel paid the amount in full because of how much trusted the tailor.
His measurements were taken with a clean fit of the trends of that time. 3 weeks down the line and waiting, Abel was still confident with his tailor.
A month later, the tailor called and told him everything was done and even ready for wear but there was one thing he needed to work on, to complete the look.
The suit is ready to wear but there is a small piece of material that I haven´t received, give me one week to complete.

One week lapsed and his friends started growing doubts about the tailor but the young actor calmed them down.
The tailor however requested for another week, yet the actual wedding was just two weeks away.
He brought me another suit which he claimed had the same measurement and any adjustments would then be done on the actual outfit.
The tailor convinced him that in a few, he would bring back the complete suit, with every detail in place.

The TV personality never heard from his tailor until the eve of his wedding. The tailor came with the suit that allegedly was made of imported material but Abel could clearly tell it was locally made.

The tailor asked to go back with suit, to have it dry cleaned and pressed, ready for his big day. Promising to drop the suit by 4am the following morning – his wedding day.
6:30 am, Abel´s alarm went on but on inquiring from his groom team about any parcel that might have been dropped early morning, the response was ´no´.
They rang the tailor´s phone but his phone was not going through. They kept their hopes high and waited for about 7:00 am to call back.
One hour later, phone still not going through. The actor started getting uneasy that he might disappoint his bride but he never told her of the happenings.

9:30, he was getting late to get to church that was set for 10:00 am.
Quickly, the groom and his team agreed on a common theme and then borrowed friends and neighbors something to substitute because time was not on their side.
We went to church and immediately the bride walked in, she was shocked at our outfits. We were dressed in black and white like waiters. She could not tell the groom from the waiter. The wedding started and we proceeded to the reception.

Soon after the newly weds made their vows and already done with the reception, Abel´s phone rang and it was a notification that the tailor´s phone had now been switched on.
It rang again and an unknown caller told him:
Your suit has been dropped off at your apartment.

Since then:
I never heard from the tailor ever again. No apology, no remorse. From that day I learnt my lesson the hard way.

Let me take you back in time – 2 years ago – when news making headlines were that Betty got embarrassingly dumped by Governor Joho who snatched back the high-end ride he bought for her.
Among what the Mombasa governor allegedly repossessed from her were: a fully furnished home in Nairobi´s Kilimani area, a BMW X6 and a Porsche Cayenne.

Before we delve into that, there is just something about this game that doesn´t sit well with me. Your friends had rather go to extreme lengths to see you do stuff they are very well aware irritate you to the core.

The mother of 1 has however braved up over time and shown off the scar to the world, as she remembers it as a symbol that her life got saved after the tragic incident.
Funny enough, the Internet sensation got her scar while going out on a date with her then-boyfriend.

As she was just about to cross the road to get to the other side, a fast-moving public bus swept her off and continuously dragged her on the tarmac.
This scar I got it when I was in form three. So what happened is, I was walking in tao, pale hivo Railways, nilikuwa naenda date. Aki maboyz, nyi hutufanya vibaya. Naenda date, nagongwa. So nikagongwa na hizi matatu, zinaitwa Double M. So imekuja hapo tu Railways, ikanipata karibu nafika kwa pavement, nikaingia chini yake and it´s still moving. Imagine! That was me. Ikamove na uso yangu. So you know I´m sleeping on this side and it´s moving, I´m hoooked on my blouse.
What was left of a beautiful teenager, going to meet up her boyfriend was a ripped-off face, broken jaw and ribs, injured back and legs – and a girl whose life hang on the edge.
So it peeled off all my skin from my face to the neck. It was all gone. Imagine! Even my jaw broke, that´s why sometimes when I smile, my lips slant a bit on my left side and I´ve seen people comment about that on my pages. Si poa! So because my jaw broke, it affected a bit of my smile. I also broke my ribs, my left clavicle, my back got injured and I sought of broke my legs. I couldn´t walk for sometime and it´s like both my lungs also got affected.

Ms Betty spent more time in the hospital beds than in school, having to undergo at least 7 surgeries to repair the wounds and broken bones but she still didn´t look good enough.
Leaving the house meant she would dress like a Muslim girl living in Europe. Why? because she needed to cover up the scars.
I went through a total of seven surgeries, to just get myself back together. I used to be ashamed of it so ata everytime nikitembea tao, those days when I was younger, I used to leave the house with a scarf to cover my face and my neck. Or I would wear a turtle neck instead. Saa hio jua imewaka pale railways tukiwa na my mom lakini mimi nimeng´ang´ana tu na pull-neck because I was so embarrassed of the scar. I hated it.

Eventually, Betty learnt to accept herself as she was, because no human is perfect. In fact, we all have our scars that tell a story that remind us that we survived something. We can only be grateful that we live. Right?

But I thank God. So every time I see this scar, it reminds me that I defeated something. I think sometimes we eventually grow. I was like, wait a minute, yaani here I am, I am embarrassed of this scar yet ni Mungu alinisaidia and saved my life. So what is a scar? What´s a scar? I know we all have scars some are internal but we also have those on the external so don´t feel ashamed. A scar means you survived something. I would have been dead by now. But look, just a scar, it is what it is.

So I remember when I started my job at KTN, I used to be so cautious cause I didn´t want my boss to see I have a scar, nikose kupatiwa job cause I used to think it´s all about looks. But it is not all about looks, I will tell you that, it´s hardwork. So I used to wear those high-collared shirts and people were like ´eh, na huyu dame anajua sense of style manze!´ kumbe hawajui mimi ni kuficha scar.
Looking back at the kind of memories her face and neck scar caused her and took her through, Betty smiles and thanks God that she is alive and accepting herself like she is.
At least my face eventually healed. I think like after 1 year. I used to eat a lot of apples and some fruits I was told by the doctor helps skin.
Anerlisa Muigai is officially off the market! Actually rumor making rounds is that she has been off the market after holding a low key wedding with her fiancé, Benpol.
The two held their special day at an unknown church in Tanzania; before heading out to a certain garden where the after party went down.

Anyway, through his YouTube channel, the preacher revealed just how much women from his church, worked day and night, witchcraft or not, waiting to see his marriage crumble.
During the interview with his wife of 8 years, Mercy Murugi, the city pastor narrated how multiple women would send him romantic texts and insistently call him, to attract his wife´s wrath.
There is a day I came and found that she had packed all her clothes and ran away from home. My phone usually created more issues between us. I remember one day in Naivasha, a text message reading ´Thank you for the good night we had yesterday.´

This prompted him to be open with his wife about false accusations that were being channeled towards him, to destroy his reputation and break his marriage.
I gave her and asked her to read it as it was a false accusation. If she had seen it later on, the situation would have escalated.

The couple was then forced to acquire new numbers soon after to just get rid of these temptations. Pastor Ng´ang´a went ahead to remove any passwords or encryption he had on his phone, to build trust in his young wife.

I was not a saint because I was married before meeting her. I expected her to come and fill the shoes of my late wife. Every time she ran away with my BMW, I followed her to their home with the police and repossessed it. However, I prayed over it and she came back and settled.
Speaking of her tough experience, dealing with a popular man she was not sure whether to trust or not, Ms Murugi divulged that these trying times only strengthened her faith the more.

The controversial preacher further disclosed the lengths that women would go to have him to themselves, soon after he lost his first wife.
There were thousands of women who wanted me to marry them. Others were politicians, while some were bishops. A woman even offered me KSh 3 million to marry her. They tried duping me by posing the money as offerings.

But he saw the light. He realized that none of his chasers had genuine intentions towards him and he quickly settled with Mercy, after which many of his secret admirers took off.

Explaining that he decided to settle with a younger wife – a daughter to one of his church members – because he needed someone to take care of him in his old age.
Ushers and women in the church left after I married her as they decided to walk away. They even tried to fight her and even used witchcraft, while questioning why I married a younger wife. I think it would have been unwise to marry my age-mate because at some point we would have aged and failed to take care of each other.
