Wendy’s former manager, Joe Mwangi spends 5 days locked up

Wendy Waeni’s ex-manager, Joe Mwangi was on Tuesday arrested following forgery claims of impersonation. However, he will spend more time locked up.

Joseph Mwangi detention runs for 5 days (since his arrest) to allow further investigations without any form of interference.

This is after allegedly impersonating the Interior CS, Fred Matiang’i in a letter addressed to the young acrobat’s mother as a threat.

The court’s decision was arrived at after senior principal magistrate, Bernard Ochoi’s ruling that the detention period is valid.

However, the police intended to have the child ‘extortionist’ detained for a whooping 7 days before the court’s ruling on 5 days detention.

According to the chief magistrate, Mr Mwangi ran into hiding after getting wind that the police are after him.

Police investigations are now addressing a complaint raised by Wendy’s mother. Where she cites that Mr Mwangi forged a letter purporting to be from Dr Matiangi, sent via mail.

True to his word! Konshens lands in Kenya for a second time

Legendary Jamaican dancehall artist, Konshens has set foot on the Kenyan motherland for a second time ahead of his promised performance at the Hype Fest Concert come Saturday.

Garlfield Spence better known as Konshens, landed at JKIA yesterday just before midnight. Early morning he confirms his safe arrival in the country sharing:

The dancehall master is set to headline the concert as local acts curtain-raise the event. Local acts set to perform are Ethic Entertainnment and The Kansoul among others.

This becomes his second visit on the Kenyan motherland after untamed pressure from fans on him to deliver his word to them, that he will actually keep his promise making a second return.

It is with humility that he conducts his fatherly role to his children, who he reveals teach him couple lessons every passing day, in a way he just blends in.

His late wife, Regina Katar lost her life days after giving birth to their adorable baby girl, Jay.

He is coping, that is no lie and he has proved it time and gain, so that is no big itch to him. However, ladies think it is time he hired a nanny to take care of the little one because he has duly delivered on his father-daughter duties.

Zari Hassan has given her heart to someone else, after Diamond failed to cushion it as desired. But question remains; to whom did she give her healing heart?

She has introduced the world to a guy she likes calling “Mr M”, “King Bae” and now, her legal hubby.

Jimmy Gait’s sickness has gone viral since the day he opened up about an illness he has battling with for some time now, that has forced him out of the entertainment scene.

Kenyans took him seriously, remembering him in prayers, sharing words of encouragement even journeying with him till his shocking revelation of the ‘malice’ Kenyan doctors have.

Netizens came out guns blazing towards local Kenyan medical practitioners whose greed for money has them exploiting locals.

Well, not everyone has bought his story because Jimmy Gait is yet to convince them with more factual evidence.

The President of Single Mothers has been on-and-off relationships that have multiplied her lineage numerously and still is with a recent confession on her pregnancy.

Well, he have no issue with her extending her legacy but she misses a baby daddy she once fought in court, over child custody.

Thursday, the 28th of June 2018, Akothee could not hide her zeal after winning a court case against her baby daddy, as she expressed on social media:

God has done it again, he keeps doing it for the innocent ones, He fights our battles! The number of trips I made to the law courts just to fight for our safety and your rights, the number of emails back and forth between lawyers just to prove which point.

This is after 6 months of hard battle in the court rooms since it’s opening in January 2018. However, she might be over it but still attached to it in one way or another.

Baby Daddy

This is through her children. Children she bore with a man she fought hard battles with in court, but still remains her sons’ father.

She sure has acknowledged this fact after her sons, Ojwang and Oyoo spent far too much time in France all in the name of vacation.

 

Unfortunately, the kids are stuck there and savoring the moments like their last. Akothee apparently feels saddened to note that Papa Oyoo is way too kind in letting their boys enjoy vacation stress-free.

It is accomplished! Jeff Koinange finally fulfills his long-term promise to late Kibra MP, Ken Okoth

It is considered a noble thing to do, that once you make your promise, you just have to fulfill it. There are no two ways about this and Jeff Koinange seems to have a similar school of thought.

The veteran Kenyan media personality made a promise to the late Kibra MP, Ken Okoth while he was still alive and kicking. And it tore Jeff apart to have failed to accomplish his goal before Okoth’s untimely death.

So the smoking hot Jeff soon after took it to task to ensure his promise was duly fulfilled. The late Kibra MP challenged the Citizen TV journalist to grace the girls at Mbagathi High School with a library.

It’s initial name was to be “The Jeff Koinange Library” but to honor the fallen hero, Jeff had it named “Ken Okoth Memorial Library” instead.

On Saturday, Jeff Koinange broke the news of the commence of the school library’s book stocking via his Facebook page.

He expressed:

Folks… Almost two years ago, former Kibra MP, the late Ken Okoth challenged me on the bench to build a library for the kids at Mbagathi High School! He called it the Jeff Koinange library. Today, we have started stocking the shelves with books.

Further clarifying:

Harmonize speaks about his new album and his plan for East Africa’s music growth in the Western market

Ex-WCB artiste, Harmonize has spoken his first since handing in his resignation letter to WCB’s management.

The bongo star spoke to BBC Swahili in a candid interview, about his “One Africa music fest” performance in the UK.

He was first pretty grateful for the massive turnout in the UK, despite fact that the announcement was made barely days to the performance.

And further concerning his new album that is expected to come out by end of the year, despite his departure from WCB:

Well, album yangu inaitwa Bongo to Lagos. Itakua ni more of collaborations kwa wasanii wa West Africa and East Africa. Na ni kama East meet West. But the point is kuonyesha wasanii wa West Africa watambue zaidi mziki wetu, wajue bongo flava kwa undani. Mi naita Afro-East.

This is basing on fact that Afro-beat is music popularly known to originate from Africa, but in real sense it covers more of the West than the rest of Africa.

Furthermore, he revealed his plans to speak to East African artistes concerning lack of their music growth in the Western world.

Pia Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, wa-Tanzania ni wengi sana lakini pia Zimbabwe na maeneo tofauti tofauti. Lakini pia mziki wetu unajaribu kidogo kupenya Nigeria na sehemu tofauti tofauti. So tukitangaza show na kiandaliwe vizuri, naamini kabisa itaja.

But that’s not it for him in the world of music as he looks forward to achieve his dream of staging performances in London’s biggest arena, 02.

The mother of one emotionally recounts:

When I started dating Ben Gatu, I was young and naive. I ran for the marriage life right after graduation, when I was only 21. I was warned against running for that married life but I thought I knew better. However, I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay in a toxic relationship where you cry often or being beaten. Do not allow violence in your relationship.

Because this was her experience:

There was violence when I was with Ben Gatu. I first shared it with my friends and when it became too much, I ran to my father and asked for forgiveness because I did not listen to him.

Unfortunately, this was that time in life when parents let their children experience the hot waters of life to learn practical lessons, rather than through consistent word of mouth.

 

But just like the prodigal son, her dad welcomed her back into his arms soon after she returned home repentant.

He is a father, he sat me down and asked me what my plan is after what I went through and asked me what I’ll do now that I was going to be a mother. Find a father figure for your child. I would not advise a single mother to be confident in that because there is something a child will be missing. Even if you’re not with your baby daddy.

Diana Marua and hubby, Bahati had no intention of revealing their baby’s face to the public, soon after his birth, like many would expect.

In Feb 2019, Weezdom exited Bahati’s EMB records in a bitter fallout and joined DJ Sadic’s “Genius Records”.

However, he hardly had enough time to get grow into the lucrative industry before calling it quits.

It becomes more dramatic because he left Genius records for his former boss’ Bahati’s EMB record label.

Just last week, Bahati launched his new studios alleging the move is to fulfill promises he made to God and to Kenyans to see young talents grow and sign new artistes at EMB.

Wendy Waeni’s former manager ‘Joe’ finally arrested

Gymnast Wendy Waeni’s former manager Joe Mwangi has finally been arrested just a few days after Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti issued a warrant of arrest against him.

This is after Joe Mwangi was said to be threatening Waeni’s mum, Magdalene Mbele and even went on to forge a letter pretending to be from a Cabinet Secretary threatening Waeni’s mum.

Through their official twitter page the DCI said;

“Mr Joseph Mwangi Nduta alias Joe is in our custody. He will be charged appropriately once necessary police process is complete. We thank everyone that shared information on his whereabouts,”

Joe’s arrest comes a few weeks after Wendy Waeni exposed exposed Joe him for misusing her money and refusing to be transparent with the amount she had been making.

Wendy’s former manager however claims that Waeni’s mum has been misusing the money on alcohol.

Ms Mbele on the other hand came out to brush off Joe’s accusations saying;

“I’m a staunch Christian, I have never had alcohol in my life, my daughter can attest to that. Joe Mwangi is a liar and a fraud that is why it was best fit that he no longer manages my daughter,”

She went on to add saying;

“He received money from politicians in the name of my daughter; he got Sh.140,000 from Raila Odinga and only gave me Sh.30,000,”

It was just 6 days ago when Mr Seed launched his record label studios and 3 days later Bahati unleashed his too.

Whether the two rival territories are in competition or whether it was merely coincidence, only them can tell.

Mr Seed ditched EMB records to start his own venture, Starborn Empire to allegedly give an opportunity to young talents to grow their skills at EMB.

However, this didn’t augur well with his former boss and gospel industry’s biggest competitor, Bahati who fired back with money scandals.

Mr Seed seemingly did not take it to heart and kept his cool, calling Bahati his ‘brother’. Now he is making slow money moves after launching his ‘Starborn Empire studios’ just last week.
