Tanzanian singer Ibrahim Abdallah Nampunga, popularly known as Ibraah, has called out his former boss Harmonize, accusing him of continuing to involve his name in online publicity moves despite their fallout at Konde Music Worldwide.
In an Instagram Story shared on Sunday, June 14, 2026, the singer, who was previously signed under Harmonize’s Konde Gang label, claimed that tensions between the two have continued even after his departure from the music outfit.
Ibraah questioned why his name keeps appearing in online discussions and alleged publicity strategies linked to Harmonize.
“My man Konde Boy, in your publicity stunts please avoid involving my name. My advice to you is just focus on your work,” Ibraah wrote.
The “Sumu” hitmaker further claimed that Harmonize had blocked him but still continued to mention him in conversations and online narratives.
He urged his former boss to move on and focus on his own career, saying he has already moved forward from the issues surrounding Konde Gang.
“Quit the stunts and all the talking. You have blocked me, but I wonder if that is still not enough. Stop dragging my name into your issues and focus on your music,” he added.
Diamond Platnumz’s Role in Ibraah’s Exit
Separately, Ibraah previously addressed claims that Diamond Platnumz played a role in his decision to leave Konde Music Worldwide.
Speaking during an interview in April 2026, the singer dismissed claims that Diamond was trying to weaken Harmonize’s label, explaining that his relationship with the Wasafi boss was based on personal support rather than rivalry.
Ibraah said that while fans often create narratives around Diamond’s actions, his own experience was different because he saw Diamond as someone who helped him during a difficult stage in his career.
“When we talk about fans, even Diamond’s fans sometimes speak on his behalf. But when I talk about Diamond, I speak of him as someone who helped me during a time when things were hard for me until things got better,” he said.
He explained that Diamond’s support came at a time when he was facing challenges within the label and helped him transition into an independent career.
According to Ibraah, leaving the label allowed him to have greater control over his music and earnings.
“The great thing about the help Diamond gave me is that now, as a solo artiste not under any label, whatever small earnings I get from music are mine,” he said.
The singer added that Diamond’s influence and experience in the industry enabled him to recognise the struggles he was facing and offer assistance that helped him continue pursuing his dreams.
