Harmonize Speaks On Eviction Over Rent Arrears, As He Relocates

Bongo Flava star Harmonize has addressed rumors surrounding his residency, confirming that he has indeed been evicted from his palatial mansion due to unpaid rent. In a characteristically candid series of Instagram posts, the Konde Gang president revealed he is moving to a new home in Goba, situated about 30 kilometers from Dar es Salaam.

Embracing the Debt

Rather than hiding the financial struggle, the “Amelowa” hitmaker used the moment to connect with his fans, stating that he has never been afraid of debt or the ups and downs of life.

“Yess wadau kama mlivyosikia kwamba nadaiwa kodi ya nyumba… imebidi nifungashe,” (Yes stakeholders, as you heard, I owe house rent… I had to pack up), he stated. He went on to offer encouragement to others in similar situations: “Usirudi nyuma, usijali hata Konde Boy anadaiwa.” (Don’t hold back, don’t worry, even Konde Boy has debts.)

The “Zero” Balance Sheet

Harmonize detailed a massive financial overhaul he has undertaken over the last three years, listing five major debts totaling over 1.4 billion TZS that he has successfully cleared. He admitted that settling these obligations—including 600M for his former label and a 100M debt to Dr. Jembe—left him with “barely anything.”

“In 3 years, I have got nothing!! Yani Zero,” he noted, explaining that his heavy investment in his own label surpassed 1 billion TZS.

Assets vs. Liabilities

Despite the rent arrears, Harmonize was quick to point out that his net worth remains substantial. He cited a luxury car collection worth over 2 billion TZS, property holdings valued at 4 billion TZS, and a music catalog worth upwards of $5 million. The singer maintained that if he chose to sell his assets, he would be entirely debt-free, but he is currently focused on improving his financial literacy.

A Support System and a New Collab?

The artist took a moment to thank his partner, Frida Kajala, for standing by him during the transition and agreeing to move with him to Goba.

In what many fans suspect is a teaser for a new project, Harmonize also shared a video of a chance meeting with fellow artist Kusah at a local shop during a downpour. By praising Kusah’s wife, actress Aunty Ezekiel, and showing camaraderie with the singer, Harmonize has sparked speculation that a new collaboration is in the works to mark this new chapter of his career.

Ibraah reveals how Diamond’s mewntorship helped him deal with exiting Harmonize’s Konde Gang

Tanzanian singer Ibraah has addressed claims surrounding his exit from Konde Gang, clarifying the role played by Diamond Platnumz in his decision to leave the label.

Speaking in an interview on Saturday, April 11, 2026, Ibraah dismissed widespread speculation that Diamond influenced his departure or sought to weaken Konde Gang. Instead, he offered a different perspective based on his personal experience.

Setting the Record Straight

Ibraah explained that public perception is often shaped by fans who speak on behalf of artists, sometimes creating narratives that may not reflect reality. In contrast, he described Diamond as someone who supported him during a difficult period in his career.

“When we talk about fans, even Diamond’s fans sometimes speak on his behalf. But when I talk about Diamond, I speak of him as someone who helped me during a time when things were hard for me until things got better,” he said.

Support During a Difficult Transition

The singer revealed that at a time when he was struggling within the label, Diamond stepped in and offered assistance that helped him transition into an independent artiste.

According to Ibraah, the support he received allowed him to pursue his music freely and earn directly from his work without being tied to a record label.

“The great thing about the help Diamond gave me is that now, as a solo artiste… whatever small earnings I get from music are mine,” he said, adding that the intervention helped him stay on track with his dreams.

Legal Help and Career Freedom

One of the most significant forms of support, Ibraah disclosed, was assistance in securing legal representation. As he prepared to leave Konde Gang, Diamond helped him find a lawyer, making the transition smoother and more structured.

He emphasised that this kind of support was invaluable, especially coming from an established figure in the industry who understood the challenges he was facing.

No Signing Talks

Despite their close association, Ibraah also addressed ongoing speculation about joining Diamond’s label. He clarified that the two have never held discussions about a possible signing.

“People kept asking me why Diamond has not signed me… but this is business. When he feels like signing me, he will,” he said.

He maintained that while fans often expect such a move, decisions of that nature are purely business-driven and should happen at the right time, if at all.

Grateful for the Support

Ibraah concluded by noting that the help he received from Diamond was significant—arguably more impactful than being signed to his label. He credited the Bongo Flava star for stepping in when he needed guidance most, allowing him to move forward independently and with greater control over his career.

Harmonize and Kajalah all loved up as she throws surprise birthday party for him

Harmonize received a heartfelt birthday surprise from his girlfriend Frida Kajala, who marked the occasion with a romantic gesture and a touching public message celebrating the singer.

Kajala organised a special surprise for the “Single Again” hitmaker before sharing an emotional tribute online, expressing her love and appreciation for him. The gesture quickly attracted attention from fans across social media.

In her message, Kajala described Harmonize as more than just a public figure, saying that to her he represents peace, love and an important part of her life.

“Happy Birthday my love. To the world you are Harmonize… but to me you are my heart, my peace, my everything. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve grown… lakini upendo wetu bado unasimama strong kuliko yote,” she wrote.

She went on to wish the singer a long life, endless happiness and continued success, adding that her love for him is rooted not in his fame but in the person he is to her.

“Nakupenda kwa dhati… si kwa sababu ya wewe ni nani kwa dunia, bali kwa sababu ya wewe ni nani moyoni mwangu. You make love feel beautiful, real and safe,” Kajala added in the message written in a mix of English and Swahili.

The emotional tribute reflected the strong bond between the two, with Kajala praising Harmonize not only for his musical achievements but also for the role he plays in her personal life.

Fans quickly filled social media with reactions, with many praising the romantic gesture while sending birthday wishes to the Tanzanian star. Others applauded Kajala for openly expressing her affection and prayers for the musician’s future.

Harmonize, who remains one of East Africa’s most influential artists, continues to enjoy strong support from fans across the region. Kajala’s message suggested that beyond the celebrations and fame, the singer’s birthday was also a moment to reflect on love, gratitude and the journey they share together.

Harmonize forced to pay his ex-wife Sarah Michelloti Kshs 7 mill in divorce settlement

Harmonize has revealed that he paid his Italian ex-wife Sarah Michelotti €50,000 (about KSh 7.5 million) as part of an out-of-court divorce settlement, bringing an end to a long-running dispute between the former couple.

The singer disclosed the payment while speaking about the breakdown of their relationship and the legal battle that followed their separation. According to Harmonize, the issue had dragged on for several years after their breakup and eventually reached the courts before both families decided to resolve the matter amicably.

Ending a Long Legal Dispute

Harmonize explained that lawyers became involved after disagreements between the two sides intensified. However, a meeting between both families later led to a decision to settle the matter outside court.

During the discussions, the parties agreed that paying €50,000 would resolve the dispute and allow both sides to move forward.

The artist said the settlement helped bring closure to the conflict, emphasizing that maintaining peace was more important than prolonging legal battles.

A High-Profile Relationship

Harmonize, whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali, married Sarah Michelotti in 2019. Their relationship attracted significant attention across East Africa due to the cross-continental romance between the Tanzanian musician and the Italian entrepreneur.

The couple held both an Islamic wedding and a white wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family.

However, the marriage was short-lived. By 2020, the relationship had collapsed amid allegations of infidelity and growing tensions between the two. The separation quickly turned public, with disputes over finances and property reportedly contributing to the legal fight that followed.

Life After the Divorce

Since the breakup, Harmonize has continued to remain one of the most influential artists in East Africa’s music industry.

The singer, known for hit songs and collaborations across the region, has also attracted media attention for his personal life, including his on-and-off relationship with Tanzanian actress and socialite Fridah Kajala Masanja.

With the €50,000 settlement now reportedly paid, the long-standing dispute between Harmonize and his former wife appears to have finally been resolved, allowing both to move forward after years of legal and personal tensions.

Harmonize Officially Proposes To Kajala Frida In Emotional Tribute

In a moment that has sent shockwaves of joy through the East African entertainment scene, Bongo Flava superstar Harmonize has officially put a ring on it. On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the singer confirmed his proposal to long-time partner Kajala Frida, marking a definitive turning point in a relationship that has survived more headlines, breakups, and public scrutiny than perhaps any other in the region.

The proposal was accompanied by a deeply vulnerable message where Harmonize credited Kajala for his evolution from a restless hitmaker to a grounded “gentleman.” He spoke at length about how his love for her has acted as a mirror, forcing him to love himself more and focus on his professional progress. He noted that his drive to accumulate wealth and success is no longer just about fame, but about the responsibility of taking care of the woman he now proudly calls “MKEWANGU” (My Wife).

“UPENDO & HESHIMA Ninayokupa Vinanirudia,” he shared.

He further explained that the love and respect he pours into her ultimately returns to him tenfold.

Beyond the romance, Harmonize highlighted a significant shift in his character, noting that he now evaluates his every word and action because he understands that he no longer represents just himself. He credited Kajala for “building” him, stating that the respect he commands today is a direct result of her influence on his life. This newfound discipline has translated into his career, where he describes himself as “breaking through” bit by bit with a clearer sense of purpose. By calling this proposal his “final card,” Harmonize signaled to the world that his days of playing the field are officially over.

Reflecting on their complex, decade-long history, the singer marveled at how their bond has remained resilient despite the passage of time and their high-profile split in years past. The couple, who famously rekindled their romance in December 2025 after a long hiatus, seem to be viewing this new chapter with fresh eyes.

“10 YEARS LATER STILL FEELS LIKE WE ARE STARTING,” Harmonize remarked, ending his tribute with a promise never to take her loyalty and trust for granted.

As the “Konde Boy” prepares to transition from fiancé to husband, fans are already anticipating what will undoubtedly be one of the most talked-about weddings in Tanzanian history.

‘Keep Your Advice To Yourselves’- Harmonize Urges Fans As He Re-Unites With Kajala

“Konde Boy” is officially off the market again. Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Harmonize has confirmed that his relationship with long-time partner Fridah Kajala is not only back on but stronger than ever.

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, Harmonize took to Instagram to share a glimpse into their “fresh chapter,” posting a video of the couple during an intense workout session. Accompanied by the caption;

“My daily inspiration @kajalafrida,” the post signaled a deep level of commitment following their high-profile reconciliation.

The Zanzibar Reunion

The couple’s latest comeback began during the 2025 festive season. They were first spotted getting cozy at a Christmas Eve party in Zanzibar. Viral videos from the event showed an emotional Harmonize serenading Kajala before the two shared a public kiss, confirming to fans that the “on-and-off” duo had decided to give love another try.

Their relationship has been one of the most tumultuous in the East African entertainment scene.

Why This Time Feels Different

While skeptics point to their history of breakups, the current vibe suggests a more grounded approach. By focusing on fitness and mutual inspiration, the couple appears to be moving away from the “lavish gift-giving” phase and toward a lifestyle-oriented partnership.

Whether this “fresh chapter” leads to the altar or another social media unfollowing remains to be seen, but for now, the Konde Gang leader is clearly smitten.

Moving On

Harmonize has recently declared that his love for Kajala will no longer fade away. He urged their fans not to poke their noses into their business, adding that they should keep their advice to themselves. He explained that the kind of advice they give especially to Kajala, really confuses her. Harmonize futher maintained that he is looking forward to doing life entirely with Kajala.

Pritty Vishy Leaks Private Chats Hitting On Harmonize, Citing Heartbreak Over His Reunion With Kajala

Kenyan socialite and digital creator Pritty Vishy has once again captured the internet’s attention after leaking alleged private messages between her and Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Harmonize.

The leaked conversations, shared on January 8, 2026, reveal Vishy confronting the Single Again hitmaker about his recent high-profile reconciliation with his long-term partner, Frida Kajala.

Heart-broken Vishy

In the screenshots shared on her Instagram, Vishy didn’t hold back her feelings, jokingly claiming that Harmonize’s choice to return to Kajala was a personal slight against her. She pointed out the often-discussed physical resemblance between herself and the singer as a reason why they should be together.

“Hey, Harmo, you have really broken my heart. Why did you reconcile with Kajala? I thought that because we have similar facial features, you would choose me,” part of her message read.

Vishy went a step further, playfully “cursing” the reunion in hopes of getting her own chance: “I pray that you separate again so that I can get a chance to win over your heart.”

The Harmonize-Kajala Wedding

Vishy’s outburst comes in the wake of Harmonize’s dramatic New Year’s Eve proposal. On December 31, 2025, Harmonize reportedly went down on one knee during a luxurious yacht party, officially proposing to Kajala for the third time.

The couple, whose relationship has been a rollercoaster of breakups and public scandals, appears to be heading for the altar in what fans are already calling the “HK2026” wedding. This latest reconciliation follows a turbulent 2025, where Kajala had previously vowed never to forgive the singer after allegations involving her daughter and claims of Harmonize’s infidelity.

Vishy’s Bold Start to 2026

For Pritty Vishy, the move is another example of her bold online persona. Following her recovery from multiple cosmetic surgeries in late 2025—including a BBL and liposuction—the influencer seems determined to stay at the center of the entertainment conversation.

While Harmonize has not publicly responded to the leaked “DMs,” the socialite’s fans are divided, with some praising her confidence and others labeling the move as a desperate “clout-chasing” stunt.

A Turbulent Love Story

The timeline of Harmonize and Kajala’s relationship has been a rollercoaster of grand gestures and public heartbreaks. The duo first went public shortly after Harmonize’s split from his Italian wife, Sarah Michelotti back in 2021. Konde Boy immediately became known for showering Kajala with luxury gifts and public displays of affection.

In mid-2022, the couple appeared to have reached a peak when Harmonize proposed during a private ceremony. However, the engagement was short-lived, with Kajala announcing a definitive split by December 2022.

A Second Chance in Zanzibar?

The latest developments in Zanzibar have led many to believe that the “Konde Gang” President is ready to take things to the next level once again. Witnesses reported seeing the pair traveling together exclusively following his performance, fueling intense speculation that a second proposal may be imminent.

Fans are divided on the news; while some celebrate the enduring connection between the two, others remain wary of the couple’s history of “on-again, off-again” drama.

Balancing Music and Romance

As Harmonize continues to scale his music empire under his label, Konde Music Worldwide, his personal life remains as much of a draw for fans as his chart-topping hits. If the rumors of a second engagement prove true, it will mark one of the most resilient, albeit rocky, romances in the East African entertainment industry.

For now, all eyes are on the couple to see if they will officially confirm their status or if this Zanzibar getaway was simply a brief chapter in their ongoing saga.

Hawa ni twins? Kenyans compare Pritty Vishy to Harmonize

Kenyan digital creator Pritty Vishy has finally weighed in on the flood of online comments comparing her looks to Tanzanian music star Harmonize.

The influencer addressed the trend in a light-hearted Instagram post after days of memes, side-by-side edits and jokes circulating across social media.

Viral Look-Alike Claims Take Off

The comparison began after new photos and videos of Pritty Vishy surfaced online, prompting amused users to claim she shares striking similarities with the Konde Gang CEO.

In response, Pritty Vishy posted a picture of herself with a playful caption:

“Look alike wa harmonize_tz wananifananisha sana na wewe,” she wrote, adding laughing emojis. She joked that if Harmonize doesn’t see himself in some of her photos, then maybe she’s the one who resembles him more than he resembles himself.

Some fans even branded her “Konde girl,” a humorous spin on Harmonize’s popular nickname.

Fans Flood the Comments

Her post triggered an immediate wave of reactions.

A section of fans enthusiastically agreed with the comparison, saying they had also noticed the resemblance. Others argued that the two only look alike at certain angles or during specific facial expressions.

“Huyu sasa ndio Konde girl,” one follower commented.

Many fans praised Pritty Vishy for taking the banter in stride and laughing along with the jokes rather than dismissing the chatter. Some even tagged Harmonize, urging him to acknowledge the running joke.

East Africa’s Look-Alike Culture

The buzz adds to a growing trend in East Africa’s online culture, where celebrity look-alike conversations frequently go viral.

Over the years, fans have highlighted unexpected resemblances among influencers, musicians, actors and comedians—often pairing photos side-by-side to prove their point.

Social media enthusiasts love drawing these comparisons, and scientists have long claimed that everyone has at least three look-alikes somewhere in the world. Judging by the reactions, Pritty Vishy and Harmonize might have just confirmed the theory for their fans.

Platforms like TikTok, Instagram and X continue to amplify these playful moments, turning them into viral talking points across the region.

Kajala Recounts Painful Revelation During Her Relationship With Harmonize

A past video featuring celebrated Tanzanian actress Kajala Frida has resurfaced online, drawing renewed attention to her tumultuous relationship with ex-boyfriend, singer Harmonize. In the candid interview, Kajala makes a shocking revelation: Harmonize once sent inappropriate photos directly to her daughter, Paula Kajala, a disclosure that deeply impacted their relationship.

“He sent those photos to my daughter. That really broke me,” Kajala stated emotionally in the interview.

Despite the passage of time since the incident and their subsequent separation, Kajala admitted that the memory remains profoundly painful to revisit.

The End of a High-Profile Romance

Kajala shed further light on the reasons behind her highly publicized split from Harmonize during a previous appearance on Mambo Mseto. She indicated that Harmonize’s behavior suggested a gradual loss of respect and a tendency to take their relationship for granted.

“When someone gets too used to you, they stop valuing you. I don’t blame him — he’s still young,” she explained in Swahili, adding that Harmonize “may have needed space and maturity to focus on other things in life.” The insinuation was that Harmonize’s immaturity and actions, including the distressing incident involving Paula, ultimately led to the demise of their romance.

Co-Parenting and Unexpected Friendships

Beyond the Harmonize saga, Kajala also spoke openly about her earlier relationship with veteran music producer P-Funk Majani, who is Paula’s father. She clarified that despite having a child together, they were never officially married. Their relationship, which began when they were both young, eventually dissolved due to misunderstandings and a mutual lack of maturity at the time.

“At that time, I was still young. Even he still had childish minds,” she reflected.

Despite their separation, Kajala expressed gratitude for having been able to raise Paula herself. “I’m thankful he left Paula for me. We’re fine. We cooperate in education,” she affirmed, highlighting their successful co-parenting efforts, even if direct communication between them is infrequent. Paula typically acts as the intermediary, reaching out to her father when necessary.

Perhaps the most surprising revelation was Kajala’s close bond with P-Funk Majani’s current wife. “His wife is my partner. We talk a lot. We are really friends. She is good at telling stories and chatting. I may not have spoken to P for several months or years, but we talk to his wife,” Kajala revealed, underscoring a harmonious extended family dynamic, despite the complexities of her past relationships.

From Stage to Statehouse: Harmonize Declares Bid for Tandahimba MP Seat

Tanzanian music star Rajab Abdul Kahali, better known as Harmonize, has officially announced his intention to run for Member of Parliament for Tandahimba constituency in the upcoming General Election.

In a statement shared on Instagram, the award-winning artist said he is ready to transition from entertainment to public service. His declaration comes years after the late President John Pombe Magufuli publicly encouraged him to consider a political career.

“Now I’m ready Tandahimba MP kwa masilahi mapana ya Tandahimba. RIP Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, Rais wa awamu ya tano,” Harmonize posted.

Reflecting on the late president’s earlier endorsement, Harmonize said the current administration, under President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has effectively carried forward Magufuli’s development agenda — creating the right conditions for him to fulfill that vision.

“Hakika moyo wako utakuwa na faraja sana… Rais Samia Suluhu Hassan ametekeleza mipango na miradi yenu yooooote na mingine mingi ndani ya muda mchache. Kama taifa tumekubaliana October tuna ✔ chama changu cha Mapinduzi @ccmtanzania kikinipa ridhaa nipo tayari kuikamilisha hii ndoto yako,” he wrote.

The singer’s political journey traces back to 2020, when he caught the attention of President Magufuli during a campaign rally. After watching Harmonize perform a special remix of his hit song “Kwangwaru” — retitled “Magufuli” in honor of the president — the late leader praised the artist’s dedication and suggested he vie for the Tandahimba seat.

“I really commend Harmonize. Where is he from? Tandahimba? Who’s the MP there? I’d love to see Harmonize contest that seat. He’s such a hardworking young man,” Magufuli said at the time.

Harmonize is expected to seek nomination from the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), as he prepares to take his ambitions from the music charts to the parliamentary chambers.

Harmonize Responds to Ibraah’s Allegations, Denies “Private Room” Claims

Harmonize has broken his silence following explosive claims made by his former signee Ibraah, who alleged that Harmonize once lured him into a private room with questionable intentions.

In a video posted to his Instagram on Thursday, May 15, 2025, Harmonize firmly denied the allegations, expressing shock and disappointment that Ibraah would resort to such accusations.

“It hurts,” Harmonize said. “He claimed I took him into a private room and told him to disrespect his own mother. That’s not just heartbreaking—it’s damaging to my image. I never expected him to sink to that level.”

The Ujana hitmaker admitted the accusations had deeply affected him, especially knowing that some people might take Ibraah’s word at face value.

“I know there are people who might believe it, but just like a parent doesn’t cut off their hand when their child soils it, I won’t turn against him,” he said.

Despite the fallout, Harmonize insisted he holds no grudge. He said he had left the matter in God’s hands, forgiven Ibraah, and harbored no need for an apology.

“I’ve already forgiven him,” he said. “I’m praying for him. I don’t need an apology from him. If he feels he should apologise to those who heard what he said, that’s up to him. But the real apology should go to God.”

He also emphasized that Konde Gang remained open to Ibraah, despite their differences.

“I have no issue with him. He’s still my brother, and Konde Gang will always be his home.”

How the Feud Escalated

The drama began on Sunday, May 11, 2025, after Ibraah lashed out at Harmonize following an Instagram tirade in which Harmonize accused him of betrayal, disloyalty, and arrogance.

At the center of the dispute was Ibraah’s desire to leave Konde Gang. He claimed he was being asked to pay Ksh48 million (around TSh1 billion) to exit the label—an amount he found excessive.

In a fiery response, Ibraah hinted that Harmonize’s reasons for keeping him under contract may have gone beyond business, accusing him of previously trying to lure him into a private room with unclear intentions.

“I know your goal is to make sure I lose everything so I crawl back for help—and you pull the same move again like you did the first time,” Ibraah wrote. “But I’m not food, bro. I’m a street guy.”

However, Ibraah later took a more conciliatory tone, acknowledging Harmonize’s impact on his career.

“You helped me a lot, Brother Konde. I’ll never forget that,” he said.

As the dust settles, the public feud between the two artists has left fans divided, with many waiting to see whether the once-close collaborators can repair their fractured relationship.

Konde Gang Music Suspends Ibraah Amid Allegations of Disrespect Towards Harmonize

Tanzanian record label Konde Gang Music Worldwide, owned by renowned artist Harmonize, has officially suspended its artist Ibrahim Abdallah Nampunga—known professionally as Ibraah—from all musical activities.

According to an official statement, the suspension will remain in place until a resolution is reached in line with Ibraah’s contract and Tanzanian law.

Suspension Linked to Alleged Disrespect

The disciplinary action stems from Ibraah’s alleged behavior, which the label has deemed disrespectful to Harmonize, its founder and CEO. Konde Gang has made it clear that during this suspension, Ibraah is not permitted to release new music, perform, or engage in any musical ventures covered under his contract.

Additionally, he is prohibited from making public statements or social media posts related to the dispute. The label emphasized that any remarks intended to damage the reputation of Konde Gang or its director Harmonize are strictly forbidden.

BASATA Steps In

Amid growing public interest and media coverage, the National Arts Council of Tanzania (BASATA) has stepped in to mediate. Both Harmonize and Ibraah have been summoned to appear before the council on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

Though BASATA has not released the specific agenda of the meeting, it is expected to serve as a platform for reconciliation and legal clarification, aimed at resolving the dispute for the betterment of the artists and the wider Tanzanian music industry.

A Fractured Relationship

Ibraah was signed to Konde Gang Music in 2020 as the label’s first artist, and their relationship has seen a mix of successful collaborations and reported friction.

In 2022, Ibraah acknowledged the label’s efforts in managing his career but hinted that he would consider leaving if contractual obligations were not met. The tension grew more visible in 2023 when Ibraah released “Hapa” following a year-long hiatus, subtly referencing professional struggles. Despite Harmonize promoting the track on social media, signs of strain remained.

Now, with Ibraah’s suspension and a high-stakes BASATA meeting looming, the future of his association with Konde Gang—and the implications for both parties—hangs in the balance.

Harmonize Addresses Rumors of Rekindled Romance with Kajala

Harmonize has spoken out about speculation that he has reunited with his ex-girlfriend, actress Fridah Kajala Masanja.

Rumors of a possible reconciliation began swirling weeks ago, fueled by claims that Harmonize had bought Kajala a brand new Range Rover Defender. The chatter intensified after Kajala was recently seen with the luxury vehicle.

Speaking to entertainment journalists during a birthday celebration for Marioo and Paula’s daughter — Paula being Kajala’s daughter — Harmonize acknowledged the rumors but dismissed any suggestion of a romantic reunion.

“I’ve seen people saying we’re back together, but it’s not true. I’ve never said that, and neither has she,” he clarified. “We’re adults, and we’ve each been living our separate lives. There’s no going back.”

Despite denying the rumors, Harmonize declined to explain why he referred to himself as a “grandfather” to Paula and Marioo’s child — a curious label, considering he had once referred to Paula as his daughter during his relationship with Kajala.

The speculation gained momentum after Harmonize hinted at gifting Kajala something meaningful — regardless of her relationship status — as a way to make up for what she lost during their highly publicized and controversial relationship.

“I have a lot of respect for Kajala,” he said. “By God’s grace, I’ll do something for her that she’ll never forget. Whether she’s married or not, it doesn’t matter.”

Harmonize also addressed his change in tone when speaking about Kajala, especially in contrast to the harsh lyrics of his previous song Dear Ex, which took aim at her.

“I always speak of Kajala with respect. First, she’s older than me, and second, I caused her to lose a lot when we were together. Even though we’re no longer a couple, she deserves to be respected — and I’ll always give her that,” he concluded.

Introducing Harmonize’s Rumored New Girlfriend

Tanzanian singer Harmonize is making headlines once again, this time for being linked to fellow artist Abigael Chams. The two have sparked dating rumors after Harmonize shared several social media posts showing them spending time together.

In the clips, the pair are seen enjoying themselves at a club, with Chams even feeding Harmonize in one of the videos. While Harmonize has previously expressed his preference for plus-size women, Chams stands out as a petite and stunning beauty.

Before the rumors with Chams, Harmonize’s most notable relationship was with Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala Msanja. Their highly publicized romance saw the two sharing intimate moments with fans online and making grand promises to each other.

However, their on-again, off-again relationship eventually came to an end when Kajala announced their breakup on social media.

“As a woman and a human being, I was created to love and forgive too, but in this situation, I deserve to be laughed at, belittled, and disdained. I’m not here to defend myself or seek sympathy; I know I made mistakes and have recognized them. I am not perfect,” Kajala said in her statement.

In a subsequent radio interview, Kajala shed light on the reasons behind the split.

We were very close—spending time together 24/7, going to the gym, doing everything together. Perhaps he needed his own space.”

Since their breakup, Kajala has chosen to keep her private life away from social media. She is currently enjoying her role as a grandmother after her daughter Paula recently welcomed a child.

Harmonize Explains Why Diamond Platnumz May Struggle to Win a Grammy

The rivalry between Harmonize and Diamond Platnumz over who will be the first to elevate Bongo Fleva music to global acclaim continues to intensify.

Harmonize recently took a swipe at Diamond for failing to secure a Grammy nomination this year, despite releasing internationally appealing tracks. Speaking to the press, Harmonize boldly proclaimed that he would be the first East African artist to win a Grammy Award.

In what seemed like a direct criticism of Diamond’s song Komasava—a track inspired by the French phrase “Comment ça va”—Harmonize dismissed the song as lacking the depth required for a Grammy win.

“Talking about the Grammys, let me say this: if you’re discussing Grammys, you’re speaking to the 2025/2026 Grammy winner,” Harmonize declared confidently. “You can’t win a Grammy just by greeting people in a song. It doesn’t work like that.”

Harmonize stressed the importance of originality and high-quality production, pointing out that Grammy judges prioritize musical excellence over fame. “The judges don’t care if you’re popular. It’s all about the quality of your work, not how famous you are in front of the cameras,” he said, asserting that he is prepared to land a nomination next year and ultimately bring home the award.

Harmonize’s remarks come shortly after Diamond addressed his fans’ disappointment over his absence from this year’s Grammy nominations. Despite the success of Komasava, a collaboration with Canadian artist Jason Derulo, the track failed to make the cut.

In response, Diamond urged his fans to view the setback as an opportunity to improve. “When we fail to achieve something, we shouldn’t be discouraged. Instead, we should analyze where we went wrong and improve,” he advised.

Diamond also acknowledged the possibility of lacking the necessary industry connections or failing to meet certain standards. However, he vowed to return to the studio and produce more impactful songs to boost his chances for next year’s Grammy race.

“For now, we’ll flood the world with hits. God willing, next year we’ll make it to the Grammys. And if not, we’ll keep pushing because I believe nothing is impossible,” Diamond concluded.

Bongo Flava star Rajabu Abdul Kahali Ibrahim, popularly known as Harmonize, has been ordered by the Tanzanian High Court to pay CRDB Bank Tsh113,185,755.16 (Ksh5.4 million) after defaulting on a loan. Judge Cleophas K. Morris, who presided over the case, noted that after reviewing all the evidence, the musician was found to be at fault. The court ordered Harmonize to pay the outstanding amount, along with 18% interest per annum from the date of default to the date of the judgment, and 7% interest on the total sum from the judgment date until full payment. Additionally, the court awarded the bank Tsh10,000,000 in general damages.

The case stems from a loan agreement made on October 10, 2019, in which CRDB Bank provided Harmonize with two credit facilities totaling Tsh300 million (Ksh14.2 million). The loans, intended to fund music equipment, a production studio, and promotional activities, were to be repaid within three years with an interest rate of 18% per annum. The agreement required Harmonize to channel all his business proceeds through a designated account.
