Eric Omondi’s baby mama Lynne Njihia discusses her difficult pregnancy and labour

Lynne Njihia has opened up about her challenging pregnancy, revealing that severe ulcers affected her health and ultimately led to premature labour.

Speaking candidly, Lynne recounted a difficult experience marked by pain, anxiety, and uncertainty about both her well-being and that of her baby.

Ulcers Triggered Early Labour

Lynne explained that her condition became overwhelming at times, saying the ulcers reached a point where they directly triggered her labour. The situation worsened gradually, making it difficult for her to eat properly or maintain a healthy routine throughout the pregnancy.

“Ulcers zilinisumbua to a point that triggered my labour,” she shared.

Delivered at Seven Months

In a revelation that surprised many, Lynne disclosed that she gave birth at just seven months—well before the typical full-term period.

She also reflected on the emotional impact of the experience, noting that it deepened her appreciation for her mother.

“Sikufika nine months… nilijifungua at seven months. Pregnancy yangu ilifanya nipende sana my mum,” she said.

Struggles With Nutrition and Health

Beyond the early delivery, Lynne spoke about the toll the ulcers took on her nutrition. She admitted to constant worry about not getting enough nutrients for both herself and her baby, as her appetite was heavily affected.

“Nilikuwa na stress because I wasn’t getting enough nutrients for my baby and me,” she revealed.

At one point, she also experienced physical changes, including a swollen face, which she linked to her overall health struggles during the pregnancy.

Life After Birth

Following the difficult pregnancy and premature birth, Lynne has focused on caring for her child while gradually rebuilding her health. She occasionally shares glimpses of her motherhood journey online, reflecting a more stable and positive phase.

Her baby continues to grow well, and Lynne appears to be embracing life as a young mother despite the challenges she faced at the start.
