Thicky Sandra Reveals “Being Broke” Is Her Biggest Fear

Sandra Mbuvi, widely known by her social media moniker Thicky Sandra, recently offered a candid glimpse into her financial anxieties during an appearance on Prince Newton’s podcast. The conversation, which delved into navigating economic constraints, saw Sandra openly declare her biggest fear as “being broke.”

During the segment, the podcast host posed a relatable scenario, asking about her go-to meal when she’s financially constrained but trying to maintain appearances. Sandra’s immediate response underscored the depth of her apprehension. As the daughter of former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, she reiterated her concern multiple times, simply questioning, “Broke?” and following up with, “That’s my biggest fear.”

The discussion clarified situations where one might not “have much funds to spend on some fancy restaurants,” a common challenge many face. The host further ensured clarity, confirming the context was indeed about not having enough funds to meet one’s immediate needs.

In detailing her approach to such a financial pinch, Sandra surprisingly pointed towards widely accessible and affordable fast-food options. “When I don’t have much funds, I’ll probably go for KFC or McDonald’s. They are cheap,” she stated, much to the surprise of the podcast host, given her generally perceived lavish lifestyle.

Sandra has gained a significant following in recent times due to her bold personality, engaging social media presence, and often-discussed lifestyle. She has frequently found herself making headlines for various reasons, including:

  • Addressing Body Shaming: She has openly spoken out against online critics who comment on her weight gain, asserting that she embraces her body and is confident in who she is.
  • Discussing Her Lifestyle: Sandra has shared intimate details about her daily routines, including her extensive showering habits, and has garnered attention for her notably extravagant bride price demands should she ever marry.
  • Being a “Boss’s Daughter”: As the child of a high-profile politician, she has frequently shared her unique perspective on navigating life in the public eye, including the inherent challenges and privileges, and how she strives to carve out her own identity distinct from her famous father’s legacy.

Mike Sonko’s daughter Sandra discusses growing up wealthy

Sandra Mbuvi, the daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, has said that money cannot bring true happiness. She debunked the misconception that a wealthy upbringing guarantees a trouble-free life, saying that she still faces challenges despite her privileged background.

Sandra also shared her thoughts on other topics, such as her first time riding a matatu, her dietary preferences, and her religious background. She revealed that she is half-Muslim and that she goes to town wearing a buibui. She also said that she does not eat ugali unless it is cooked with butter or Blueband.

Sandra’s dogs also made an appearance in her Q&A session, with one fan asking about their diet. Sandra shared a screenshot of their weekly menu, which includes scrambled eggs and fruits.

When asked about her political ambitions, Sandra said that she is not interested in joining politics, but that her sister Saumu Mbuvi may be interested. She also said that she makes her own money and does not rely on her father’s wealth.

Sandra earns her living through modeling. Her first contract was with the Range Rover brand, which paid her handsomely.

Overall, Sandra’s Q&A session gave a glimpse into her life and her thoughts on a variety of topics. She is a young woman who is not afraid to speak her mind, and she is not content to simply coast on her father’s wealth. She is determined to make her own way in the world and to achieve her own goals.

40 million reasons! Mike Sonko’s daughter defends him

Mike Sonko’s daughter, Thicky Sandra (her moniker on social media) has come out rather loudly and aggressively in his defence and why wouldn’t she not only is he her father but he is also super loaded so maybe he has twice the incentive to be twice as clear in his defence.

Yesterday he had shared a video in which use flossing 40 million Kenya Shillings in different denominations and currencies and Kenyans were quick to hold his feet to the fire asking which company owns that can have afforded in such wealth or which business he is engaged in that is so lucrative especially given how terrible Kenya’s economic health currently is.

On top of all that, Mike Sonko’s video was also filled with a lot of profanities which Kenyans were quick to say it was a clear sign he is still not a statesman. But his daughter Sandra jumped to his defence and said Kenyans are unaware of the types of pressure he is under that led to that particular video and she went on to straumann and say most Kenyans would have reacted even worse were there in the circumstances he is under.
