Zari Hassan’s South African reality show lands at Netflix

Netflix has swooped in to land a reality series about Zari Hassan and boy are we excited for the boss lady setting standards to allAfrican women.

The excited mother of 5 shared the good news through her social media pages where she introduced the new show dubbed, Young, famous and African. From the caption this show will be based on Zari’s life and those of her friends in Mzansi.

Being one who was married and divorced to a rich husband, there is so much fans are yet to learn about the boss lady; and what better way than a reality show that will allow fans to get to know Zari better.

Introducing the show through a poster shared on her page, Ms Zari wrote;

Born in Uganda. Flourishing in Mzansi. Now we’re taking over Netflix! See me bossing it up on @netflixsa and @naijaonnetflix’s first-ever African reality show, coming soon! #YoungFamousAndAfrican

The show, which is part of a larger, overall content and brand alliance will definitely feature Diamond Platnumz and other celebrities; meaning this is indeed a big show and obviously will take viewers inside Zarinah’s glamorous, stressful and high-speed personal and professional antics of the 40 year old mum.

Whenever Zari is in Tanzania, social media pages especially Instagram get flooded with her photos; but we always tend to see a difference between her normal photos and that from Paparazzi.

Of course this is because those taken by Paparazzi are raw unedited material; while the ones posted by the boss lady are from either Snapchat or a photo editor application.

Her recent visit to bongo has once again given fans a reason to talk mostly because the Zari seen in these pictures is different from the one we are used to. The new photos show an aging Zari – and expected Tanzanians had to step in and make use of this opportunity.

Although these photos tend to make the boss lady look different or rather old; word has it that she actually looks 20 years younger when you see her in person.

Most fans who have had the chance to mingle with her couldn’t let haters dim Zari’s light as most defended her beauty; saying those spreading the photos clearly have malicious agendas.

At this point we honestly cannot laugh at Zari or the posts shared by her teenage son, Raphael. Most parents will tell you that raising teenagers is quit hard but in this case; Raphael is driving his mother crazy!

A few months ago the young man came out to announce that he was gay; and blamed those raising him for lying that boys only date girls. This is after realizing that he finds guys more attractive; so yea, meaning he is not straight.

This post was however deleted really fast by his mum who later issued a statement saying that her son is straight; and if not she would fully support if he indeed turns out to be gay.

Well, like we said – this is not a laughing matter especially now that Raphael has once again shared a controversial post claiming he wants to work with pornstar, John Sin.

The 13 year old boy shared this in a QnA post which was later deleted; but thank heavens for screenshots. In the post a friend asks Raphael what he would want to be in future saying;

Okay, we get it that Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu will never get along; but hey, it’s been 5 years since their crazy drama that involved Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz – are they not tired? But who are women!

Anyway last week we had Zari blast Wema Sepetu in a comment where she trolled the Bongo actress for the weight loss; and for some reason – Ms associated the sudden weight loss to lack of food. Ouch.

Well… Zari being one who savagely pays back at those bad mouthing her; clearly she did not leave any room for Wema to clap back.

Zari Hassan distances herself from rumors linking her to Tanzanian baby Daddy

Rumor making rounds is that Diamond Platnumz who is in South Africa may be planning to get back with ex, Zari Hassan.

This was also indirectly confirmed by Romy Jones post where he bragged about being Zari’s in law; and in the comment section he was backed up by his bro, Diamond Platnumz who commented with a bomb emoji.

However Judging from Zari’s posts we understand that the only relationship she has with baby daddy; is that of two parents coparenting. The lady seems to have finally moved on – and the man she chose has the likes of Juma Lokole hating; but oh well – isn’t he paid to publicly hate a person on behalf of his bosses?

Zari Hassan’s life changed the minute she started dating and Diamond Platnumz. This is because her life was now exposed to ruthless Bongo fans who enjoy trolling and larking; just to keep their lives entertained!

Deapite breaking up with the Bongo star, Diamond Platnumz – the same fans refused to let go of Zari Hassan; as most continue to dig deeper into her life.

So far we understand Zari’s eldest sons still blame her for exposing their private lives to these people; and the latest victim happens to be Thee Black Stallion – who cannot stand the harassment he continues to suffer in the hands on these fans.

According to the fella, in a day he receives close to 30 messages; and I’m pretty sure most of them are usually about Diamond Platnumz and Zari getting back together in future. To caption the screenshot, Black Stallion wrote;

Boss Lady Zari Hassan is proud of son, Pinto Tlale. Apart from being a calm young man, we understand that Pinto is also smart (hence the many scholarships) and above all; Zari Hassan has always spoken highly of this young man she gave birth to back in 2003.

As seen on a new post shared by Ms Zarinah, we understand that Pinto will be celebrating his 18th birthday in August; and this being a new chapter for the young man – Zari (mum) feels that it’s also the best time to spoil him.

Through her IG stories the mother of 5 mentioned that Pinto’s good behavior; and selflessness has earned him the right to own a car. Although the boss lady does not mention what type of car she will be gifting Pinto, I can bet that it will be sleek. She wrote;

This Easter many couples decided to show off with their spouses on social media; and guess what, Zari Hassan and bae, black Stallion were not left behind either.

From Ms Zari’s post we understand that the couple took a short vacay with the boys while the younger kids stayed back home with their nannies. Goals.

Of course hiring a yatch is a big deal and Ms Zari and her boys could not stay quiet about it either. They all went wild by sharing a number of photos on social media; until Zari dropped her hot lingerie/swimsuit photo on Snapchat.

Judging from the photo Zari is seen wearing a matching green bra and panty; which has left many wondering whether this was swimsuit or a lingerie – since we can all spot Black stallion in the back with a towel around his waist.

With 3 boys back to back from her previous relationship with the late Ivan Don; Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan could not imagine a life without a baby girl who would at least take after her.

I mean the boys were okay – but having a girl in the house would just make everything better, right? Anyway, just like most mums with sons – Zari could not help but wish that someday she would have her own baby girl to bond with.

It may have taken time but, after meeting Singer Diamond Platnumz – ms Zari’s dream was finally fulfilled; as Simba gave her one of the cutest babies we have come to see on social media.

For some reason she made fans believe that the lovers day was one of her least favorite days; until the special 2021’s Valentines Day – where we finally met her new man.

It has not been easy for Mzee Juma Abdul who been making headlines since Friday all thanks to Mama Dangote. This is after Ricardo Momo and Mama Diamond revealed that Mzee Abdul is not Bongo singer,Diamond Platnumz biological father.

With the revelation – many could not believe their ears or understand why the family decided to pull such a move; years after making everyone look down on the old man for allegedly neglecting his son.

For a minute, Mzee Juma was hated on social media; and fans could not stand the fact that even after abandoning his son, he now wanted financial help. January has not been an easy month for bosslady Zari Hassan thanks to her 13 year old son, Raphael Junior. This is after the young man went on an IG live session to declare that he was only attracted to fellow boys.

Judging from the video, the young man is heard talking about having been taught that women are for men; but having soul searched, he discovered that he is different.

This move however cost both him; and his family as social media fans rushed in to get more tea from the minor. His mother however tried to fix the mess by claiming her son is not who he claims to be; as he already has a girlfriend. But went on to add that just in case he turned out gay – she would then support him no matter what.

Raphael asks for peace of mind

Well, as you all know Tanzanians in social media can be quite aggressive even when it comes to bullying; and thanks to a post shared by Raphael, we have every reason to believe his DM is overflowing with messages from Tanzanians and others.

According to a Tanzanian news outlet, they suspect that after Raphael announcement may have triggered online ‘Uncles’ who are now proud of Raphael’s decision of being different.

Of course this was bound to happen sooner or later; hence Zari’s bitter live session where she went on to shield her son. This is probably because she understood the damage he may have caused; and judging from his latest post where he wrote;

Zari reveals why Tanzanian women are to blame for ‘making’ her son gay

Zari Hassan earlier today had a live session to discuss about her son’s revelation on being a gay man. Judging from what Raphael said during his live session, one would have thought that the young man was looking for acceptance; and did not feel like hiding his identity.

In the live session Raphael opened up saying;

Personally I like boys, men….that’s just how it is! So if you wanna ask questions you can ask….I’m very serious…..yea I’m gay….100% gay dude

A confession that has left his mum explaining the whole situation on social media; but truth is, most fans feel that the 13 year old knew what he was saying.

However despite saying that her son Raphael is not gay, Zari seems to have all this figured out and now blames Bongo women for pushing her son that direction.

According to Zari, her son Raphael has been dealing with shameless women running into his DM where they leave nasty photos of their private parts; and others leave them rose videos and photos.

She went on to claim that for close to 3/4 years now her sons have become targets to these women; and probably Raphael’s confession may have been the best thing that her son ever did.

However, Zari now says that she is open to support her son whether he is gay or not; but 13 years old…Raphael has some discovering to do!

It must really be hard for Zari to explain why her son Raphael went on an Instagram live to declare that he is a gay man. Probably this was for fun and games; but judging from how fast the news has travelled on social media, let’s just say Zari is not having a good time.

Well on Wednesday night Raphael went on an Instagram live session which he captioned;

I’m coming out ????️‍????

and pinned;

don’t judge me

Of course it’s evident to see that the young man knew what he was saying; but it seems like Zari does not agree with the confession made by her son.

Just like any loving mother who would want to protect her children from online bullies and other characters; Ms Zari has finally spoken about her son coming out through his IG live session.

According to her, the young man did this to put off grown women who have been sending her son naked photos and others borrowing money from him. At least them knowing he is gay will keep them off his DM – an explanation many find hard to believe. Responding to fan concerning Raphael’s post Zari wrote;

He actually has a girlfriend amechoka natakataka kumtongoza dm. Wanawake wakubwa kumtumia uchiwao. Wengine kuomba omba dollar. Maybe it was a good thing to say he is gay. Now y’all will chill???? and leave him alone

Could be true or not…but as for now let’s see how things unfold from here.

Word making rounds on social media is that Zari Hassan’s son Raphael Junior is a member of the gay community. Not a rumor but something the young man went on to Instagram to announce on the night of Wednesday, 6th January.

According to several gossip tabloid ie the originaleast who managed to get a screenshot from the 60 seconds live session; we can clearly see that it was indeed Raphael’s IG page that has now been deactivated.

As seen on the screenshot, Raphael went on to publicly announce that he was coming out. He wrote;

I’m coming out ????️‍????

and just to make it clear that he was proud of the man he has since become; he went on to pin asking his followers not to judge him. He pinned;

from the screenshot above one can clearly see that the person seen on the camera Raphael; and since his IG is already deactivated it also means that his mum has taken all the electronic gadgets – to avoid more damage.

Well, being a minor we really can’t add more to this; but allow the family to handle it before they publicly address it.

Raphael is believed to be around 16 or 17 years since his brother will be turning 18 years pretty soon.

Is this a reincarnation?

Socialite cum business lady Zari Hassan has left tongues wagging on social media after unveiling a new photo of her grown up son; leaving many surprised and impressed at how fast the young man has grown.

Judging from his height, we can assure you that Zari’s first born son is a replica of his late dad, Don Ivan. Through her Instagram page the mother of 5 went on to share the never seen before photo which she captioned;

Heading to the store…. chips, snacks, chocolates, ice-cream, ice tea or cigarettes anyone?

It’s not just the body and height but also the eyes, mouth and nose that prove this young boy took after his father. What’s more surprising is that after taking a social media break, Zari’s son has returned with an undeniable resemblance to his late dad.

Zari Hassan once said that her son Nillan is a quite man who likes to do his ‘things’ in a particular way. Unlike big sister Tiffah who is bubbly and full of life like both her parents – her brother Nillan prefers stays away from the cameras.

Well time flies really fast and believe it or not it has since been 4 years since Zari and Diamond Platnumz we’re blessed with a son. However rumor had it that there were a few questions regarding Nillan’s paternity; Diamond Platnumz already confirmed the boy is his son and not the late Don Ssemwanga as alleged.

As time goes by, one can clearly see the resemblance between Diamond and son, Nillan – meaning Zari never cheated on the singer. Not just the lips and facial expression but Nillan also shares his fathers walking style.

Well, the young man turned a year older this past weekend; and judging from the comments left by fans – many can’t seem to believe how time flies so fast.

Zari Hassan has turned out to be Diamond Platnumz’ mother’s favorite and it is all clear during her stay in Tanzania before flying back to South Africa.

The two would occasionally sweetly embrace each other, laugh together, have good conversations, make memories together and even engage in a dance battle.

According to Esma Platnumz, Zari is an exceptional kind of woman who won the heart of the Dangote family with wifey duties including getting her hands dirty preparing a meal for the whole family.

Something that stood out about her unlike the Bongo star’s other baby mamas.

Well, to prove how tight Mama Dangote and Zari Hassan are, a recent video of the two tightly embraced in what looks like the airport before their evening flight, has surfaced.

Zari is dressed in sleeping pajamas, with her designer bag in hand and a sweater while her mum-in-law is simply dressed in a long floral dress.

A dear Zari is seen comforting Sandra, as they part ways to return to South Africa and a sad Mama Dangote wishes them well.

They slowly walk through the airport, locked in a warm embrace, seemingly unable to let go of each other.

“We will miss you more but we shall be back,” Zari Hassan comforts her mum-in-law.

You would easily mistake these two for mum and daughter with a bond too tight to break. Sandra’s husband, Rally Jones shared the adorable video of the two on Thursday as they parted ways.

Zari Hassan and Diamond Platnumz have had their share of drama on social media. Actually their break up became trending news in East Africa as many could not believe that she dumped the singer; just when fans were waiting to witness the biggest wedding in East Africa.

Just a few months into the break up and rumor had it that Zari had been asked to vacate the South African house Diamond Platnumz had bought for his kids. At the time Zari Hassan did not talk about the alleged issue but a few months after receiving the notice; Zari packed her bags and moved together with her kids.

When you look at the events it’s easy to say that the rumors claiming she had been kicked out were true; and the fact that she remained silent about the issue went on to confirm what gossip tabloids were reporting concerning her bitter break up with the singer.

Zari finally speaks

However this past weekend, the mother of 5 held a candid interview with Wasafi media where she got an opportunity to address the allegations.

To our surprise, the boss lady denied being kicked out or Diamond Platnumz denying her access to the property. According to Zari Hassan, at the time she was moving – the boss lady had already bought a house for herself; to avoid the silly comments from Diamond Platnumz fans asking her to vacate their house. She said;

I was at a point where I could afford to buy another house when people stared saying ooh toka kwa nyumba yetu, sijui nini. But Baba Tee has never told me to move out of that house. Even now he knows that am renting out that house and am taking rent money, because that house he bought it for the kids. It’s the only property they have in South Africa under his name, so I still get rent money form there.

Tiffah and brother Nillan left Tanzanian this past weekend; but little did Miss Zari’s Hassan know that her daughter would ask for her papa; barely 24 hours after moving back to their home in South Africa.

As seen on a video shared by mama Danagote, we now have every reason to believe that Tiffah is a daddy’s girl; and the bond between her and Diamond Platnumz remains unfulfilled due to the distance.

Apparently Tiffah woke up late at night and all she could think of is her dad. In the video shared on mama Dangote’s page, Tiffah is heard demanding for her papa; and just when many thought this was scripted the young girl broke down into tears making this serious.

This was however expected judging from the strong bond between Tiffah and her father not forgetting mama Dangote who ‘glues’ them together.

In the past few days we have watched Tiffah and her papa dominate Tanzania to a point of living Bongo journalists looking for words during the random paparazzi interviews. However looking at the video of Tiffah asking for her papa proves that parents sometimes contribute to ruining their kids peace by ‘co parenting.’

Following her arrival in Tanzania in early November, Zari Hassan has opened up on her love life, those that got messed up, those she is looking to mend and her expectations from Diamond Platnumz.

The Dangote family has proven that the Ugandan boss lady was one of their favorite in-laws from the Bongo star, with Mama Diamond publicly proving her love for the mother of 5.

Her expectations of Diamond Platnumz

However, Zari confessed that her breakup with Naseeb was difficult on the kids who she believes that no matter how strong she might be as a woman and a mother, she still needed the extra hand from her baby daddy.

“When Nillan and Tiffah would go to school in South Africa and meet their friends, their friends would always talk about mum and dad but for my kids, they kept asking about dad,” Zari opened up on Wasafi Media.

According to her however, she would love to see Diamond find a woman who can make him settle in life and that might not quite be her.

Admitting that she does not look to get married instead, get a life partner.

“It’s a bit scary for me now to get married, I prefer being a single mom. Life partner, yes, getting married, no,” she affirmed.

What of King Bae?

Zari and her rumored King bae’s relationship ended soon as it started, just after news of her new relationship with a mysterious South African businessman got to the limelight.

According to Zari, King Bae was a sweet soul but things did not go as expected. He had already formed a bond with her and her children and letting go was not easy for her.

However, she admitted she moved on, though King bae occasionally calls to know how the kids are doing.

“He was such a chilled guy but there are things that came up and things happened. Love makes you do crazy things,” she disclosed.

She talks of renting Diamond’s house in South Africa and letting her kids stay in Tanzania with their dad.

Lately Tanzanian sweetheart Wema Sepetu has been openeing up to reveal unknown information about her past relationship with Diamond Platnumz. According to the lady, she was sure that she would one day marry and settle down with the bongo singer; but because of Zari, this never happened.

Speaking during an interview with several media personalities including Juma Lokole; Wema for the first time opened up revealing the blood oath they made back in the day.

The blood oath was to seal their relationship which later broke due to Diamond Platnumz cheating ways. However looking at how the singer has been struggling to settle down for years; could be that the oath is still tying him.

Although she has left all this in the past; Wema Sepetu says that Diamond Platnumz broke her heart into pieces after giving Zari everything he had promised to give her (Wema).

So far we have seen both exchange bitter words on social media; and being one with fluent Swahili despite living in the US for years – I assure you Mange Kimambi uses this to her advantage. There is no Swahili insult she has not used on Zari and to some point fans are forced to intervene as it gets quite ugly.

Well, as much as the drama is unnecessary truth is they both benefit from it; knowing very well they are top media personalities. However sometimes fans wish they would just let this go as they both have kids who will one day come across their stories on social media.

According to the former socialite based in the US her only issue with Zari is that she has been faking her online life; making other fans feel inferior while all along she is as human as any other person.

Through her Instagram page the mother of two adorable boys wrote;
