Tallia Oyando Departs Citizen TV’s “One Love” After 8 Unforgettable Years

Kenya’s renowned reggae host, Tallia Oyando, popularly known as the “Night Nurse,” has announced her departure from Citizen TV’s One Love reggae show, which airs on Saturday nights.

After eight incredible years, Tallia shared the news through an emotional Instagram post on Monday, January 20, 2025, thanking her fans for their unwavering support and for making the show a beloved destination for reggae enthusiasts.

While Tallia didn’t disclose her next plans, she hinted at exploring new opportunities, saying:
“After 8 beautiful years of love, music, and family on One Love at Citizen TV, it’s time for a new chapter. Grateful for every one of you who made this journey unforgettable. Like Joseph Hill said, ‘Love shines brighter than the morning sun.’ This isn’t goodbye; greater things are ahead.”
