It seems that there is something hot coming from Nigerian singer Dbanj in collaboration with Ghana. The entertainer share photos from his meeting with Ghana president, Nana Akufo Addo. His caption reads: “‘It was an amazing meeting with the president of Ghana can’t wait to share with you all what’s coming. Content is the New Crude”.

Nigerian top entertainer, Dapo Oyebanji, known as D’banj, has taken a swing from music, into modeling and his first attempt doesn’t look bad at all.

The singer made his first runway appearance at the African Fashion International Week in South Africa. He made walked the runway in David Tale’s suit.

D’banj joins other models on runway.

The 38 year old singer is obviously not only good with vocals. He has other talents in his bag. Gradually, the world is therefore, being introduced to his other sides.

Dbanj rocks dreadlocks in Jamaica

Nigerian singer, Dbanj is currently is on a vacation in Jamaica. The singer is rocking dreadlocks and seems to be having great fun in a town called Ocho Rios.

Following the death of their son, Dbanj dedicates new song to his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow

Two months ago, the family of Dbanj were thrown into a deep agony as he lost his son, Daniel The Third. Friends, family and fans took their time to grieve with the pop star and Lineo Didi Kilgrow.

Following this death, the singer has just release a new song dedicated to his wife, title, Letter To My Wife.  The song expresses his love and commitment to her.

D’Banj is set to mount the stage again.

Since the demise of his son, popular Nigerian singer, D’Banj has stayed off public eye as well as social media activities. Speaking for the second time since the painful death, the singer has hinted at his upcoming performance.

Billed to perform, alongside JayZ, Beyonce, WIzkid and others at the Global Citizen Event, the singer is going to perform in December.

Sharing a poster of the event on his page, he wrote; “It is on us to end poverty”.

His fans and well-wishers are hoping that the singer would have snapped out of mourning before the event.

The Lagos State Police Command wishes to know the circumstances surrounding the death of D’banj’s son.

Following the tragic death of the son of singer, D’banj, David Oyebanjo III, the Lagos State Police Command, has through its PRO, issued and official statement.

Posted on the social media pages, the PRO, CSP Chike Oti on behalf of the Lagos State Police commissioner, Edgal Imohim commiserated with the singer. He however, added that they had paid a visit to his residence but didn’t meet anyone.

When the mourning is over, D’banj is requested to answer some questions, he said. According to him, the police would like to know the circumstances surrounding the death of the infant.

THE SUDDEN DEATH OF LITTLE DANIEL

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, on behalf of officers and men of Lagos State Police Command, wishes to commiserate with the family of Mr and Mrs Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo a.k.a D’BANJ @iambangalee on the death of their one year old son, Daniel(Jnr) Oyebanjo whose sad event took place yesterday 24/06/2018, at the Ikoyi-Lagos residence of the family.

The CP wants the family to know that at this period of their grief, the entire Command shares in their pain.

Although a delegation from the Command, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ikoyi Division, CSP Mustapha N’Abba, who were at the Ikoyi home of the Oyebanjos on a condolence visit did not meet anyone at home, it is expected that when the mourning period is over, the family will formally report the circumstances that led to the unfortunate death of little Daniel to the police. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Little Daniel drowned in the family’s Ikoyi resident’s pool.

Daniel III was just 13 months old.

Popular Nigerian singer, Dbanj, has lost his only child with his wife, Lineo, Daniel Oyebanji the Third.

According to unconfirmed reports, the 13months old drowned in the pool at their residence in Ikoyi.

Reports states that his remains have since been moved to a morgue in Ikeja, GRA.

Though details of the sad event are yet unknown, the singer, who is currently in the United States took to Instagram to write;

Trying times, but my God is always and forever faithful.’

Little Daniel clocked one last month and he was fondly celebrated by his parents, friends and family.

Dbanj’s platform will sponsor the best movie scripts from multiple entries.

The singer made this known at the 2018 Nigerian Entertainment Conference with the theme “Understanding Emerging Markets, Trends and Opportunities” in Lagos.

According to him, there is already a programme called Creative, Reality, Entertainment, Arts and Music (CREAM). This is for creative singers with potentials of breaking even in the music industry.

The new platform, however, will sponsor the production of movie scripts that have what it takes to appeal to the audience.

The first set of beneficiaries on the platform was Rayce, TK Swag, MKJ, Leke Benson, Legend Courage and recently Real Self.

“We have been doing this for the musical industry since 2016, we want to rub off on the potential actors and actresses too because we realise there are talents too in that field who needs assistance.

“Every month beginning from May, we will be picking 10 scripts we believe will interest the viewers and they will all be shoot and produced.

“We have 3.5million subscribers’ already on CREAM platform and we expect more talented Nigerians to upload their scripts and music for possible assistance.

“Legbegbe“ which is one of the most played song in clubs, radio stations and parties was a product of CREAM , this was done by Real self, featured Idowest, Obadice and Kelvin Chuks.” he said.

D’Banj thinks Tuface is greater than D’Banj.

Prolific singer, D’Banj, in an interview with NET TV speaks on his life as a father and so many other issues concerning the industry.

He revealed his love for female singers, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade. The singer also spoke on his experiences as a father and his marriage.

According to him, it is an insult to compare Tuface to MI as the two musicians are not comparable.

Recall that D’Banj, popularly known as Koko Master,  had a secret wedding, that only came into limelight when he had his first child.

He is most known for his songs, Oliver Twist, Suddenly and many others.

Dbanj will not go on tour only for the fans

The 2018 Social media Week really has lots of celebrity in attendance. The program hosts both male and female celebrities from the different entertainment sectors to discuss salient topics relating to social media. Dbanj also known as koko master who was also present shared his thought on music tours in Nigeria.

The singer said: “I will go on tour in Nigeria when I know there is profit in it, not just to satisfy fans and go home broke”
