Binti Kiziwi talks about getting back with her old lover, Z Anto 7 years after serving jail sentence in China

Sandra Khan who is popularly known as Binti Kiziwi recently returned home (Bongo) from China where she had spent 7 years behind bars!

From the stories making rounds on social media, word has it that she was found guilty of drug trafficking back in 2013. The lass is said to have been arrested at the airport where she had earlier complained about a stomach ache.

After several tests and scans, Binti Kiziwi was allegedly found carrying drugs in her stomach. Well, this must have been one of her biggest mistakes since China has never been sympathetic with drug traffickers.

The lady was then detained for two years, before she was sentenced to another 5 years in prison after being found guilty of drug-trafficking. Well, after serving her full jail-term the lass is now back to in Dar es Salaam and from the look of things; she is back to reclaim her thrown!

Well after her return Binti Kiziwi has gone straight back to doing what she loves best! The lady is currently working on a new project with Z Anto who is said to have been her boyfriend at the time of her arrest in China.

The two are however said to be more than friends and from the look of things; Z Anto is using this opportunity to get his name out there hoping the two will finally become stars!

When asked about her relationship with Z Anto, the lady said that time will tell but as for now she is happy to be back with her loved ones!

In another detailed post, the comedian went on to confess that even after vowing not to love again; 2018 brought him a big surprise that I am sure has helped him grow stronger.

Singer Otile Brown aka Jacob Obunga is among the many celebrities and people who have struggled with depression.

The singer opened up about his struggle just recently while speaking on an interview with Radio Maisha.

The problem with being an artiste is that we cannot open up to people. You can have a lot going on in your life but you cannot talk because there is a way people perceive you. When you talk, one finds peace but as an artiste, you don’t know who to trust because you are not sure who is your friend. Rumors making rounds on social media is that Diamond Platnumz is back with his old flame, Hamisa Mobetto.

This comes a few hours after Hamisa Mobetto was allegedly seen cruising around in one of Diamond Platnumz cars this past weekend.

Diamond Platnumz was not able to show up for Tanasha Donna’s EP launch that went down at the Sarit Centre Expo on Saturday, 1st February.

According to a post shared on the Tanzanian singer’s page; Diamond Platnumz revealed that he was forced to jet back to Tanzania due to a family emergency!

Terence Creative started off at the bottom like most celebrities. He proved this by sharing a never before seen photo acting from his acting days!

During this time, Terence was still a chain smoker who thought his only way of being creative is by smoking cigarettes.

One year ago I was a smoke slave. I couldn’t function without smoke, I kept it to my mind that I needed to smoke to be more creative. Later on I realised it was just a myth. I prayed to God and said to myself I will quit. I prayed and told God to free me ’cause I’m his child, and he did.

The singer has been slow on releasing music in 2019 but seems 2020 is that year she will not be resting. I’m Standing has been performed in English fully and it is interesting.

Why BBI Report is also exciting the youth

The much-awaited report of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) has finally been launched with the hope it will herald a new Kenya that is free of divisive political hostilities.

The report, a product of a 14 member task-force, was launched before over 5000 delegates at the Bomas of Kenya, Nairobi. The youths have not been left out in the report also and have every reason to be excited.

Through several recommendations made, the Kenyan youth have equal and ample opportunities to prosper for the next 3 generations or 100 years.

This means artists, actors, producers and all other careers that youth are focused on are about to grow and become even easier to run.

7-year tax break

The youth matters are captured in several pillars, the most notable is in the economic empowerment solutions i.e. 7-year tax break to support youth entrepreneurship and job creation, setting up business advisors in all Huduma Centers amongst others aimed at ensuring the Kenyan youth are empowered.

The BBI report seeks to capture more views of all Kenyans and the youth are urged to read and engage by sharing their feedback through the website so their solutions can be added into the BBI Report, which aims to give Homemade solutions for Kenyan issues.

Sailors taking the stage with new jam ‘Katanisha’

Sailors your favourite ghetto anthem artistes are back with a very lit club banger Katanisha. This is a super lit jam and well-sieved lyrics.

The kind of language Sailors use is what makes it fun. The most interesting thing is that the group is still singing about women and their behinds.

Sailors as a group have been doing well in the industry. Collaborating with Joefes was a good thing for the group and the outcome is the best.

Katanisha, in this case, has been used as a sheng’ word and the meaning is all about having fun. There is a place they talk about Dondosa which simply mean shaking ones behind.

Sailors know for their ghetto lyrical nature are taking the music scene far here in Kenya. The video has some great coordination. To add on, we cannot forget the costume and the colours used.

We now seek to understand the meaning of this jam Katanisha. To start with, the theme is still the same on women and twerking.

There are lines that are totally different from that and they give the song a lead. Sailors being together for an year is proof that they are destined to go far as a team.

Interestingly, during the introduction of the video, you realise that Sailors and Joefes are talking about weed and miraa.

The leaves of the miraa are displayed by one of the singers as he delivers his lines. Also, I do not know who told these kids they need to scream when introducing a song.

Sailors are a great team and now that Katanishi is almost getting to 200k it is clear that their music is accepted here in Kenya.

In conclusion, the duo did well from the audio to the video and that is a plus. Lastly, Katanisha gets a rating of 6/10.

A few days ago Kenyan producer Magix Enga called putting Harmonize for allegedly stealing the same beat he used on ‘Dundaing’ to create ‘Uno.’

The producer went on to issue a warning asking Harmonize to pull down the song however seems that Konde Boy assumed the request and chose to remain silent.

Jerry Ogallo is back with a super jam dubbed Karibu Nami. The Kenyan singer has featured Ihaji and Benady and the tune is just amazing.

When other people are singing parte after parte he is making great music. I feel like he is one of the underrated artiste in the country. This guy has great vocals that will blow your mind. Many will probably say he is yet to give them the best, but you need to give him time.

The collaboration for Karibu Nami is a great thought. Look at how they complement each other. In addition, the Karibu Nami is just a simple hit that talks of what happens to women.

Although they have delivered some great work, there is a line; Benady!! nadai ku cum na ni cum na kinwyaji!! Though twisted, I believe they could have done better.

Jerry Ogallo talks of pampering the girl, in this case, she is calling her mama yao. Karibu nami, Karibu nami, nakutamani mummy. Actually, this serves as the chorus of the song. It is worth it though from the way it has been delivered.

Jerry Ogallo also comes in as a super producer. Believe it or not, he is the one who has produced Karibu Nami. He is also a writer as they have collaborated with Bernard syoi.

In addition, we all know of the super director who has never failed at all. This Karibu Nami video has been directed by Johnson Kyalo.

Without wasting much time, the video was delivered as expected. It is in sync with the lyrics and the beats. I really cannot tell why Jerry Ogallo is yet to break even.

If you are a serious and true lover of good music, you will realize that he is very talented only that Kenyans are mean.

In conclusion, Jerry Ogallo gets a rating of 7/10 for Karibu Nami.

Krg The Don is back with a new hit ‘Nyandus’

Krg The Don doing what he does best in his new tune Nyandus. The Kenyan ghetto artiste features some of the best in the category.

What is interesting about this jam is how free style it is. It is all about the local things that happen in Kenya.

You are going to notice that the jam has the religion aspect in it where Krg has performed like the popular Akurino sect in Kenya.

Krg has brought on board Sailors, and Dj Lyta and all that this song has is the beats which can even awaken the dead.

Nyandus by Krg The Don is all about having fun

Even without looking at the lyrics, the title is enough to tell you that whatever the content is in there is not very serious and is only appealing to the few who understand the meaning.

Nyandus is a slang that is mostly used in the streets of Nairobi thus limiting the target audience.

The main thing in this jam is how the dance has been delivered and how entertaining it is.

Krg and his team as usual are into matters of women and how they are sex objects. More so known for twerking.

In addition, we all know how Sailors do it, Shalkido has won the hearts of many. Although the song is in Sheng’ there are more Kikuyu words.

Am left laughing when the Sailors dude delivers a certain line like a Mukurino. This is just hilarious. Am sure by the end of the week most people will be left dancing to the tune.

Nyandus is just all about having fun. Also, some collaborations like this one help to promote one another musically.

Last but not least, Nyandus by Krg The Don is well done from the audio to the video. Dj Lyta has also added taste to the jam making it a hit.

In conclusion, Krg The Don gets a rating of 6/10 in Nyandus.

DJ Moh Spice takes over reggae show weeks after NTV fired Kriss Darlin

Nicholas Mugo Mwangi popularly known as DJ Moh Spice is rumored to have a taken over Kriss Darlin’s former job as the new host of NTV’s weekly reggae show Jam Rock.

This is after the TV station terminated their contract with DJ Kriss Darlin who had joined politics after revealing he was vying for the Kibra MP seat.

For this reason Kriss Darlin’s co-host Miss Katiwa was forced to host the show solo until recently when a close source from NTV revealed DJ Moh Spice had been appointed to take over the show.

Following DJ Kriss Darlin exit, we’ve settled on DJ Moh Spice as his suitable replacement but in a new show called Jam Down Reggae Show which he will co-host with Miss Katiwa who has been amazing so far.

This also comes a few weeks after Moh Spice was arrested after a photo of him carrying a gun surfaced on social media.

The reggae DJ master was then arrested by the DCI who found him in possession of a Steyr pistol and 174 rounds of ammunition; however since he was a licensed gun owner, the fella walked out away free!

Khaligraph Jones caught on camera ‘breastfeeding’ his daughter

Rapper Khaligraph Jones is one proud dad and nothing can change how he feels about his little angel.

So far we have seen him bonding with his daughter in different ways but the latest video shared by his girlfriend Georgina; well, let’s just say Khaligraph was ready to go all the way just to entertain his baby.

In the video uploaded on Georgina’s Instagram story one can clearly spot Khaligraph Jones trying to breastfeed his daughter – who has no knowledge that daddy is just playing.

Despite his busy schedule and work, Khaligraph Jones appears to have a soft spot when it comes to his baby girl.

In the past we have seen him taking time to sing for his baby or put her to bed; but we cannot confirm whether he is also changing her diapers since it’s obvious that his daughter appears to his favorite human.
