Diamond fell out with the deputy minister Information, Culture, Arts and Sports – Juliana Shonza after she announced the ban on songs on social media without serving the affected artists with letters.

Tanzania’s minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports Harrison Mwakyembe has come out to strongly defend his deputy Juliana Shonza.
Mwakyembe condemned Diamond’s decision to blast his deputy in a statement issued by the ministry. The statement says Diamond ought to use right channels to lodge complaints with the ministry instead of firing salvos at Juliana on social media.
