Taking to his social media account, he celebrated the win with a heartfelt message that read:

I could have been a provider with no care, presence nor emotional availability but I chose to be a fighter for them and today I have been granted joint legal and physical custody by the Children’s Court.

I don’t know if I should write a children’s book for them or a man’s book for my bros going after father time. I had written a long letter about my ordeal but I have to be humble in this moment, it’s more about the kids than me.

Thank you to my family, friends, supporters and everyone who never doubted my intentions nor character and most importantly to my lawyer (and occasional therapist

Custody Battle Between Influencers Ramadhan Olouch and Faith Wanjiku Stalls Again as Case is Adjourned

The child custody case involving former YouTubers Ramadhan ‘Ramzy’ Olouch and his ex-partner Faith ‘Shiko’ Wanjiku has hit another delay after Wanjiku failed to appear in court for the third time to testify.

The two previously gained fame through their YouTube channel The Green Calabash, which neared 100,000 subscribers and over 14 million views before it was taken down in 2022 following their abrupt and highly publicized breakup. They rose to prominence after live-streaming the birth of one of their children—a video that drew massive online attention. The duo were also known for featuring their children in brand campaigns as influencers.

Following their separation, Wanjiku—who is now married to radio presenter Mike Mondo—filed a case in 2023 seeking full custody of their two sons.

The case remains ongoing, with new developments emerging. Ramzy recently submitted video evidence allegedly showing Wanjiku and her husband, Mike Mondo, picking up the children while appearing intoxicated. He is urging the court to use the video as proof of irresponsibility and poor judgment on Wanjiku’s part.

Ramzy argues that not only were the children placed in a potentially unsafe situation, but that the incident also publicly humiliated them. The court had previously ruled that the two ex-partners alternate custody on weekends.

In her initial 2023 filing, Wanjiku accused Ramzy of neglecting his parental duties, claiming he stopped paying school fees for their sons at a private Nairobi institution. According to her, the arrears had reached Sh303,500, despite Ramzy reportedly earning a monthly salary of Sh150,000 and additional income from side projects that once totaled Sh791,125.

Ramzy, however, defended himself, citing a pay cut that affected his ability to meet the children’s expenses at their current school. He provided an M-Pesa transaction of Sh50,000 as partial payment toward the outstanding fees and proposed transferring the children to a more affordable school—a suggestion Wanjiku opposed.

In response to the impasse, the Principal Magistrate ordered a temporary arrangement: Ramzy would continue paying fees at a rate equivalent to the proposed school while Wanjiku would cover the balance, pending a final judgment on the custody matter.

The court is expected to resume hearings once Wanjiku appears to testify.

Popular Influencer Rammzy finally addresses why he and Shiko Nguru split (VIDEO)

Content creator and influencer Rammzy had created a brand for himself that celebrated his married life and blended family together with his partner, Shiko Nguru. The pair showcased their lives on their YouTube channel called The Green Calabash and at one point even shared the home-birth of their son.

So it came as a surprise to many when Shiko deleted all of their shared Instagram photos and soon enough, The Green Calabash family YouTube channel was likewise deleted by the couple. Rammzy soon confirmed the rumours that had been circulating saying when he took to his Insta stories to say,

“Shiko’s still my BM so I won’t allow her to be disrespected. We have kids to protect, not adults to entertain. I wish her all the best on her way back to Nai(robi),”

He clarified that the two chose to terminate their more than five-year romance amicably.

“Two adults sat down and figured there is nowhere in the world people would sacrifice individual ambition and peace for emotional security as a couple. I was brought here by God’s glory so I gotta stay and make some bank for my kids. I’m already an investor on these sides,”

This did nothing to explain to their thousands of fans what exactly had transpired that was so egregious, they chose to end their relationship. Their fans were unsatisfied with the simple statement Rammzy had made but could simply grumble as they realized their questions would never be answered. And so they settled into the uneasy realization they would never have any closure.

That was, until he recently was hosted by a podcast called The Crib Sheet Podcast in which he had a conversation with the host about his journey through dating a single mother, accepting to start a family with her and the eventual split and subsequent life afterwards as a co-parenting father.
