Skolopad has got tongues wagging once again on social media, after she shared a string of pictures of herself covered in nothing but a white sheet.

A few weeks ago Skolopad launched a social media campaign to help her decide if she should leave nudity in 2017.

“People saw pictures of me in normal clothes the other day and went crazy but they forget that I always said I am three in one. Nonhlanhla and Skolopad are different. But I now have a great team of people trying out new things with me and if I get a couple of thousands retweets when I ask if I should leave nudity in 2017, then I might think about it.”

What happened to Skolopad Wors dress(PICS)

Controversial local entertainer Skolopad braaied her “boerewors” dress and says it was “delicious.”

The Drama Queen of The Year nominee wore a dress made from clear plastic and boerewors placed in strategic areas to cover her modesty to the Feather Awards on Thursday.

Speaking to The Juice Skolopad said that after she changed into her second outfit, she placed the wors in a coolerbox and kept it cool at the BP garage close to the venue.

Skolopad was not going to just throw away the R200 worth of wors, and decided to braai it for her family.

She wrote on Twitter: “Me,my mom n my child enjoyed #Skolopad Vors. Bafe Braai. (sic)”

The registered nurse turned overnight sensation confirmed to The Juice that it was she same wors she “wore” to the Feather Awards.

How much did Skolopad Wor’s dress cost(Details)

Socialite Skopolad’s  famous boerewors outfit she wore to the annual Feather Awards in Joburg this week cost a measly R1500.

Her 34-year-old designer, Teboho Monatisa, who is based in Skolopad’s home-town of QwaQwa, Free State, said the cost included material and labour.

“Although the material was very cheap, the labour does not come cheap,” he said.

The material for the outrageous dress cost a little less than R300 including the boerewors and bag of charcoal that she used as a clutch bag.

Monatisa said when Skolopad came up with the idea, she wanted the wors to hang uncovered from her bra. “I suggested that we cover it with plastic and use the wors to hide her crucial body parts. She liked the idea.”

Well we can all get Skopolad’s eye popping dress for R300.

Skolopad untouched by Zodwa Wabantu’s win

Skolopad said she wasn’t “touched” by virtue of losing to Zodwa Wabantu. The two were both nominees for Drama Queen of the Year at the Feather Awards.

“No, no, no being nominated was enough for me. It was a big deal and achievement for me. Her (Zodwa) winning the award didn’t really bother me, I know she has a big support base,” she said.

Controversial outfit

Skolopad showed up in a Lady Gaga inspired see-through dress where her private parts were covered by boerewors.

The dress, she said, was inspired by her concept to show people that she doesn’t endorse beef.

The full time nurse said it had nothing to do with “trying to take the spotlight from Zodwa” and in fact she was showing support.

“I love DJ Tira’s songs so when I saw him on stage I just went crazy and started dancing in the crowd. But I started even before he called Zodwa on stage, you know I don’t have beef, I was just having fun.”

Though Zodwa addressed her, Skolopad said she understood it was just a reaction.

“No, the thing is I was taught to always think about people’s situations before I let what they do affect me. So when I heard her “address” me, I thought ‘oh well it’s just a reaction and she’s entitled to it’. So I choose not to react, I wasn’t really offended,” she said.

Skolopad and Zodwa WA Bantu bring the Feathers Awards red carpet to a Stand still

Two of the most provocative stars in the country stole the 2017 Feather Awards.

First there was Skolopad channeling Lady Gaga’s ‘Meat Dress’ creation from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on the red carpet. Her see-through plastic number featured pieces of raw wors strategically placed over her lady parts.

Asked by Sowetan Livewhat inspired her the look that was ready to braai, Skolopad replied:

“I don’t eat beef, people have so much ‘beef’. I can’t stand ‘beef’. So wors is my meat of choice.”

While Skolopad opted to hide her assets, Zodwa Wabantu had cameras flashing with her no-underwear look. She donned a emerald lace gown, with hip-high slit that left very little to the imagination.

“The design was sent to me by DJ Tira. To me the green colour represents female power,” Zodwa said.

“Since I’m nominated for Drama Queen of the Year maybe I will cause some drama tonight. But I want to win both the categories.”

At the end it was provocateur Zodwa Wabantu who won Queen of the Year over raunchy socialite Skolopad.
