Stevo Simple Boy Announces His Wife Brenda Is Pregnant (Video)

Stevo Simple Boy recently made it public that his new girlfriend Brenda is expectant with their first born child. The ‘mihadarati’ hitmaker divulged the latter in  a recent interview with 2Mbili on his YouTube channel subbed ‘too personal with 2mbili’.

According to Stevo, his wife is 3 months pregnant now; and he is exuberant about it.

”Mimba ni ya miezi tatu. Mtoto anakuja mwezi wa nane ama wa tisa,” Stevo stated.

The news comes just months after Stevo’s ex-lover accused him of being a dead beat dad. However, Stevo denied the accusations and claimed that the child was not his.

Simple Boy’s Wife Accuses Manager Machabe  of Financial Mismanagement Amidst Public Introduction

Stivo Simple Boy publicly introduced his wife recently, who claimed his manager, Geoffrey Machabe was mis-managing funds.

In a video shared by Sarah Mtalii on Instagram, Stivo Simple Boy and Brenda were seen seeking legal counsel to address their grievances. Brenda explicitly accused Machabe of mismanaging her husband’s earnings.

“I am fighting for Stivo to get his rights,” Brenda stated. “It’s like his current management is frustrating him. The guy is not good for Stivo. Stivo has been working with Geoffrey. He is working and does not even have one bob. He would do a KSh 80,000 show and return without a shilling and wouldn’t even know where his money went.”

Stivo Simple Boy himself corroborated these claims, alleging that his manager refuses to disclose account balances and consistently dismisses his inquiries. After hearing their concerns, Sarah Mtalii offered to connect the couple with a lawyer to help them recover funds and gain access to their financial records.

Stevo Simple Boy Admits Chasing Clout To Remain Relevant (Video)

Kenyan rapper Stivo Simple Boy has pulled back the curtain on some of his past publicity stunts, admitting to engaging in “clout-chasing” tactics during his tenure with his now-former manager. This admission comes shortly after the manager publicly confirmed their professional separation.

Unpacking the Staged Stunts

In a recent interview with Oga Obinna, Stivo confessed that certain widely reported events, such as the supposed gifting of a Mazda Demio, were entirely fabricated for media attention.

“Hio gari nilisema nimepewa na kampuni ilikuwa ni kipindi tu,” he revealed, translating to: “The car I said I had been gifted by a company was just clout-chasing.”

The Marital Strain and Managerial Fallout

The split between the artist and his former manager appears to stem from growing tensions involving Stivo’s wife. Last week, the ex-manager claimed he stepped back because Stivo’s wife allegedly began to interfere significantly with his music career.

“I’ve helped him get brand ambassadorial gigs here and there, and everything was going smoothly until his wife got involved,” the former manager explained. “She now wants to manage all of his music affairs—deciding what he should or shouldn’t do, what time he leaves the house, and when he returns. It’s made it difficult to even film basic company adverts.”

Stivo’s Counter-Narrative and Call for Account Return

However, Stivo Simple Boy has vehemently denied his ex-manager’s account, asserting that he received minimal support throughout their year-long collaboration. He instead credits politician Peter Salasya for providing tangible assistance.

“I saw you saying that you helped me for a year. Look at my house—nothing has changed. These are the same chairs I came with from Kibera. The TV was bought by MP Salasya, the woofer is mine from Kibera,” Stivo argued, adding, “Even the bed was bought by Salasya. So what progress have you made for your artist? Online, you claim you’re my artist when you were my manager—that’s embarrassing. And now you’ve seized my social media account. Please, I ask you kindly to return my account. I’m just requesting.”

This public fallout marks the end of a one-year working relationship, shining a light on the often complex and challenging dynamics artists navigate behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
