Social media was awash with news that Bibuuza Singer Hajjat Madina had died.

However Andrew Benon Kibuuka the President of Uganda Performing Artists Association (UPPA) has disputed the reports.

“As far as I am concerned Hajjat Madina is not dead. She is still alive. I have not yet received any information of the sort from her care takers,” he said.

Kibuuka in a phone interview with Sqoop further said that Madina is seeking financial assistance to undergo surgery in India.

“She is living somewhere in Rubaga where she is being taken care of by her relatives as we look funds to have her taken to India for further treatment,” he said.

Madina is battling severe hypertension. In March this year, she was discharged from Kiruddu hospital, to reduce the hospital bill.

Kibuuka says the family needs about Shs18 million to cater for Madina’s treatment abroad. He called on the public to support the cause before it is too late. “Madina is not well, but she is alive.”

Self proclaimed heavy weight music doctor Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone is said to have hit a disc joker with a mic citing poor sound.

The incident happened while at a grand opening of a new bar where he was called as the main artist of the night .

But he lost his cool when the DJ failed to give a proper sound that could well match with his performance hence throwing a mic to the DJ after several times of asking him to correct his machines.

This is not the first that the Leon Island boss has done this . Even some time back but not this year , the Champion singer did the same thing in Gulu town when still a DJ failed to give him proper sound and ended up also being the receiving side followed by lots of abuses by the pencil thin music star.

Former Buyende District Police Commander Afande Mohammed Kirumira has fired at embattled philanthropist Bryan White advising him to first pay his bills and debts before making offers for money.

This comes as the pencil sized tycoon has been embroiled in closed discussions and pleas with Uganda police on Tuesday afternoon as he feared arrest at his residence in Munyonyo, Kampala after failing to pay a huge car debt that he acquired thus being impounded by Kabalagala police station.

Bryan White and Afande Kirumira have for the past few weeks been involved in an online battle after the law enforcer accused Bryan of conniving with embattled former IGP Kale Kaihura to commit crimes in the country and the later would use his PR’s social media account (Blogger Raymond Soulfa) to abuse the police officer.

Now Kirumira has totally exposed Bryan White as he escaped arrest today by Jinja police constables after receiving protection from Kampala Metropolitan police and RDC yet he had a lot to answer concerning his dirty deals executed regularly within the city at the mercy of bribes he always gives out to influential figures at special occasions.

Bryan White explained that the he bought the Mercedes Benz Cross country from his home when a one army man known as Alex sold it to him.

Kirumira allegedly paid US$100,000 cash of the US$260,000 that he was supposedly to buy it and promised to pay the balance later which he didn’t after knowing the exact price was far much less compared to what he was supposed to pay. This prompted Alex to report a criminal case of obtaining goods by false pretence against Bryan White.

“I will run out of this country . since I came in and started helping out people but the rewards am getting are so terrible”,

he said.

” All the time am just being pushed on to the wall and life is becoming much more difficult for me each and every day”,

he added.

However, he was freed and today he will have to appear before court to see the way forward on the alleged matters.

During yesterday’s actions he noted that he’s no longer interested in the vehicle and he only wants his money be refunded and the owners of the vehicle take it.
