8 counties to face power outage on Tuesday

Kenya Power has announced power interruptions in eight counties on Tuesday for network maintenance. The affected counties include Kiambu, Nyeri, Murang’a, Uasin Gishu, Busia, Kisii, Homa Bay, and Kitui. Here are the details:

• Kiambu: 8 am to 5 pm affecting various areas like Bada Homes, Mahiga Homes, Kimunyu Secondary School, Gate Way Place, Babylon Hotel, Karunguru East, Riverside East, Gathigia Village, Croton East, and Muthaite East. Additional areas affected are Marram East, Brookeview East, Crops East, Morris Wagacha Farmsurey Farm, Iganjo Farm, Presidential Escort Camp Kays Est, Daykio East, Ruera East, Nando East, and Theta Country Farm. Furthermore, Nduuri Market, KCC Runyenjes, Runyenjes Town, Moi Mbiruri High School, Kagaari Market, Kangunu C/Fact, Kangondu, Gichehe, Gichera, and Spring Valley.
• Nyeri: 9 am to 5 pm affecting Tetu, Nyewasco Kamakwa, Kamuyu, and other areas.
• Murang’a: 8 am to 9 pm affecting places like Gatitu, Gathuri, Karugia, and others.
• Uasin Gishu: 9 am to 4 pm affecting Moi University Main Campus, Talai East, and others.
• Busia: 9 am to 5 pm affecting Lwero Village, Amerikwai, Mapenzi Road, and other areas.
• Kisii: 7:20 am to 1:20 pm affecting areas like Emboga, CITAM, Kisii Garage, and others.
• Homa Bay: 9 am to 4 pm affecting Ndisi, Ndhisi SDA, Kome, and Kodumba.
• Kitui: 9 am to 5 pm.
