In a recent statement, the celebrated artist—real name Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa—dismissed the rumors, making it clear that those hoping for his downfall will be disappointed.

“People waiting to see me fail will wait a long time,” he said, adding that he’s never publicly claimed to be wealthy.

Rayvanny addressed the conversation around his financial status by challenging the common link between success and material wealth. “I’ve never said I’m rich. I actually keep my finances and personal life very private. People assume too much,” he said.

Rather than shy away from the topic, the artist reframed the idea of bankruptcy, pointing out that even major companies go through financial struggles. “Being broke isn’t the end of the world. Even big corporations face the same challenges. That doesn’t define who I am or the value of what I create,” he noted.
