Scheduled Power Maintenance Across Several Regions on August 26

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced scheduled power interruptions set for Tuesday, August 26, 2025, affecting multiple counties across the country. The maintenance exercise is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and customers in the listed areas are advised to prepare accordingly.

Nairobi Region

• Korogocho, Kamunde Road: Dandora Phase 1, Korogocho, Kamunde Road, Margaret Kenyatta Hospital, and adjacent customers.

North Rift Region

• Kaplamai High, Kipsingori: Kaplamai High School, Kipsingori, Botwa, Nyakinywa, Kapchepsir, Kimoson, Karara Choge Farm, and surrounding areas.

Western Region (Kakamega County)

• Lutaso, Navakholo: Lutaso, Navakholo, Dorofu, Nambacha, Makunga, Ikoli, Eshikhulo, Emutete, and nearby customers.

Northeastern Region (Kiambu County)

• Cravers, Witeithie, Kibute, Kiahuria: Mahiga Homes, Kimunyu Secondary School, Banda Homes, Kimunyu Market, Riverside Estate, Croton Estate, Karunguru Estate, Muthaite Estate, Marram Estate, New Rain Hotel, Morris Wagacha’s Farm, Crops Estate, Presidential Escort Units, KU Boma, Kays Estate, Daykio Estate, Ruera Estate, parts of Oaklands Estate, Rumera Dam, Nando Estate, and adjacent areas.

Coast Region (Mombasa County)

• Parts of Changamwe: Kenya Meat, MICD, Mitchell Cotts, Awale, Total Changamwe Kipevu, Miracle Park Kibarani, and nearby customers.
