Social media personality Esther Musila has once again expressed her love and admiration for her husband, gospel musician Peter Omwaka, popularly known as Guardian Angel, describing him as one of the best choices she has made in her life.

In a heartfelt message shared online on Monday, June 29, 2026, Musila said that even if she had the opportunity to choose from anyone in the world, she would still pick her husband.

“My husband is one of my best decisions in life. If I could have anyone else in the world, it would still be him,” she wrote.

Musila and Guardian Angel have regularly celebrated their relationship publicly, often sharing affectionate messages, special moments and words of appreciation for each other.

Over the years, the couple has maintained that their marriage is founded on love, trust and mutual understanding, despite facing public scrutiny over their relationship.

Musila Addresses Fitness Speculation

The declaration of love came shortly after Musila addressed assumptions about her fitness journey.

The mother and fitness enthusiast dismissed claims that her workout routine is meant to impress or keep up with Guardian Angel, explaining that her commitment to exercise is driven by her personal health goals.

“To those busybodies who think I work out to impress or keep up with the man I am married to, poleni sana!” she wrote on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Musila explained that fitness has been part of her lifestyle for years and began long before the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said she remains grateful for the discipline she has maintained over time and the positive impact it has had on her body and wellbeing.

“Fitness has been my lifestyle for years, and I am now thanking myself for the hard work I have put in and my body for never failing me after so many years of consistency,” she said.

She added that when gyms closed during the 2020 lockdown period, she and other fitness enthusiasts adapted by taking part in online workout sessions.

“This was me before COVID struck in 2020 and because of the lockdown, there were no gyms open. Because some of us are fitness addicts, we improvised and had online classes to still maintain our fitness,” she explained.

Embracing Changes With Age

Musila also noted that changes in her body over time are natural, saying some weight gain has come from enjoying life while also experiencing hormonal changes associated with ageing.

“The pounds we have gained are a result of TLC, and for us women, when you get to a certain age, your hormones are all over the place,” she said.

Her comments have continued to attract support from fans who admire the couple’s openness and the way they continue to publicly celebrate their relationship.
