Betty Kyallo still using underhand tactics to push Susan Kaittany out of business? Well, it isn’t the first time the KTN anchor has pulled such a move.
Posh Palace closed its doors for days after Betty poached top stylists from Susan Kaittany prior to the opening of her own spa – Flair by Betty, which is located a stone’s throw away from Posh Palace.
The KTN anchor also called police on Kaittany over claims that she had her passport after they fell out sometimes in February 2018.

Posh Palace’s billboards have been teared down, guess who is the main suspect? A video recording shows unidentified men stripping the billboards as Flair by Betty employees cheer from their work place.
The billboards featured Susan Kaittany herself and were erected along Lenana Road which basically separates Posh Palace from Flair by Betty.
Sources close to Susan Kaittany intimate she has since reported the matter to the Kilimani police station.
Kenyans are mourning after losing one of the best the country has to offer in terms of creative and music production. Songbird Shadrack Ndetto, member of celebrated group Kayamba Africa, passed on this week on Tuesday, April 24.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our beloved member Shadrack Ndetto,” the group said on a Facebook post.

Susan Kaittany took subliminal shots at Betty Kyallo after she opened her own salon to compete with Posh Palace. She sent a coded message that is obviously directed at Betty.
Susan cautions that moving fast doesn’t necessarily means that one is moving somewhere. Her message is seen to be a warning to Betty who moved fast to open her own salon after they split.
“It is a mistake to think that moving fast is the same as actually going somewhere. ??????,” wrote Susan Kaittany.
Betty Kyallo turned a year older on Thursday March 15th. The mother of one celebrates her birthday on a day when the heavens opened like crazy.

Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari separated after only 6 months of marriage. The breakup was a dark chapter in Betty’s life but she managed to overcome the pain she was feeling.
Betty Kyallo recently opened up about the mental suffering she went through after her marriage crumbled. The KTN anchor was featured on Sunday Magazine of Standard Newspaper where she narrated everything.

Betty says crying helped her a lot when she broke up with Okari. She explains that it’s fine to weep even for a full month.
“When I was in the heat of it early last year, I went off social media completely. I deactivated and deleted every social media app from my phone – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. I had to grieve in peace and be in a reflective space. People want you to lose your job, and sometimes you actually go ahead and lose the job, or lose your relationship or a big business deal.
“It’s OK to feel sad, cry, mourn, even if it is for a day or a week or a month or two. Everybody needs that. If you find yourself moving on from such things without thinking about it or feeling anything, there’s a problem. If you do not do it, at some point it will catch up with you,” says Betty.

Betty says that knowing other people also experienced what she went through helped her get through the dark chapter of her life.
“What helped me go through my very public battle, knowing that there were so many people’s eyes on me, was knowing that none of them were perfect, and neither am I. As much as you have many perfectionists out there trying to tell you what is wrong and right, remember that nobody is perfect.
“When you remember that, you will not try to live a life that is not yours. It’s OK and human to make mistakes. Everybody has a struggle. Even Richard Branson with his islands and aircrafts. You could have a lot of wealth, lots of property, a gorgeous wife or husband, gorgeous children, but maybe you’re suffering from a long-term illness. That’s just life. Our battles have a way of balancing all of us out. We could be different on many levels, but there is that one thing that brings us together and that is normally a battle.”
Don’t be consumed in pain
Betty says it’s ok to feel pain, she however cautions that you one should overcome the pain they are feeling before they get consumed in it.
“It’s alright to feel your pain, but don’t be consumed by it. Don’t let pain make you bitter. It’s OK to wallow for some time, but know that you have to get over it before it drowns you.
“Setting up Posh Palace was definitely a comeback for me. When I see the premises while driving past it, it reminds me of my inner strength. I am still in awe. It stands for so much more than just a business. It is special to me.”
Put your trust in God

Betty explains that God always has a reason no matter the situation you are in. She affirms that God will have your back in everything that happens to you if you trust in Him.
“Human beings, including family, friends, and colleagues let you down, but God won’t. People think God’s answer is always going to be ‘yes’, but He doesn’t work like that. Knowing that has worked so much for me because I believe that at the end of the day, no matter what situation I am in, God has a reason for it.
Sometimes we stress ourselves out asking why God let this or that happen, but believe that it all works out in your best interests. Sometimes what we think is good for us is not actually good for us in the long term. As human beings, we just see what’s right in front of us but He sees eternity. When I am going through hard times, I feel comfortable knowing He has my back. That gives me comfort, knowing there is a higher power who knows how to place things where they need to be.
Lean on your support system
Betty says her family and close friends helped her get through the darkest chapter of her life. She explains that having a support system helps one because you can’t live as an island.
“Last year I would go online, and there were all these people who did not know me but had an opinion about me. My family would go online and see it all, but it would never change how they felt or looked at me because I am one of their own. The same happened with my very close friends. I would ask them, “Have you seen what these people are saying?” And they would say, “Where are you? We need to take you out ASAP.”
“You need a close friend, a sister or anyone who has your back when you’re going through something bad, public or not. They change your story. They are there to support you and hold your hand. They are there to listen to you. Most of the time the world is not ready to listen to you; they do not want to hear your side of the story.
Having a support system really helps because in this life you cannot live as an island. You need people who are there to support you and hold your hand. Even when you do wrong, they criticise you but they do it with love. Whenever I go through a hard time, I always go back to my support system because they are the ones who know me. They do not know ‘Betty Kyallo’. They know me. They know the things that I am capable of, they know if I actually did something or not.

Apparently Betty Kyallo was skipping classes back then in 2007 when she was still a student at Daystar university. The KTN anchor has since opened up about her escapades in campus when she was not in class.
For starters, Betty Kyallo was a student at Daystar between 2007 and 2009. The KTN anchor pursued Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication), Advertising and Marketing.

Betty used to skip classes in campus to pursue her passion – test driving brand new cars sold by automobile companies.
“I would like to imagine my campus years as boring, but a lot of what happened knocks off that thought. I didn’t live in campus, I would commute between home and school, so a lot of the catchy things that happen within would whisk past me. But three things I remember made campus years quite interesting. I loved cars, and still do. I would skip classes sometimes to go for test drives. A few of my friends knew this, and the whole idea of a lady doing test drives must have excited them,” Betty Kyallo told Nairobian.
“I drove different cars, but for me, Nissan was the best. My love for it remains even though it’s an expensive car. I think my driving is good having taken several test drives while at campus. Who wouldn’t want to drive a brand new car, fuelled by a company, just because they want to know how good the cars is? Not me.”
Betty Kyallo spent millions of shillings to buy herself a brand new car following the mishap with the Porsche Cayenne which was taken away.
The KTN anchor was thought to be the original owner of the Kes 13 million German machine but the vehicle’s registration details confirmed it was owned by another person.
The Porsche Cayenne said to be Betty’s was seen branded with Hassan Joho’s picture and painted with ODM colors, it was among the governor’s posh campaign vehicles.
Well, Betty has acquired her own French machine, the KTN anchor spent at least 2.5 million shillings to buy a brand new Renault Megane.

Though we know Janet Mbugua is a woman who has shown interest in supporting other ladies through her program – I must admit that I never thought she would have followed up with Betty Kyallo’s message.
Their is no doubt that KTN news anchor Betty Kyallo is among the top celebrated female anchors that have managed to win the hearts of many Kenyans.
However, not many know some of the struggles they go through. Well, Betty Kyallo has decided to open up about one of the advices she was given by friends to make her voice sound ‘better’ when reading news.
Speaking to the Standard Insight, Betty confessed to say;

“I was told that whisky would make my voice husky and that smoking would make it deeper. But of course these were never an option for me.”
She went on to add that a former colleague James karani once advised that she should try taking some Yoghurt for her voice, but according to Betty Kyallo it did not work out as she expected.
“James Karani (former KTN anchor) convinced me to take yoghurt before going on air to make my voice softer. I do not know if he was being serious or playful because I ended with my mouth being full of saliva. I had to pause and swallow in between sentences while reading news,”
But since her break up with her ex husband Dennis Okari, Betty says that she has learnt that she cannot keep letting everyone tell her what to do. For once she can say no and live her life without trying to impress anyone.
“When I was going through a rough patch, I made a conscious decision not to let what other people said or thought get to me. We all have the freedom to live as we want and make mistakes. I will not let other people’s expectations of me dictate my life,”
According to her…for now she will continue living a normal life that will not be affected by her status in the media industry. She concluded by saying;
“Most people do not realise that there is the career aspect of Betty and a private life. At the end of the day, people forget that I am human and supposed to live my own life. I am not special, it is just that my output is seen on a public platform. I go through the same things other people go through.”

KTN news anchor Betty Kyallo is opening up like never before as she recently graced the cover of True Love magazine.
The lady revealed this through her social media pages where she hints about her personal life and probably why she chose to walk away from marriage a few months after her high profiled wedding.
She wrote saying;

KTN news presenter Betty Kyallo is among the sassy and classy mum dominating the Kenyan entertainment industry.
So far she is loved by many and from what we know is that the mother of one is pretty hardworking and has been giving many men sleepless nights now that she has been single for a while.
Anyway, the lady is blessed with one lovely baby girl by the name of Ivanna. She however prefers to keep her daughter off social media to maintain her private life – but once in a while we get to see her photos on social media and we can’t obviously ignore her since her parents are popular.
I recently bumped into new photos of the baby girl and from what I could see is that Ivanna actually took after her dad’s looks (Dennis Okari).
