A kind of reporting that lacked objectivity, accuracy, verified truths. Instead, Edgar´s exposés were out to tarnish personalities´ names rather than provide the basic truth.
The thing with the Edgar Obare type of ‘exposés’ is that it’s poorly done journalism. One-sided stories, half-baked proof, more trolling than truth.
According to the KTN journalist, what the vlogger had done so far was nothing short of breaking homes, taint individuals´ reputation and make money out of that.

Kitili´s sentiments sparked mixed reactions on Twitter, with Kenyans flocking the platform to give their pieces of mind on the same.
Some asked the KTN journalist to make sure he does not get caught on the wrong side of things otherwise he would end up a victim of Obare as well.
Others urged Kitili to stay away from issues that do not concern him, before his die-hard supporters told off the trolls.

So there was this particular event in 2018 where Mbosso had everything in place – his band, his crew…everything.
But soon as his performance kicked in, sound technical issues arose unknown to him, so he continued with the performance only for it to later emerge that no one even heard what he was singing.
In 2018, I did a show at a film gig. It didn´t go as I expected and I had really invested in the performance, the band and everything. But the sound really messed up and I was seen like I sang badly. People who are in music know that there are monitors that weren´t there and so I sang flat. If they are not there you won´t listen to what you are singing so when you sing, you think people aren´t hearing you while you are actually shouting.

I was really insulted. I slept at night crying like a baby.

According to Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) Chairman, Japheth Kasanga, tariffs had been lowered to cushion these entertainers from financial strains and therefore they ought not complain.
What I know is the tariffs were recently revised downwards and they are much lower, so we should not bother complaining. Legally, you are expected to pay if you are using the works in a place that is not licensed. It is the right thing to do and we have worked to ensure the cost is not prohibitive.

Betty Kyallo´s YouTube channel has only been giving us more insight into the media personality´s personal and family life.
This time, she was open to discuss her celebrity crush and how co-parenting with Dennis Okari has been fairing.
The bubbly TV girl spent the day running errands with her youngest sister, Gloria Kyallo and her close friend, Karen.

Betty was taking us on a tour to the carpet center that is handling her beauty parlor´s renovation furniture sets, as she preps to relocate to a much bigger space.
On their way to the place, Betty revealed just how much of a daddy´s girl Ivanna is, always opting to go out with Dennis Okari than with her.
Imagine Ivanna has actually refused to leave the house. She only does it with her dad. Mimi, okay she did once but I don´t know why she refuses to go with me. I even told her today morning, ´mummy, let´s go for a drive´… but imagine she refused.

Betty´s co-parenting with the celebrated NTV journalist, is proving to be pretty smooth and not much of a big deal after she revealed that today morning, Ivanna was set for a date with her dad, Okari.
My baby is becoming a sweet little girl ???????? She chooses what to wear. She likes dresses and track suits just like me❤️ . She chose what to wear today because she had a date with her dad.
Unfortunately, Ivanna is already all grown now and is no longer in the business of warm cuddles or sweet kisses from her mother and this makes Betty sad.
She doesn’t like cuddles anymore. I have to beg for kisses, she gives hugs easily and she doesn’t like oats anymore????. I’m happy God Gave me a second chance with her.

Away from that, Betty was previously spotted snuggling with an alleged Somali guy months after her breakup with Okari.
But for a while now, we are no longer seeing the arms, legs or even curled up hair of this guy taking over Betty´s heart.
During their trip around Nairobi, the three girls were caught on camera drooling over random hunk guys on the streets.

That´s a handsome guy. Wah! have you seen him? Heh! he´s handsome my gosh! Kama kitu ni nzuri, sema. He has a kid, wrapped on his chest as he pulls the stroller and if he has a kid, he´s good. That´s a sure pass.
On a different occasion, Betty gushed over a passerby hinting that the guy would be a perfect match for her younger sister.

It then came a time when everyone had their chance to name their celebrity crush, whether locally or global. A shy Betty confessed her liking has always been for renowned Kenyan ragga and dancehall artist, Redsan since way back.
Quite jittery and shy about her crush, the single mom fumbled a bit before admitting:
Aki please, if you have a wife or girlfriend, please don´t come for me. I´ve always had a crush on Redsan but please don´t make him watch me say this, please. There´s a way he just sits, that muscular, serious and swaggish pose and he´s like “what´s up B…?” That guy looking hot! Even though my dreams didn´t come true, that guy is my guy. The beef between Boondocks Exray and Miracle baby is getting out of hand; that is if both are clout chasing or hyping a new song!
Just a few days ago the two boys called out each other on social media leaving fans confused. Exray accused Miracle baby of being a snitch; while he was accused of being lazy in bed.
At first it all seemed as fan and games until Exray’s new revelation that has left fans and friends wondering how far they are willing to go. According to the fella, he has been friends with Miracle for quite long and even see each other as brothers.

This opened an opportunity for him to know the sailors artist well – adding that this is why he can confirm the guy is bisexual.
Exray claims that Miracle baby was locked out by his landlord due to delayed rent payment and since he had no other place to go; Miracle decided to pay Exray a visit. Of course being brothers meant he would accommodate him for a while before getting a permanent solution.

He loved sports and music while growing up.I saw my child had talent from way back but I didn´t have money to get him into the studio. I am proud because I get everything I need now. He is a provider.
Despite his talent in the art industry, the singer took education seriously and never triggered any disciplinary action towards him.
He was just a normal child but education came first. Growing up, I didn´t see anything too abnormal that I had to angrily beat him.

This comes weeks after Mwikaju claimed baby Naseeb is his son while on interview with a popular news outlet in Bongo. He went on to point out the striking resemblance between him and the baby, but the media personality must have gone too far.
With the new photo of Naseeb Junior making rounds on social media; Mwikaju opted to take a similar like photo just to prove his point – but unluckily for him Ray C was ready to shut him down.

However responding to this Mwikaju has denied saying he is the biological father of baby Naseeb.
According to him, back in Kigoma where both him and Diamond Platnumz come from; people call each other brothers, sisters and your brother’s child can be easily yours.

The artist told Mpasho their vibe doesn´t go well with showing it off and for most of their projects, it is always lowkey.
If I give you money and you post on social media, it becomes more about me than the person who is given. Which I don´t think is cool. I would do a charity and keep it to myself. We do a lot of projects, including opening libraries and visiting children, but we do not post since we do them from our hearts. We don´t do to show people.
Bien added that that was their style of doing things and should therefore not compel anyone to subscribe to their approach.

Kikuyu singer Jimmy Wayuni unfortunately passed on earlier today following a grisly accident that took place along Thika road. According to reports, the singer rammed into a lorry while driving back to Nairobi after dropping off his friend Jacksam in Ruiru, Nairobi.
This death has robbed the entertainment industry a talented bubbly singer that spoke to many fans through his music. He will be remembered for songs like Airitu a Ruiru and Wayuni Utuire Uhenagia among others.
His life off the camera is however unknown but thanks to one lady by the name of Mercy Murugi; we now understand that he had a daughter. Judging from Mercy’s post it’s evident to see that she did not have such a close relationship with her father due to personal reasons.
She went on to share a post mourning her late father in the only way she could understand. Mercy wrote;
How do you mourn a man you had barely known? How do you mourn the man you called biological father but fought so much with him for the title of Dad that he wanted.

More than a week since Tecra´s burial, the Lamu Court has finally set free her boyfriend, Omar Lali.
Wednesday, May 27th, the court declined to extend the detention of the roughly 50-year old Lamu native who had been implicated in the case regarding the billionaire heiress´ death, even though no evidence had been provided against him.
A decision the court arrived at amidst ongoing police investigations into the controversial fatal fall of Tecra Karanja.

Why?
Yesterday marked exactly 21 days of Omar Lali behind bars, having been arrested on Tuesday, May 5th, in what police termed ´comprehensive investigations´ that did not need interference, therefore holding him back at Lamu police station.
But till date, no evidence has been provided against the family man, therefore setting him free.

However, Tecra´s lawyers wanted the court to extend his detention but it found no reason to detain him further.
According to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Omar Lali needed to go with them to the crime scene as well as to the Jaha House in Shella where the late Tecra sustained severe head injuries.
This would have been the fourth visit by the detectives to the scene of crime before Principal magistrate, Allan Temba turned down the request.

Omar´s case was set for mentioning on Tuesday, May 26th for the court to issue further directions. A court session held through video link.
Mr Temba stated that the detectives had been at the crime scene thrice and no evidence had since been unveiled.
Thirdly, according to the court, the pending phone extraction was not quite a process that needed Mr Lali to remain in custody.

Tecra´s samples had been already taken with pending toxicology analysis still ongoing but independent of the key suspect – Omar lali.
Lali has no capacity to interfere with witnesses as he actually doesn´t know who they are. The court will therefore fix the bond terms on Wednesday at 2:30pm once Lali proves by documents his fixed abode.
Not to forget that the aging man had strong community ties and also had a family of his own.

This comes barely a day after Omar´s younger brother, Quswai Lali Omar took to Twitter to demand for his release.

Captain Otoyo who is a popular radio presenter and comedian did not have an easy life while growing up.
Just like most celebrities in the country, Mr Otoyo aka Kazungu Matano struggled not only with school fees; but food was also a problem for his family.
His mum however struggled to ensure they had a bare-able life: as she also wanted a bright future for her kids. For this reason she then decided to start selling illicit brew, which turned out to be a success – as they could not afford to buy food and other things.

Although he performed quite well in his KCPE, Otoyo unfortunately had to stay home to help his mother since their was no school fee.
Narrating his story for the time, Otoyo went on to tell Churchill;
I was a fair student because I wanted a bright future. I was among the best pupils in class 8. I did not wait until the results were out.My mother sold illicit brew to put food on the table. Our job as the children was to make sure it was safe for our mum to prepare and sell.
According to Otoyo, people from his village did not fear APs as much as they feared the KANU youth wingers; who were also a threat to his mum’s business. He went on to narrate his experience with them saying;

APs were not scary, the scary guys were called KANU youth wingers, and when we saw them. We would whistle in a special way to alert the customers and our mum to hide the brew.
However despite it all, people from his village helped raise his school fee since he was more of a community child. He went on to add;
I am a community child. People brought their chicken, maize and so on. That is when I experienced barter trade. People auctioned their property.
But after all the struggles life threw at him, Otoyo is how proud to be reaping the fruits of his sweat and hard work.
The aftermath was a painful experience, rendering her unable to hold onto her baby for more than 5 minutes and unable to sit nor walk properly.
Use of the bathroom was a luxury for her and if she could be spared frequent visits to the restroom, then that could have made life way easier for her.
