The Nairobi governor aspirant Mike Sonko continues to wow many through his actions. Just recently he decided to celebrate his house helps birthday in a special way which has left many admiring his generosity.

After celebrating his son’s 4th birthday, Mike Sonko and his family held a small birthday party for Judy who has been managing his home for a while now.

From the pictures shared on social media one can see the birthday cake they purchased for her and though it might not been a big deal for many, the priceless smile on Judy’s face simply explains how excited she was.

Martin Kimathi has not only been left without a mother but a friend he treasured with his whole being. A few days ago he announced that death had robbed him off blindly now that his mother had gone to rest with the angels.

He went on to add that she passed on after undergoing two surgeries at the Aga Khan hospital but he did not reveal what she had been suffering from. He wrote saying,

“Hi guys. On Wednesday 9:30am my mom succumbed to death after undergoing two surgeries at Aga Khan hospital. This is the worst pain I’ve felt my whole entire life! To everyone who has sent their condolences or shown support directly or indirectly THANK YOU. Stay blessed”

Anyway, this past weekend his family, relatives and friends gathered together in Meru county to give his late mum the final send off. Though he did not say much on his caption, Martin announced that his mum had been laid to rest.

Rapper Khaligraph Jones is not playing around with the money he has been making for the past few years. He is now spoiling himself with new toys and just after parading his Mark X the fella has gone ahead to share a video bumming in a Range Rover believed to belong to him.

In the video shared on his Instagram page, Khaligraph Jones is seen rapping along to one of his songs as she flaunts the mega machine owned by very few artists in the industry.

Judging from the photos he has been sharing lately, we have reason to believe that he still owns his Subaru. The car is seen parked near his other two new cars outside his house in Buru Buru.

Mwanaishi Chidzuga slams Uchumi for food ‘poisoning’

Ex KTN’s Swahili news anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga is one unhappy woman with Uchumi supermarket’s bakery after they sold her a bitter cake for her daughter’s birthday.

Through her social media pages the lady wrote a lengthy message as she called out the Uchumi supermarket located at Capital Centre for being careless.

According to her, instead of the cake being sweet – it turned out being bitter and has now caused a severe soar throat on her daughter who is also suffering from stomach upsets.

She wrote saying;

“Attention ladies and gentlemen I got this cake for my daughter’s birthday yesterday paid all the costs at Uchumi supermarket Capital Centre…took the cake to school for my daughter and she was happy coz of the decorations and the red velvet cake is what she had asked for…I am saying this with a lot of sadness because Uchumi Super Market bakery in their wisdom or lack of it decided to mess up with the taste. The cake instead of being sweet it was very bitter actually it tasted like quinine .I wonder what they were trying to do with the cake. For God’s sake don’t u guys taste the cake and the icing sugar before presenting it? What if the mixture turned out to be something poisonous kwani mnataka kuniulia watoto? Kama hamtaki kuuza au kupeana service nzuri si mfunge basi badala ya kutufanyia”

She concluded by saying;

PrEP is the most safest way of HIV prevention for now. However, one has to make sure they take this pill daily to maximize the effectiveness at preventing HIV.

About condoms:

Taking PrEP every day will keep you from getting HIV infection. However PrEP will not protect you from other STI’s such as gonorrhea, genital warts, syphilis etc. or unwanted pregnancy. You must use condoms correctly and consistently in order to be fully protected from all STI’s and unwanted pregnancy

Using PrEP

For PrEP to be effective, one needs to take it for at least 7 days before any exposure to HIV. Thereafter, the PrEP pill should be taken once a day for as long as a person remains at risk of HIV infection (or as advised by the Health care provider). You should not take 2 pills at the same time or on the same dayto make up for a missed dose. PrEP best works when used with another prevention method such as condoms

When we say PrEP is 99% effective, that means that when PrEP is taken every day as prescribed, it prevents 99% of the cases of HIV that would have occurred otherwise.

It is now a few since Ivan Ssemwanga was laid to rest and his sons still remember each and every memory they shared with their father.

We saw this during his funeral service when his son stood to eulogize his dad in a moving message that left many in tears.

Anyway, the boys still hold on to their father’s memory and for this same reason they joined the world to celebrate him on Fathers Day with moving messages that clearly show how much they love their dad even though he is no longer with them.

His eldest son Pinto wrote saying,

The world celebrated Father’s day yesterday and Kenya was not any different. Kenyan celebrities especially led from the fore front in celebrating their fathers and being celebrated all together in this full type profession without remuneration.

 

To start off is Ebru TV’s sensation Doreen Gatwiri. She was bundled away in some swanky resort somewhere in the confines Dar es Salaam but she still took some time to celebrate her father who she obviously adores and admires. “Happy Fathers’ Day to all the dads. To my father, You have always & will be the strongest pillar in my life. I remember my first day in High School where you fixed my tie & my long green ‘baggy’ skirt, just so I could look perfect & ready for a new chapter of my life. Sauti Sol’s Bien also his father with a special message as he wrote saying,

Janet Mbugua did not also forget to appreciate her husband and all the fathers in her life. She also for the first time introduced her handsome father who she also celebrated on this special day.

Fashion blogger This_is_Ess and her hubby are now proud parents of their new born baby welcomed a few weeks ago. Though they have been keeping the baby on the low, Sharon Mundia’s hubby finally shared a photo of the baby on his social media page.

Lonina uploaded the photo as he celebrated himself on Father’s Day. He also went ahead to confess that the journey of parenthood is not as easy as many assume but thanked his wife for picking him to be the father of her child and the love of her life. He wrote saying;

“First came love…… Then came marriage….. Then came the little one in a baby carriage! Having been a father for only a short time I’m not sure how to celebrate this day. So allow me to instead celebrate the person that made this possible. Mecca is regarded as the holiest city in the religion of Islam and a pilgrimage to it known as the Hajj is obligatory for all able Muslims.

From what we know is that all Muslims wish to visit the Kaaba (the holy site) before they die and not so many have been privileged to set foot in the holy land. However, this does not make them any different from those who visit since they are equal before God’s eyes.

Well, Hassan Joho and Jamal Gaddafi finally fulfilled their dream after setting foot in Mecca, the center of the Islamic world and the birthplace of both the Prophet Muhammad and the religion he founded.

Jamal shared a photo hanging out with his close friend Hassan Joho and wrote saying,

Death robs us at a gun point and most of the time we are left feeling stranded after losing a loved one. George Ikua who is the husband to the late Janet Ikua understands this feeling pretty well and just like any husband who has lost the love of his life, the father of two cannot hold back whenever he feels like expressing how much he misses his wife.

For the first time in a long time George Ikua opened up about how much he misses his wife in a touchy message shared on his social media. Gathering from what he wrote, George definitely was affected by the death of his wife and is still healing from his tragic lose.

Through his social media pages George wrote saying,

Mzee Yusuf might have quit doing Taarab music but he remains the King of these Swahili songs that are loved by most women residing in Mombasa and Tanzania.

He is not just an artist but one with lyrics that come off in a poetic way. Anyway, the singer and his family are currently mourning the death of his second wife, Chiku Khamis Tumbo who passed on this weekend while giving birth.

From the stories making rounds on social media the late Chiku Khamis was rushed to Amani Hospital in Dar es Salaam Tanzania where she was to give birth but after struggling during labor the lady gave up, something that cost her life and that of her child.

Young Nigerian singer shuts down Citizen TV’s 10/10 1st anniversary show (video)

About a week ago we announced that young Nigerian singer Kaydex popularly known for his hitsong Hustle last night wowed his Kenyan fans after going on stage to perform at the 10/10 show which was celebrating it’s 1st anniversary.

The star studded show which saw the likes of Kristoff, Naiboi, Vivian, Ekko Dyda, Bahati, Khaligraph Jones, Amos and Josh among others attend and perform for the young crowd that had availed themselves for the Friday show that has left many talking.

This being the first time Kaydex was performing for a Kenyan crowd, the young singer gave quite a show – and his dancers stepped out dressing in tiny booty shorts that definitely left the crowd watching from a distant as they did what they do best!

Seems that their plans of living together have also backfired after cohabiting for a while now and word has it that Miss Kuruka was asked to find her own apartment in order to create some space between her and Bien since he is a busy artist and one who needs not to deal with the ‘pressure’ he is getting from his woman as revealed by our close and reliable sources.

Our source goes further to reveal that the couple needed space from each other to create room for their love to keep burning now that things between them were starting to get a bit too much.

Valu Valu hit maker Jose Chameleon was rumored to be headed for divorce after a popular Ugandan tabloid announced that the two were no longer interested in each other.

Well, it was reported that Daniella had called it quits after months of being physically abused by the singer. However speaking to Heads up, Jose Chameleon’s wife opened up to say,

Those are lies, I have never filled any divorce papers and I have no intentions of divorcing my husband.

She went on to refute filling any case at the Nakawa Court back in April as reported by the tabloid.
