Willy Paul has acquired a new sleek Mercedes Benz. The controversial gospel singer took to social media to flaunt his new German machine.

500k debt

Vera Sidika commented on Willy Paul’s post to congratulate him on buying the new Mercedes. She also reminded him to pay her back Kes 500,000 which he owes her.

“Pozee!! Make sure umerefund ile 500k ulikopa kutoka kwangu. Congrats Bro,” Vera commented.

 

Willy Paul responded by telling Vera he would pay her the Kes 500,000 and also give her a baby.

“@queenveebosset wacha mambo yako wewe.. njoo mimi nikupee hio 500k mtoto… lol,” Willy Paul responded.

Willy Paul and Vera Sidika were only poking fun at Otile Brown. Vera and Otile broke up because he was asking her for a Kes 500,000 loan to buy a new Mercedes after trading in his old car.

Vera also revealed that Otile was hell bent on impregnating her whereas she went for birth control implant specifically not to get pregnant for him.

Now you get why Vera and Willy Paul were joking about Kes 500,000 and a baby!

 

Willy Paul faces backlash after announcing he is copying Bahati to start own reality show

Bahati started his own reality show dubbed ‘Being Bahati’ which first aired on NTV on August 19th 2018. The show stars Bahati, his wife Diana Marua and other people involved in the singer’s life.

‘Being Bahati’ has been a success judging from the accolade it has received so far and reactions it generates online, the show has been nominated for Best TV show in Kenya in Kalasha Awards 2018.

Rivalry reignited

Willy Paul and Bahati have always competed in as far as music is concerned. The two gospel singers are about to take their rivalry to the next level after Willy Paul announced the coming of his own reality TV show.

The singer explains that the drama at his Syokimau residence was part of his reality show. Willy caused a stir when he was seen slapping a woman in a video that went viral on social media.

Willy’s announcement that he was starting his own reality show was however not well received by Kenyans on social media. The singer was trolled for copying Bahati when he made the announcement in a video posted online.

Willy Paul embroiled in an altercation with woman at his Syokimau residence (Video)

Bad boy Willy Paul is at it again, the controversial gospel singer was caught on camera slapping an unknown woman at his residence in Syokimau.

The video shows Willy arguing with the woman at a car park before things turned nasty and the ‘Njiwa’ hit maker started slapping the woman.

Apparently Willy had spent the day with the woman and they had even attended a church service together before they had the altercation at night.

Help delayed

Security guards watched the whole drama in amusement from a few meters, they didn’t intervene until Willy’s slaps became too much for the lady.

Willy Paul flaunts wads of cash at his office…. Big mistake

Willy Paul is raking in serious moola from his music career, or at least he wants the world to know so. The controversial singer caused a stir on social media when he flaunted wads of cash.

In a video posted on social media, the ‘Njiwa’ hit maker is seen seated in his office with the bundles of cash placed on the office table.

The singer then goes on to pretend to be stashing the cash in a fanny pack but it does not fit so instead he pulls out a bigger brown envelope.

Record label

The whole stunt was meant to advertise Willy’s record label Saldido International. The singer is heard bragging that his record label is the best in town.

Chipukeezy: Willy Paul is a fisi, I can’t trust him with any woman

Comedian Chipukeezy has thrown major shade at controversial gospel singer Willy Paul whom he claims has unrivaled appetite for women.

Chipukeezy was speaking during the recording of his show ‘The Chipukeezy Show’ on Ebru TV when he made a light joke about Willy Paul.

The comedian was preparing for his show when he met Bahati in his van and had a conversation about several things including Willy Paul’s liking for women.

Can’t trust him

Chipukeezy told Bahati that he couldn’t trust Willy Paul with any woman whatsoever, he explained that the gospel singer loves to ‘sample’ women.

“Mimi hukutrust na wasichana, its not like sipendi Willy, its not like sipendi Willy sisi ni mpaka maneighbor lakini Willy siwezi mtrust na madame juu Willy namjua ni mtu anasample sana,” said Chipukeezy.

Controversial singer Willy Paul lost his cool and went on a ranting spree after some his fans on social media questioned his sincerity in the gospel industry.

The whole drama started after Willy announced that he was dropping a new song with secular female Jamaican musician Samantha J famed for her 2013 hit song “Tight Skirt”.

Rapper Nyashinski has launched unprovoked attack on gospel singer Willy Paul who is still enjoying quality time in United States of America.

The whole drama started when Willy Paul took to social media and shared a photo he posed with Batman’s lookalike in New York City.

“Are you ready for a new one tonight?? If I get just 500+ comments, I will unlish it in afew minutes… type YES,” Willy Paul captioned the photo.

Mockery

Nyashinski took to Instagram to mock Willy Paul for claiming that he would release a new song if he gets over 500 comments on his post (the one he posed with Batman lookalike).

“My reaction when ‘artists’ be like, “If I get 500 comments, I’ll release my next video.” ??‍♂️?,” wrote Nyashinski.

Willy Paul has found himself in yet another scandal. This time he is however being accused of stealing a song bora Uhai from an upcoming group by the name of, Freelancers.

According to reports, the singer ‘sampled’ the song including the title and beats. Speaking to Mpasho, the Freelancers revealed that indeed Pozze had copied their song and had reached out to him.

However being young and still new to the game, they couldn’t get Willy Paul to pull down the copied song. Here is the original bora uhai.

Apparently after talking to the controversial gospel artist, Willy admitted to sampling the song but was sorry for it. He went on to respond saying;

Hahaa. Vijana, you don’t know who you are dealing with. I will sue you for defamation. Furthermore, I am Pozee. I run this. Yes, I sampled your track. Mtafanya?

Well with this kind of attitude, we can now understand why Pozze’s music is getting forgotten by the day. Anyway check out his latest song featuring Khaligraph Jones.

Willy Paul accused of stealing ‘Bora Uhai’ from upcoming artist

Willy Paul’s bora Uhai song featuring Khaligraph Jones seems to be doing quite well; but as expected there have been different reactions to the song.

There are those who have fully supported the new project but seems like most feel that Willy Paul should consider going secular.

Well, apparently the bora Uhai song bares no gospel message and for this reason Pozee should stop pretending.

To make matters worse a certain artist by the name of Gee Bwoy, claims the song  belongs to him. Apparently it was originally composed by his dancers and not by Willy Paul.

Gee Bwoy goes on to add that it was even recorded by a producer known as Byron before it landed on Willy Paul’s hands.

The gospel singer has however not responded to the accusations but this would not be the first time to hear this. Earlier this year Otile Brown and Timmy Tdat were also accused of stealing a song from some coast based artitsts.

Willy Paul tops list of highest earning musicians in Kenya

Willy Paul has been named the highest earning solo musician in the Kenya by Music Publishers Associations of Kenya (MPAKE).

MPAKE’s 2017 royalty distribution between November 1 and December 31 last year shows that Willy Paul had the highest earning with Kes 11,685.39.

The total collections realised in that period was Kes 4,677,130.76, 70% of the revenue collected is distributed to musicians while 30% is  committed to administration expenses.

Rapper Nyashinski was ranked second in MPAKE’S royalty earning for the same period – November 1 and December 31 2017. He received Kes 11,482.52

Willy Paul loses his cool and gives irate critic a tongue lashing

Willy Paul is one of the celebs that get trolled every time they post something on social media. The gospel singer has however decided to hit back at his haters.

Willy recently took to social media to celebrate after his song ‘Njiwa’ with Nandy hit 2 million views on YouTube in just three weeks.

“God is good! 3weeks 2million views and still growing strong. #njiwa ft @officialnandy if you love #njiwa just type something nice/inspirational Bless up,” wrote Willy Paul.

Shut up!

A critic fired at Willy Paul claiming that his achievement was mediocre. The troll told Willy Paul to shut up saying other people were getting 42 million views in three days and weren’t making noise.

“Tekashi 69 has 42 million in three days how about that??…shut the f* up little bi**..ww ukieza fika apo si tunahama Kenya,” the critic commented.

Willy Paul hit back calling out the critic for being jealous. The singer said the hater was still struggling in life because of jealously.

Willy Paul narrates how he worked as a houseboy after the death of his father

Willy Paul is one of those artists who came from abject poverty to make it big in music. The gospel singer went through a lot while he was still struggling to make a name for himself.

Willy Paul once narrated how his family struggled to accord his father a decent burial when he died. The singer revealed that they buried his dad in a coffin that had holes.

In a recent interview with Lilommy, Willy revealed that a Good Samaritan took him in to live with them only to be turned into a houseboy.

Willy says his mother had nowhere to stay after they returned to Nairobi after his dad’s burial. The singer reveals that a man offered to host him but he ultimately turned him to a houseboy.

“I was turned into a houseboy. I suffered so much but I never talk about it. I do not even know how to talk about what went down I would have narrated it but I do not know how to do so,” said a traumatized Willy Paul.

Bahati’s firstborn daughter Mueni Bahati is obviously unaware of the rivalry between her father and Willy Paul, the kid is a fan of Pozze.

Mueni Bahati loves Willy Paul’s new song ‘Njiwa’ with Tanzanian songbird Nandy. The kid professes her love for the song in a clip posted on social media.

“Mama nkudownlodie nini?” Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura is heard asking her daughter.

“Njiwa njiwa,” Mueni Bahati replies.

Gospel singer Weezdom jots down message to Willy Paul after losing to him at the Groove Awards

Willy Paul missed Groove nominations for two years in a row. The gospel singer was finally nominated for Groove Awards 2018 and he won the prize last night.

Groove Awards 2018 went down at the Kasarani indoor arena on Sunday June 24th. Willy Paul won Music Video of the year for his hit song ‘Jigi Jigi’.

Pozze was nominated in the same category with Weezdom. He commended Weezdom after he was announced winner in that category.

I felt a positive change

Weezom took to social media to thank Willy Paul for the kind gesture. The singer says the gesture makes Pozze a champion and motivates him to even work harder.

Not much is known about Willy Paul’s relationship, he has dated several women but not once has he ever admitted to have fathered a child.

Willy Paul loves to keep his private life under wraps. The gospel singer however caused a stir on social media when he introduced his family.

Pozze took to social media to share a photo he posed with a yellow skin babe and a young boy and captioned it “family”. The position in which they were standing indicates the typical setting of a father, son and baby mama.

In a separate photo, Willy Paul is seen carrying ‘his son’ while seated on the driver seat in his car; father and son having a great time together.

Publicity stunt?

Some people however think Willy Paul is shooting another music video, and that he is using the kid and the pretty lady to gain initial traction.

Willy Paul expressed his dissatisfaction with Harmonize days after they dropped their collabo ‘Pilipili’. Harmonize has since responded to the Kenyan gospel singer.

Willy Paul felt short-changed in his collaboration with Harmonize. He claimed the Bongo singer didn’t do much to promote their song. Pozze was specifically pissed with Harmonize after he dropped ‘Kwa Ngwaru’ just 7 days after ‘Pilipili’ was released.

Wasafi project

Harmonize set the record straight during an interview with Buzz. He explains that he has no control over his songs as Wasafi records decides when new songs are released.

“Let’s get one thing clear here, that was his project and this was a Wasafi management project that was on schedule. It wouldn’t have mattered even if I had done several collabos outside Wasafi that dropped prior to ‘Kwa Ngwaru’s’ release. At Wasafi, we go by the management’s schedule, irrespective of what’s happening, because that’s their main work, to manage our content,” said Harmonize.

The ‘Kwa Ngwaru’ hit maker also addressed claims he didn’t do much to promote the song Willy Paul featured him. Harmonize says Pozze was just being petty.

“I wondered how he would he have known that yet he is in Kenya and I am in Tanzania? How did he know if I am pushing the song or not? I think he was just being petty,” said Harmonize.

Willy Paul expressed his dissatisfaction with Harmonize after they released a song together. The gospel singer felt shortchanged by the Bongo singer.

Willy felt Harmonize wasn’t doing enough to push their song ‘Pili Pili’. He complained about it on his post on social media without going into details.

The controversial singer subsequently explained what he was grumbling about. He said Harmonize quickly released another song after they dropped ‘Pili Pili’.

“The way we push our music here, they should also push our music. We are brothers. I feel like they have to play their part. If we are brothers, let’s be real brothers. Hakuna kitu naeza mwambia. Anajua vile tulikua tume-agree,” Willy Paul told Word Is.

Vicmass Luodollar has given his two cents on Willy Paul’s row with Harmonize. The rapper says Willy should stop begging for collaborations from other musicians.

Lately gospel singer Willy Paul has been the talk of town and it seems that he has no plans of making it stop.

After being accused of beefing with Wasafi records Harmonize, the singer denied this during a recent interview with a local tabloid; saying he was only urging Kenyans to support their own.

Anyway with all that said and done, the Saldido CEO is not dwelling in the past as seen in his latest post. Well, thanks to his Instagram page we now have an idea of how his office looks like.

From the photo shared on his Instagram it’s clear to see that he is indeed a young boss making silent moves. He also seems to have taste when it comes to his office’s interior decoration.

Despite his recent post ranting about his new project being ignored by the Wasafi team; Willy Paul says all is well.

However it’s obvious that there is a problem especially since Willy Paul feels that Harmonize has not been doing a good job pushing their latest song on social media.

This was proven by his latest post where he is seen calling out Harmonize and his team to join in hands and support the new song. According to Willy Paul, he feels that Harmonize has been paying more attention to Kwangaru than Pilipili remix which is still lagging behind with 400k views.

Willy Paul feels short-changed in his collaboration with Harmonize. The Kenyan gospel singer has expressed his dissatisfaction without directly pointing the accusing finger at Harmonize.

For starters, Willy Paul featured Harmonize in a song dubbed ‘Pilipili’ which was released on April 7th. Harmonize didn’t do much to promote the song like Willy Paul did.

7 days later after ‘Pilipili was dropped, Harmonized released ‘Kwangwaru’ featuring Diamond Platnumz and it became an instant hit. The video is currently trending first on YouTube.

Not enough support

Willy Paul is awestruck that Harmonize’s ‘Kwangwaru’ which was just released two days ago has already garnered 770k views on YouTube while his song ‘Pilipili’ is stuck at 462k views two weeks later.

He claims Harmonize didn’t wholeheartedly support ‘Pilipili’ like he is supporting ‘Kwangwaru’. Pozze even says that the Tanzanian singer is using and dumping people.

“This is so sad! Honestly speaking, let’s not be people who are just after using others. Let’s learn to support. And if we agree to support then let’s do it whole heartedly… it’s a small world we are living in you might be at the top today but remember. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.. learn to live with people! #tafakari,” wrote a distraught Willy Paul.

Willy Paul reveals what fans should do, for him to release his song featuring Harmonize!

Controversial singer Willy Paul has completely refused to buy YouTube views for his Malingo song.

In his latest post Willy Paul came out to thank hiss fans for supporting him throughout and for making his song hit 800k in just 4 weeks.

However he goes on to reveal that his main aim was to atleast get 1 million views which he begs them to help him achieve the goal.

He goes on to promise his fans that he will finally release his anticipated project with Harmonize when Malingo hits 1 million. He wrote saying;

Willy Paul’s fans have been patiently waiting for his project featuring Harmonize for quite a while now.

The two artists are said to have already hit the studio and even worked on a video for their song but they seem to be taking their time in releasing it.

This will be the first project Willy Paul will have released with a Wasafi records signed artist. Looking at the comments left under then photo, many believe that this might just be the biggest project we have seen in a while by Pozee.

Is Diamond Platnumz planning to sign Willy Paul under Wasafi records? Sallam SK responds

For years now it has been evident that Willy Paul wants to be part of Wasafi records. He even went ahead to add ‘Msafi’ on his name but so far the only thing he has managed is to get a collaboration with Harmonize from WCB.

After the whole WCB team landed in Kenya a week ago, many questioned whether this was the opportunity Willy had been waiting for.

This was after it was revealed that WCB was opening it’s  branch in Nairobi to help sign new artists from Kenya.

Sallam SK responds to signing Willy Paul

However, we have now learnt that Wasafi records has no plans of signing the gospel singer.

Speaking during a recent interview, Diamond Platnumz manager Sallam SK went on to refute any plans of signing Willy Paul to Wasafi.

He however confirmed that they will soon be opening new WCB offices in Nairobi as earlier revealed by Diamond Platnumz.

Willy Paul angers Kenyans after saying they can’t help him anymore

Remember the popular phrase “Asanti ya punda ni mateke”?

That’s exactly how Kenyans feel after gospel singer Willy Paul told Tanzanians that the Kenyan market can not help him now that he’s trying to expand. Of cause there were better ways to say it but Willy Paul chose the harsh words, breaking his fans’ hearts in the process.

He was speaking to Bongo 5 in his recent tour to promote his new song Malingo.

“At the moment, I’m doing collabos with artists from outside because I have already conquered the Kenyan market and it cannot help me anymore,” said Willy Paul in the interview.

Controversial gospel artist Willy Paul has been giving many an opportunity to negatively judge his music.

Well, for a gospel artist the singer has been releasing songs that seem to come off like secular songs. However according to him, there is nothing wrong in the type of music he releases especially since they are love songs.

Speaking to popular Tanzanian news outlet, Dizzim Online the musician opened up for the first time; revealing his main reason for releasing love songs.

Willy Paul spills the beans

Willy Paul says that love is a feeling experienced by everyone including preachers, secular and gospel artists, Muslim and Christians. For this reason he sees no harm in coming up with songs that express this amazing feeling.

He goes on to add that without love we wouldn’t have successful marriages and for this reason he will continue preaching it.
