Baraka is the newest song by Akothee featuring Linex Tanzanian artist. The jam has been received well by their fans. Baraka is a swahili word meaning blessing. I am in love with this jam. Generally the song is easy to listen to and the words are clear. The aspect of dramatization gives it the taste.

Baraka’s production did not fail, in fact it set out the theme and message of the song clear. Throughout the production the background was well catered for. You will realize that we are in a hospital set up and Akothee is expected to give birth. On costumes this is a great deal here. The hospital mood is also there. Also the beats are so smooth and easy to flow with. Introduction of the song was well done, the video shows Akothee and Linex being received by a nurse at the hospitals entrance. I would say that the production of the song was well thought out.

Baraka talks of a prayer by a couple to get a child and finally it happens thus the title Baraka. “Maombi yangu usiku na mchana Aje mtoto mwenye hekima na busara Mkarimu na mcheshi na asiwe hasara”. It means that the couples prayer day and night, is that of a child filled with wisdom and knowledge, generous and jovial and should not be a loss.

Looking at some of the verses you will find that the verses give praises to the lovers. Also it shows that children require parental love from both parents.

” Kwani mimi ni nani Unichague niwe mama wa watoto wako Asante, kukubali niwe wako” Akothee never dissapoint “Kwani mimi ni nani Unichague niwe baba wa watoto wako Asante, kwa kukubali niwe wako” Linex also brings out this clearly. Actually the duo did it so well in Swahili. Generally the song is well done. I give it a rating of 9/10.

Hii ndio sababu Linex hajaweza kuachia nyimbo mpya

Linex ambaye ni msanii wa Bongo ameweza kuachia nyimbo kadhaa ambazo zimetamba Afrika Mashariki kwa muda sasa. Lakini inaonekana kuwa ameweza kuwa kimya kwa miezi kadhaa bila kuachia nyimbo yoyote hata hivyo msanii huyu amefunguka kuelezea sababu zake za kutoweka mambo mpya.

Akizungumza kwenye kipindi cha Twenzetu Linex alisema kuwa alijipa muda wa kupumzika kwa sababu tangu aanze kuimba miaka 7 iliyopita hajapata saa ya kukaa nyumbani na kutulia na familia yake. Alisema,

“Kwa hiyo ninaweza kurudi muda wowote, sisemi kuwa nitakaa muda mrefu bila kutoa wimbo kwa sababu kuna vitu nilitakiwa kuvifanya lakini sikuvifanya ambavyo ni mapumziko, nimefanya kazi zaidi ya miaka saba sijawahi kukaa nyumbani hata siku mmoja,”

Aliendelea kwa kuongeza,

“Kwa hiyo nimejipa mapumziko huu ni mwezi karibia wannne sasa, nimekaa nyumbani nimepumzika, nimeandika kazi, kwa hiyo any time nitafanya kitu ambacho ni kikubwa.”

Msanii wa Bongo Fleva Linex adai kuwa kiki inaua muziki

Linex, msanii maarufu wa bongo amefunguka na kusema kuwa mtindo wa kupa mziki kiki unapoteza ladha na focus ya mziki nchini Tanzania.

Akiongea na waandishi wa global punlishers Tz nyumbani kwake Mbezi Beach Dar es Salaam, Linex amesema kuwa imekuwa kama trend ya wasanii wa Bongo kutokea na skendo wakati wanpotaka kuachilia mziki siku hizi. Kulingana na yeye vitendo kama hivi havina maana kama msanii anaamini kazi yake ni nzuri.

Msanii huyu aliendelea kusema kuwa mashabiki ndio wanaoamua kama projects za wasanii ni za kuvutia au la. Linex alisema,

“Nachoweza kusema turudi kushabikia muziki mzuri, tuache kushabikia skendo. Nachokiona hapa muziki unapotea kabisa”

Ata hivyo hit maker huyo wa Kiherehere aliwasihi mashabiki kuwa makini na kufuatilia muziki wa maana badala ya kushabikia skendo za watu maarufu.
