Peter Blessing was an artist who was first catapulted to the limelight when he signed to EMB and started collaborating with major artists has surfaced once again but this time as a watchman as he has struggled to make ends meet.

He was interviewed by Presenter Ali who found him at his workstation in full watchman regalia and they spoke about his experiences ever since he fell out of favour at EMB records.

What’s today the most is the fact that though he’s a gospel artist and some of the singers he had collaborated with a doing phenomenally well, none of them has reached out to him to try and help him despite him putting out feelers for the same. Peter Blessing has for all intents and purposes been discarded.

He also opened up about his relationship with Bahati and he spoke of whether or not he has attempted to reach out to Bahati. And from the look of things Peter Blessing is unwilling to do so citing past experiences with the artist.

However, when pressed further by Presenter Ali he did say he would be willing to negotiate something with his former mentor. Before now he continues to push on and tries to release music as often as his schedule and meagre earnings can allow.

Singer Bahati may have lost the Mathare MP seat during the August General elections but this does not mean he is planning on exiting his political career – now that he knows how it works. You just need support from the top and youre in….you all saw how it went, right?

Anyway having lost the Mathare seat, Bahati now says his intentions are to run for the presidentiam office come 2037. By then he believes he would have made changes on himself ie by getting out of the comfort zone and being the best he can.

Speaking during recent interview now that he is back on social media like he never left, Bahati told blogs;

I want you to save this date, Bahati Kevin Kioko will be the president of this country in 2037. It is about my dream, I want to inspire young people and show them the way that indeed it can be done. I believe in empowerment and getting out of the comfort zone.

Award winning singer Kelvin Kioko(Bahati) is finally back to social media after insinuating that he was not contented with losing Mathare MP seat. The singer got his fans bemused after he deleted all his social media postings from his Instagram account, with over 3.2 million followers.

Most people speculated that he was undergoing depression after the loss, which he was highly hopeful of clinching. He spent a whooping Ksh 33 Million on his campaign.

The sensational artist, who had been inactive on social media after losing the August polls revealed to his fans that he was facing family issues.

Bahati informed his fans that his wife Diana Marua who has also been inactive on social media decided not to talk about the issues affecting their family.

Singer Kevin Bahati Kioko is evidently having a strenuous time after losing Mathare parliamentary seat last month. Most probably, the Machozi hitmaker might be undergoing depression.

After the results of the Mathare MP were announced, the singer cried foul and claimed the election was rigged. Upon failure of his appeal, the musician went on a silent spree, which was of course, conspicuous to fans, who speculated the same thing-depression & disappointment.

You see, Bahati is an active bigwig in the local social media space. I mean, he has over 3 million followers. This obviously means more people are interested in knowing his whereabouts and lifestyle- which he often flaunts on social media without hiding anything.

Asked where her husband was and why he had been silent ever since he failed to clinch the Mathare constituency seat, Diana said people should be patient hinting that Bahati was about to unleash something big.

Maybe the singer is now aiming on turning over a new leaf. But fans remain worried on what Bahati might be undergoing currently.

Okay its been three weeks since went down and unfortunately that happens to be around the same time Bahati went missing in action on social media.

His absesnse has however raised questions on social media as many fear he could be battling maybe  after losing the Mathare MP seat….but again its never that serious right? Unless – well unless he spent all his savings on his campaigns…now that’s a different story and enough reason to go MIA online.

Anyway singer Masauti is the latest artist to reveal that he cannot seem to reach Bahati who has remains silent since his last post on IG shared on August 11th. According to Masauti – he is hoping to work with the politician in future due to public demand…but problem is – no one knows where he is.

Although many are focused on where Bahati has disappeared to – i feel that his fans are being selfish by putting unnecessary pressure on the singer/politician.

Singer Bahati has been in the industry for 9 years after debuting his first song, Siku ya kwanza in 2013. The same song saw his bag his first music award Groove Award and since then it’s been nothing but hit after hit.

With him in the game we saw an improvement from other artists who now had to keep up with the new age artists. Bahati literally became an idol to the youth who were inspired by his story – how he grew up in Mathare to how he lost his mum at a young age – forcing him to look after himself.

However in 2020 Bahati announced to have quit the rotten gospel industry in an interview with MC Jessy saying;

The Gospel is Christ. I have Christ in my heart and I believe in God and he is the reason I’m at the top. I cannot leave Christ but the gospel industry is rotten.

He went on to add that his main reason for calling it quits is because he Khadija learnt about certain gospel artists plotting to finish him.

I never left

Well with him losing the Mathare parliamentary seat a few weeks back, looks like Bahati is back to his first love – the gospel music industry.

Speaking during recent interview with Mseto East Africa, Bahati said;

I can still call myself a gospel artiste. But I sing gospel when I want to express myself to God. Yaani sijataka nifanye gospel music kama biashara.

Well about his love songs, the singer says they don’t qualify to be listed as secular music since he never gets vulgar in his lyrics.

I cannot call myself a secular artiste because it’s not in me. I am not vulgar. I promised God I will never leave Him and He knows.

Speaking on his political career, the father of 4 and one on the way says in 2037 he might just be the next president.

To her, he is more than a life partner but a king, a father and a best friend she will forever remain grateful to have met – which brings us to her latest post directed at hubby after he lost bid for the Mathare MP seat.

As seen on her page, Diana Bahati went on to express her gratitude to her man for all he has been and all he will be in future. She wrote;

Finally we all know who the president is and after days of waiting to see how things will go…looks like Kenyans are ready to jump right back where they left from just before the election, hoping maybe soon – things will start to change for the nation. I mean, it’s a new era and whether we like it or not…life has to move on.

Well with some of our new favorite elected candidates assuming office soon, Bahati unfortunately will not be one of them since he lost to Anthony Oluoch of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

With that of course Bahati will have to focus on something else and that is what Andrew Kibe is actually telling him judging from his latest vlog. Speaking to Bahati who lost the Mathare MP seat, Kibe sai;

Bahanye didn’t win so at least we have something to celebrate. I don’t know what to feel for you. I know you put a lot of effort into it and you feel very disappointed.

Okay, as you already know Kibe has never been the kind of man to speak in a humble manner and whether giving advise or bashing – he sounds the same but for the time we can say he was abit polite with Bahati.

Bahati lost the Mathare MP seat to one Anthony Oluoch; the same politician Bahati had been requested to step for a few weeks ago before the general elections.

Well, many might say this comes as a big surprise since they were sure about the youth electing one of their own; but again – politics is like a game of chess. It’s like being in the center of the board, with mainstream positions and but still – to make a move you have to be strategic, poker face and one step ahead.

And unfortunately maybe Bahati’s team didn’t think of it that way hence – Anthony Oluoch’s win; well maybe because they already knew how the game is played out.

Anyway having lost the seat (but hasn’t conceded defeat yet) Bahati has gone missing on social media since his last post where he claimed there was some rigging at Mathare.

However Oluoch having been named the winner, a few celebrities like Noti Flow have reacted to Bahati’s loss saying maybe he should have started as an MCA before running for the MP seat.

 

Her reason is because Bahati is a new player in the game of politics – meaning he still has a-lot to learn before running as an MP. A comment that attracted many others support the socialite’s reasoning.

Singer Bahati who is vying for the Mathare parliamentary seat wants IEBC to either announce him as the winner or better yet come out and explain why they are taking so long to announce the winner.

Okay, from his post one can clearly see that he fears the possibility of getting rigged by his opponents; I mean, we’ve seen how tough it has been for him especially after he was requested to step down – giving room for Azimio-One Kenya alliance Anthony Oluoch to run on an ODM ticket.

Speaking about this, Bahati not only declined to step down but announced he would fight for the spot despite the rejection.

I know that there is zoning in politics. Mathare has been zoned as an ODM area. For this one time, let us give the youth of this country and the Azimio la Umoja a chance.

Adding;

Give the people of Mathare a chance to get the leader they have always wanted. These people of Mathare have suffered. I did not come to politics to get a job because I already had one. They deserve someone who understands them.

Anyway with everything already shaky for him, the young politician earlier this evening shared a post demanding the IEBC to release results for the Mathare parliamentary seat.

On his post, he implied there are about 21 ballot boxes that were tampered with; meaning rigging must taken place. He wrote;

3 Days since voting happened. 21 ballot boxes tampered with. I have been waiting to be declared the winner and to be handed over  the official certificates as the MATHARE MP ELECT!!!

Mathare MP  Kevin Bahati had many secrets and at this point netizens believe Morgan Bahati could be his biological son; an open secret since he claims to have adopted him a few years back.

Well whether he adopted him or not truth is Morgan looks everything like his sister Mueni and younger brother, Majesty; which leaves us wondering….what are the chances, like honestly is there need of DNA really?

Thanks to a new photo shared by Yvette Obura, fans in the comment section couldn’t help but mention the striking resemblance between Mueni and Morgan. Not only do the two share identical dental structure, they have their dads smile to.

Anyway with that said – Bahati recently shared a hilarious post talking about how other couples are enjoying life; while his wife, Diana Marua on the other hand is busy wiping his tears following the clown activities he has had to put up with in politics.

Singer Bahati who is currently vying for the mathare parliamentary seat has opened up about his mum’s death for the first time; and believe me when I say – it was heartbreaking… nothing that a 6 year old child should witness.

Well, turns out that Bahati lost his mum back when he was only 6 years – a small boy just about to join class 1 and he loses his mum on Christmas Day. Can life get any worse?

Any for those who have been wondering about Bahati’s past – allow me to narrate his story that is judging from his latest interview with Wifey, Diana Marua on her show dubbed tell-all. Speaking about his painful past, Bahati said;

My mum and dad lived in Huruma, I have seen the good and bad times of Mathare. I remember I was six years old when I lost my mum. I was going to class one…it was on Christmas day. I think losing a mum changes everything. She was my only source of hope and the other alternative was to be left upcountry after her burial.

As a young boy with no mum to depend on, Bahati said his life flipped from bad to worse. Who was he going to depend on? How was life going to be bearable without the woman that made everything better even during hard and bad times?

This is a question that lingered in his mind for long but through it all; Bahati says he was determined to get back to the city, hoping that one day things would look up for him.

So after the burial, I cried hard so I wouldn’t be left in Ukambani. I entered the pick-up that ferried my mother’s body to Makueni to come back to Nairobi. I had to come to the city and try my luck.

According to Bahati, he lost his mum due to lack of proper health care – something that often happens in the ghetto areas where getting Medicare is not priority but a luxury to those who can afford.

And according to Bahati, this is something his mum couldn’t access due to poverty; but now that he wants to join politics – probably life might just change for people in the Mathare area.

Willy Paul Releases Diss Track Aimed At Diana, Bahati & Eric Omondi (Video)

Controversial musician Willy Paul has once again gone into a frenzy of rage with the Bahatis & Eric Omondi through a diss track. In the song dubbed ‘Mnikome/Gademit’, Pozze calls out artists and warns them against trash talking him. He goes ahead to insinuate that he already slept with Bahati’s wife Diana Marua and regrets it.

”Hawa wasee wamenizoea mbaya for a very long time… Ushai tupa kijiko kwa sufuria? Hivo ndio nili feel the first time alinipatia. Sipendi kubonga juu ya madem nimesosi. Lakini wewe umekuwa mjing,” part of Pozze’s track read.

The musician went ahead to mock Eric Omondi for not being mature enough to keep his ex-girlfriend Miss Chanty; adding that he posts 75% of ‘nonsense’ on his Instagram.

”Namwaga machozi nikiona Eric Omondi anaposti eti play 75% of Kenyan content, na kwa Instagram yake anapost 75% of Kenyan nonesense. The best decision yenye Miss Chanty ashai make kwa maisha yake ni kutoka kwa maisha yako yenye haina shape. Congratulations mamii, hii nyani haikuwa type yako.”

Eric Omondi retaliated over Pozze’s diss track on his Instagram; stating that getting Pozze to do a diss track was part of his orchestrated wake up call to musicians.

Unatuchanganya Sasa!-Fans Scold Bahati For Mixing Gospel And Secular Music

Musician Kevin Bahati’s latest gospel track has elicited wild reactions from music fans all over the country. This is mostly because of the fact that Bahati had switched to secular music this year. The singer has now found himself at loggerheads for this haphazard move.

Bahati’s criticism started this year; where he was reprimanded for switching to secular even after promising that he would stick with it in 2014. His throwback video had gone viral and he was forced to address the issue. He reiterated that he’s still a gospel artist and warned people against criticizing him. Fans thought otherwise, telling him that money made him forget where he’s come from.

On his side, Bahati believes that he can do both genres perfectly; and he shouldn’t be judged. In his latest Instagram post; Bahati smokes as he beats his own chest stating;

The Bahati’s never seize to amaze netizens with their lavish gifts every now and then; not to mention numerous couple goals. Couples out here are being swept off their feet while witnessing these two sweethearts take social media by storm. Well, not every couple can be able to afford similar sumptuous gifts. Musician Kevin Bahati is the latest to return his wife’s favor of gifting him a Mercedes Benz on Valentine’s day earlier this year.
