Jacque Maribe has come out to lash out at her baby daddy Eric Omondi, who has on several occasions expressed doubt over their son’s paternity.

In a battle of who can flaunt the most money on social media, media personality Oga Obinna has been caught in an editing fail. Obinna, whose real name is Thomas Maghana, shared a screenshot of his bank account balance in response to comedian Eric Omondi’s over Sh13 million cash flaunt on social media.

However, eagle-eyed Kenyans noticed that Obinna had edited his balance before making it public. The decimal point was in the wrong place, and there was an extra space after the decimal.

Eric Omondi has hit back at Oga Obinna after the radio presenter criticized his source of wealth. In a rant on social media, Omondi accused Obinna of being jealous of his success and of trying to bring him down.

“Obinna, I told you I am older than you. I’m richer than you, I have more money than you. I can help you. I can open a radio station for you and write a book about you,” Omondi said.

Omondi then proceeded to flaunt suitcases filled with Kenyan currency notes. “This is the first suitcase. Do you know how much this is? It’s 13 million shillings. I’ve worked my ass off for 16 years. I made my first 3 million shillings in 2008, and you were still in primary school, wetting yourself in diapers.”

Omondi then pointed to four more suitcases filled with money.

“Don’t ever address me, idiot. Who are you talking to? Don’t ever address me. This is money. This is money now.”

Omondi then picked up the money from the suitcases and threw it on the floor. “This is money, man. This is 16 years of hard work. I’m not a conman.”

Omondi then said that there was even more money in his house.

“That’s just the living room. Let me show you the bedroom. Idiot, don’t ever talk about me or mention my name. I sleep on money.”

Omondi showed off a bed draped with money. “One duvet. Look at the duvet. Don’t ever talk to me, and don’t ever address me.”

Omondi then went on to show money stored in the dustbin in the bathroom.

The jester’s rant has sparked a debate on social media. Some people have praised him for standing up to Obinna, while others have criticized him for his lavish lifestyle.

Oga Obinna has finally responded to eric Omondi’s taunts and the fact he called him a broke man with an eye watering screenshot of what he has in his bank account and I am seriously questioning whether or not I got into the right profession.

The two comedians are involved in a beef after Obinna called out Eric for being a political puppet who is being used to clean ill-gotten gains and this irked the philanthropist cum social justice warrior .

Eric Omondi involved in accident

After engaging in a giveaway drive in the greater Lang’ata area, in which he gave away unga, Eric Omondi was involved in an accident later that night. He was rolling with Vincent Mboya when the car developed mechanical problems.

Eric Omondi was just involved in a fight as he held one of his charity drives in which he was giving wananchi some Unga on the streets of Nairobi and he had blocked the road causing traffic to back up.

The comedian who has previously been involved in charity cases as he continues to fight the government and the high cost of living after the recipients of his Unga not to allow traffic to flow until he was done dishing out the flour.

Eric Omondi Stages Yet Another Demonstration In Kisumu, Gets Arrested

Comedian Eric Omondi has continued with his demonstration spree; which he promised to do if his sentiments are not taken into account by the Government.

2 weeks ago, the comedian Eric Omondi was arrested in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) while leading a demonstration protesting the high cost of living.

Anti-riot police officers surrounded him within minutes while he was addressing a small crowd at Kenyatta Avenue, and they were forced to use teargas to disperse the gathering.

Omondi’s convoy had started at Moi Avenue and made stops along Kenyatta Avenue to address residents.

Arrested Again

The jester has now taken the demonstration to Kisumu County; where he blocked a road in tandem with residents to demonstrate for the high cost of living & delay of HELB funds from the Government to University students.

Imminently, Eric was shortly afterwards arrested. The comedian promised to continue with the protests until something is done about it.

Eric Omondi Speaks On Being Tortured By Kenya Police (Video)

Eric Omondi has been on the frontline when it comes to ‘fighting’ for Kenyans for the high cost of living. He has done a couple of peculiar stuff just to prove that he’s willing & ready to fight for netizens.

For the latter reason, Eric has had to face the police severally. He has been arrested a couple of times; and even went to court, where he was charged & released shortly after.

Eric has now taken to social media to call out the police for torturing him psychologically.

” The Kenya Police has arrested me 4 times ILLEGALLY…They have tortured me psychologically everytime they do so. They have Infringed on my rights and they Enjoy it and sometimes even laugh while doing it. You can only push a man too far.”

Eric Omondi Released On 5000 Cash Bail After Being Arraigned In Court

Comedian Eric Omondi was yesterday arraigned in court over his numerous protest in the city. The jester, on Monday, took to the city demonstrating for the high cost of living.

Eric was yesterday arraigned in court. Appearing before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Zainab Abdul, on Tuesday, April 4, Omondi denied the charge, which stated that on April 3 at around 11.30am along Kenyatta Avenue, he created a disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace.

Further, the comedian was accused of erecting a barrier on the said road and shouting. This was seen as causing a disturbance and inconveniencing other road users.

Eric however denied the allegations before trial Magistrate Zainabu Abdul and was released on a Ksh. 5,000 cash bail.

Kenyans should now contribute for Eric Omondi’s bail

Eric Omondi is still fighting to give ordinary Kenyans a voice and the resulting consequence is that he keeps getting teargassed, arrested and charged only for the state to tell him to pay bail.

That last part is where we need to come together to bear some responsibility over the struggle as bail gets costly. And he is doing all this to create a political vehicle that can give us a voice.

Eric Omondi is doubtless doing this to create a political soapbox for himself but politics is a game of interests and while ours as ordinary Kenyans align with his, we need to go out and have our voices hear.

And I am of course speaking to the quasi-middle class who always pontificate about wanting to go out on the streets to have our voices heard but we are too cowardly to do so during Azimio maandamanos because of the criminal element that’s usually in their fold.

Eric Omondi forms a great compromise for anyone harbouring the will to take to the streets to share our collective frustrations at the ever-rising cost of living.

Eric Omondi Arraigned In Court Over Protests (Video)

Eric Omondi is feeling the heat from the Milimani Law courts, where he’s currently being held. Eric yesterday was arrested for staging a protest in Kenyatta Avenue over the high cost of living.

Staging a one-man protest in the middle of the Central Business District, Omondi dramatically threatened to kill himself if the high cost of living is not reduced before he was arrested by police.

This isn’t the first time Omondi has been arrested and it won’t be the last if he is to be believed.

In a recent interview last week, Omondi said that he was contemplating retiring from comedy after 15 years.

“Comedy is done for now. People are suffering and it’s not a laughing matter. I don’t belong to any political outfit…It is a serious time. We are in tough times. People are suffering, they are starving. They can’t afford basic needs. Fortunately, God has given me a voice and platform. I have also entertained people for a long time,” he said.

Police lobbed teargas at the crowds around Omondi before he was taken into custody. He has now been arraigned in court over his protests.

Eric had promised netizens that he wouldn’t stop at any cost protesting for Kenyans over the current high cost of living. He’s probably going to do a repertoire after he’s released. It’s only a matter of time before we know what Eric will be charged for.
