Veteran Kenyan radio presenter, Massawe Japanni adorably marked her 13th wedding anniversary to hubby, Tom on the 12th of May 2020.

13 years after pronouncing their wedding vows in a lavish affair, the couple has been blessed with three dashing daughters.

Up on her Instagram, the cheerful radio girl admitted it has been nothing close to a bed of roses – times they experienced pain,other times tears – but it was through God’s intervention that they proudly mark a 13th year.

Massawe Japanni is a brand in the Kenyan radio industry, having said ‘I Do’ to her hubby, Tom Japanni in 2007 who is also a media specialist.

Mr Tom stands as a media manager, boasting of 15 plus years in the media industry. He is currently the head of radio at Standard Group.

Meanwhile, lady Japanni is currently a radio host at Radio Jambo Kenya and whose prowess in the Kiswahili dialect, has earned her ‘Best Swahili Presenter Award’.

Joey Muthengi makes Instagram comeback

Capital FM presenter, Joey Muthengi resuscitated her Instagram account barely days after a hacker forcefully took away her original account.

Joey had sent messages of caution to her fans and followers alerting them of the unfortunate incident, urging them to remain wary of any opportunists who come knocking.

However, days later, she pounced back, and despite the low numbers on her follow, she is glad to be back and with time, she will recover.

Speaking to Nairobi News on phone, Joey’s brother, Holy Dave Muthengi sadly revealed how she would lose 1,000 followers every 24 hours.

We have been monitoring it for the past three weeks. Something strange was happening as she would lose almost one thousand followers in a day.

Joey decided to give it up, swearing that never would she pay for something that is rightly and legally hers.

She went ahead to curse her hackers, though wished them well.

Willy Paul and Bahati are not getting off each other’s backs any time soon after Pozze called him out for stooping too low.

The two ‘gospel’ artistes are not ready to let either party take over the King’s crown, they rather bite off each other to the last flesh.

“No more babies please!” Wahu Kagwi declares

Having borne and nurtured two daughters already, singer Wahu is not ready for another kid, regardless the gender.

Not so long ago were speculations rife that the Mathenge couple was expectant of a third child, only for the child never to come out.

In other words, there was no child to celebrate nor hear the cry of.

To finally put the reports to rest, Wahu Kagwi told Word Is  that she is no longer in the business of having a third child with hubby, Nameless.

Despite being 15 years since their eyes met, the couple has had two girls and a full-stop to that.

I am just growing fat. There is nothing and I don’t think I want a baby anymore.

A child takes at least 3 years of your life before you can finally appreciate they can do things on their own and learn new stuff but until then, you have to be their cornerstone.

Glad she is past that stage for both of her girls, the thought of bearing another child completely puts the singer off.

I am okay. My last born Nyakio is almost turning seven years and I am enjoying the fact she is doing most of the things by herself. She baths herself, she feeds herself and all that.

She doesn’t need to look far for case examples.

When I visit my friends with small babies and see how they struggle with them, I am like, I do not want to do this again. They are cute and babies are gorgeous but I do not want to go through all that again.

The Kenyan gospel artist appreciates the blessings that come with children but for her, two are enough.

It’s pleasurable but I think I am good with the two girls.

Just yesterday, Nameless could not help but pity a worn-out Wahu struggling with the girls.

The Citizen TV news anchor was just a teen, but already responsible with a young baby girl who looked up to her as a mom.

You know a lot of times, the first thing that kind of jumps into someone’s mind could be a thing,or a lifestyle – my social life etc. And I think for me because I got pregnant young and I fell into the stereotypical definition of a single young mom.For me, what I had to let go of, was that tag… of ‘typical single mum’.

Giving it up had nothing to do with what people would think or perceive of her, rather, just for her own sake and mental sanity.

Legendary Kenyan pop artist, Nameless felt for wife, Wahu who still had to tend to her daughters even after the day’s hustle.

Wahu Kagwi, who doubles up as a professional woman, a businesswoman and music artist still plays mommy duties to her two daughters: Tumiso and Nyakio.

In the face of Coronavirus, it is no longer business as usual with most time spent within the four walls of a home than ever before.

If anything, the song was already a hit and doing exuberantly well on the social media platform that it did not really need much of a push.

Speaking to MC Jessy on a live session that went down on 10th May evening; Kathy Kiuna shared new details about her relationship with the Bishop. Back then when they started dating Kathy says she first said no after the bishop asked her out on a date!

According to Kathy she had no option but to play hard to get despite knowing that she was interested in Allan kiuna. However unlike now, back then the bishop was a struggling from a humble back; but his determination to go far was among the reasons why Kathy fell for him.

Since Allan had no money; Kathy was then forced to pay for the first date and till date she has no regrets about it. On the live session, the reverend who is not only a mother but a grandmother to stunning grandchildren went to to advise the young women of today’s generation.

Owago Onyiro is not about to ruin his new business by engaging with Robert Alai who apparently insulted him this past weekend. According to reports, Alai called out Owago and Jalang’o for defending Mwalimu Churchill who is said to have not paid his comedians.

Speaking about this issue on Jalang’os YouTube show Owago encouraged fellow comedians to make use of the platform given to them by Churchill. He went on to use his fish business as an example; something that seems to have rubbed Alai the wrong way.

The outspoken blogger however could not and watch the two hide the truth, yet other comedians continue to suffer. through his Twitter account Alai wrote;

Having seen the post on social media; Mwalimu Churchill on the other hand went on to respond at Alai’s allegations saying.

Wasafi artiste, Mbosso is counting losses over lost projects and music performances triggered by the lethal virus that is sparing not even a day-old baby.

Up and close on Tanzanian Vlog SnS, the ‘Sonona’ singer expressed just how much loss of gigs, has cost him.

With scheduled music performances and tours for April, he was lost of words, just trying to figure out how he was going to recover his millions.

I had shows that I was supposed to be performing at. I also had a tour in France. All these was supposed to be done in April.

Having to either call off or put off shows indefinitely, Mbosso admitted he lost upwards of 80-100 million just like that.

Unfortunately, the loss struck just just on the verge of getting paid his sum by event organizers, ahead of his tours.

They were almost paying me but right now things are at a standstill. The bookings have been cancelled and I have lost between Tz shillings 80 to 100 million (Ksh 3.6 million toKsh 4.5 million).

It’s not just him, his immediate boss, Diamond Platnumz confessed to losing roughly 3 billion Tanzanian shillings which easily translates into Ksh 137 million roughly.

Singer Bahati might be drowning in scandals now that his career has kicked off quite successful. Apart for making news for the wrong reasons, seems like his Monday is about to change all this.

The young singer this past weekend blessed his followers with the only photo he has of his mum. If you remember well, back when the young dad embarked on his music journey; Bahati only focused on making worship music if not praising him mum in songs like Mama.

However since she passed on when he was still young, Bahati was forced to grow up with his step mum; and judging from how the story goes, things were not so easy for him. Thanks to an one episode from his reality TV show, Bahati for the first time disclosed the main reason his relationship with step mum never worked out.

According to him, the lady who was supposed to play the role of a mother in his life ended up accusing him of being involved in cult. He went on to add that she even came in between his relationship with his younger brother, Benjamin.

“I am breastfeeding my son with zero risks” HIV positive Phenny Awiti assures fans

HIV positive lactating mother, Phenny Awiti has admitted to breastfeeding her newborn HIV negative son for 2 years with zero chances of infecting him.

Phenny Awiti, a mother of two HIV negative daughters and one HIV negative son is proud to be raising her children free from the virus even though providing for them just like any other mom.

The famed HIV/AIDS activist revealed to fans she is recommended to feed her newborn son with breast-milk with an assurance of zero infections.

It is exclusive for six months. No water, no porridge, no nothing, only breast milk for the six months, then we introduce mixed feeding. (I will be breastfeeding for) up to two years as recommended by WHO for as long as I am on my ARVs and he is too, we are good to go????????????

During their popular show ‘Chatspot’ the topic of discussion was channeled towards the roles of a family man and especially in the age of women empowerment.

Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz has been making money moves; and so far he is a proud owner of a 3 star hotel based in Mikocheni, Dar Es Salaam. This is the latest ‘building’ added to Diamond Platnumz expensive homes as revealed by his managed.

According to one of his managers, Diamond Platnumz already owns 11 mansions in Tanzania; and might be adding more in the near future. Speaking about the singer’s homes, manager Mkubwa fella went on to say;

I have decided to at least offer a helping hand by paying 3 Months house rent to 500 families; as my kind gesture of helping one another during these terrible times of fighting COVID-19. for I believe i should share your troubles and your happiness too,”

Rumor has it that things are not so good in Tanzania; and having the likes of Diamond Platnumz spread awareness on the rising pandemic might help save lives!

Diamond Platnumz badly hurt Tanasha Donna and she has decided this won’t go down without a fight.

The Kenyan girl walked out on her Tanzanian baby daddy in the middle of the night, hopped into a plane with her 5-month old son and returned back home – Kenya late February 2020.

Born David Oyando, came to light through his gigs on Churchill Show but in actuality, he practiced Nursing before admitting that was not where his heart was.

So he walked into the laugh industry but soon after his light shone, it instead brought out not such a pleasing side of him.

Anyway, speaking to fellow comedian, Jalang’o on the 6th of May, Mulamwah disclosed he did his first degree in nursing, graduated and even started practicing.

Funny enough, he realized his talent in comedy, while practicing Nursing.

I did my first video while I was interning at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). I am a nurse and a qualified one for that matter.

For him, the course proved pretty hard, seeing him stay in school longer than expected though he eventually made it through.

I studied a degree in nursing at Moi University in Eldoret and graduated in 2018. I repeated a few times but I finally managed to pass and graduate.

With a professional degree in hand, Mulamwah felt he had satisfied his dad’s desires and it was now time for him to fulfill his dreams as well.

That is how he walked out of KNH’s doors never to return. Instead, his fellow colleagues would later spot him on their screens, as a comedian.

Between nursing and comedy, you will see that I am more inclined to the latter. We went to school because of dad’s pressure. He wanted us to get to school, study and graduate. I really hated doing that but I had to and I struggled with nursing a very tough course.

Well, probably that is how life goes.

If you thought the Coronavirus was out to play, then you thought wrong!

So far so many businesses continue to count losses as people are advised to stay indoors! Offices, places of worship and work have since remained closed and judging from how things are moving; we might as well start adapting to the new changes that including sanitizing, washing of hands and staying indoors!

Unfortunately the pandemic has also affected the Dancing Pallbearers who can no longer offer their services despite business booming for months. Considering the type of job they specialise in, these men would now be on demand but due to the virus the fellas have been banned from operating till further notice.

According Benjamin Aidoo who is the group leader, business is no longer what it used to be; nd ironic as it sounds he hopes a solution will be found so that his group resumes back to work. Speaking on BBC Benjamin went on to open up saying;

Weezdom finally confirmed that he did date Niccah the Queen who was once Dr Ofweneke’s wife! Details of their secret affair were however disclosed by an unknown person who leaked several bedroom selfies of Weezdom in bed with Niccah.

As expected the photos left many discussing the two; while others bashed Weezdom for not observing the bro code! However it turns out that Weezdom weighed his options quite well after realizing that he had developed feeling for Niccah.

Speaking during his latest interview, Weezdom went on to open up saying that he had no ill intentions while hooking up with  Niccah. His biggest fear apparently was publicizing the relationship which would have sparked different reactions from social media fans; who in turn would have dragged comedian Dr Ofweneke into the mess.

When asked why the relationship never made it to his social media pages; Weezdom was kind enough to reveal that he had no plans of making things weird between him and Dr Ofweneke.

Speaking during the Chat Spot show, the former gospel artist went on to speak highly of Dr Ofweneke who he says he respects; and did not mean any disrespect with the leaked photos. Of course it’s hard for the two men to be friends after Weezdom explored Niccah despite Sauti Sol singing bibi ya wenyewe is a no go zone.

Tecra’s family reportedly approved her love affair and conversion to Muslim – close relative spills

Even as reports indicate Tecra’s family never saw eye-to-eye with Omar, it turns out they had actually officially approved Tecra and Omar’s relationship and seemingly ‘marriage’.

Yes, it has been claimed that the Keroche family strongly felt that the man was taking advantage of her because of their huge age difference.

However, according to Omar’s cousin, Mohamed Ali Mohamed, Tecra and Omar’s relationship had been formally approved by her family.

Mohamed Ali divulged that Tecra would go to her parents’ home in Naivasha for barely a fortnight and return to Lamu where she would spend months, before her parents became aware.

Adding that Tecra’s parents were against the union at first but this never pushed Tecra into giving up on love.

Instead, she took Lali to Naivasha to see her parents and seek blessings for their marriage.

It is alleged Tecra took up the Islam religion and even secured a job for Lali’s relative in her parents-run Keroche Breweries.

Omar is very famous. He is known to have children even abroad with different women, but as family, we cannot judge him. We accepted his new wife after he introduced her to us.

According to Mohamed Ali, Tecra’s parents gave her a vehicle to run errands with while in Lamu and had it parked at the Mokowe Yard and the Lamu mainland.

Further revealing that her family even sent her drinks.

On that regard, Omar’s cousin does not understand why the aging man was implicated in a death scandal that even the Keroche family knew he was if anything, innocent.

Ruth Matete’s family is not impressed with the Nigerian Embassy’s move to hold back her husband’s body, barring them from sending Mr Apewajoye off in peace.

Even after autopsy tests were duly conducted on the deceased and results channeled out. The family is yet to understand what exactly the embassy stands to achieve by holding back his body.

Not just Ruth Matete’s family. The late Pastor’s family back in Nigeria also issued a statement asking the Nigerian embassy to release his body for due burial.

Speaking to Spice yesterday, family lawyer, Robert Odanga said the situation they have been put into by the embassy, is extremely difficult for them.

This is in light of the inflating hospital and morgue bills the family has to foot amidst the Coronavirus pandemic economic setbacks.

He wondered aloud:

Even after conducting the autopsy with four independent pathologists present, the embassy has curtailed our effort to remove John’s body for burial.

Further adding:

The family in Nigeria have even written to the (embassy) requesting the body to be released, but they have refused to release it.

In letters addressed by the late Apewajoye’s family in Nigeria, they approved postmortem results that the deceased’s death was quite an accident.

Additionally giving Ruth Matete the go-ahead to send off her husband in peace.

With regards to the death of our son, John Apewajoye, we request that the corpse should be buried by his Kenyan wife without further delay for his soul to be at peace.

All autopsy results duly accepted.

Even with approval from the deceased’s family and autopsy results out more than a week ago, Lawyer Odanga questioned Nigerian embassy’s motive.

There’s nothing practical you can do with a body after an autopsy other than burying it. The family is incurring unnecessary expenses.

It is reported that Ruth Matete’s family has resorted to fundraisers to cater for the ballooning bills.

This is following last week’s directive where the gospel singer was barred from sending off her husband after investigations were left open for any interested parties.

According to the police, investigations into the death of Ruth Matete’s husband were still ongoing.

Therefore no burial would proceed without concluding on the death probe.
