“Your game is dead!” Fan tells Jua Cali who hits back with a savage response

Jua Cali is among the pioneers of Genge Tone. Back in the early 2000’s together with Nonini and other artists managed to change and take Kenyan music to the next level and there is no debate about this.

However since music changes with age – some of his fans feel that Jua Cali should retire; and create space for the young upcoming artists.

This is apparently after working with Ethic who took over the music industry back in 2019 with the new vibe.

So far we understand that he has a full album with these young musicians; but the problem comes in when fans demand something totally different but Jua Cali insists on doing otherwise.

Well, in a series of tweets seen by Ghafla one fan by the name of Phero254 told Jua Cali that he (the fan) stopped listening to his music the moment to started featuring kids in his music. He wrote;

Despite it being 6 months since he succumbed to Cancer, Ms Wambui recently shared a moving birthday where she celebrated her husband saying;

As revealed by close sources of the late Safaricom CEO revealed that Bob Collymore fought his fight courageously until his last breathe.

The late Bob Collymore has however been receiving treatment from some of the best hospitals in the country; in 2017 Collymore had taken a short medical leave to fight off the cancer in his body.

His death came as a big blow to many who looked up to him for inspiration; but sadly succumbed to his illness.

Just like most celebrities the fella did not confirm nor deny whether he is dating the actress however he went on to mention that what they share is in a grey area and only time will tell.

Khaligraph Jones indeed made many Kenyans proud this past weekend after he walked away with the best African rapper award at the Soundcity MVP awards.

Knowing very well that he made sure to release some of his best projects back in 2019; this did not come as a surprise but a reward for his hard work.

As usual the Kenyan rapper went on to thank his fans for the support and love they have been showing him since the beginning of his career. He went on write saying;

It is no secret that Diamond Platnumz has had his share of women in Tanzania. Well, we can blame this on his money and expensive lifestyle that attracts these women his way.

Anyway thanks to a new post shared by Akothee this past weekend, we now understand that she has no beef with Tanasha.

According to her post, Akothee sees Tanasha like one of her daughter’s and respects her for this reason. Akothee goes on to add that she has no business with Tanasha whether good or bad and for this reason she fails to understand why blogs are creating beef between the two.

K24 news anchor Anjlee Gadhvi has passed on after battling with cancer for a while now.

The news about her demise has been announced by some of her work mates and friends who had been standing by her side through out her battle with cancer but unfortunately she lost her fight.

The late Anjlee Gadhi is said to have died while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan hospital on 10th Friday, 2020. This comes as a big blow to her family, friends and fans who have gone ahead to describe her as a loyal and loving true friend who they will dearly miss.

NTV’s Smriti Vidyarthi also praises her for being a perfect mum to her girls and family. She tweeted;

Battle with cancer

In other news we have also learnt that the late Anjlee Gadhvi was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2013 but took a while before going public with the news in 2015.

Since cancer treatment has always been expensive treatment, she then apples led to the public to help raise more money for treatment who donated about Sh6 million which was used for her treatment.

Although she is gone, many will remember her as a strong fighter who did not let the illness put her down. May her soul rest in eternal peace and we from the Ghafla team send our condolences to her family and friends as they go through this trying time.

Avril Nyambura is one proud mum of a young baby boy and of course after pregnancy comes baby fat among other struggles that we women have to put up with.

Anyway, after welcoming her son back in 2018, the lady has been struggling to shed off her baby weight which is never too easy to cut and this where the filters/photoshop comes in handy for ladies.

Meet Zari Hassan’s handsome father!

Zari Hassan says her parents broke up when she was still very young and despite her dad abandoning them – the lady continues to hold him close to her heart after the many years.

So far Zari and her siblings only have one parent remaining following their mother’s death about a year ago following a short illness.

Not having a dad around might have done the ladies some good as they managed to grow strong back bones that might have contributed to their success in life. As we all know, Zari Hassan as so far proven to be her own person as she barely depends on any man in her life – apart from her boys.

Dudu baya banned from releasing new music by BASATA

Tanzanian singer Dudu Baya will no longer be releasing any new music as instructed by Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (BASATA; Swahili for National Arts Council.)

In a report seen by Ghafla, BASATA had asked Dudu Baya to visit their offices hoping to look into a vulgar video he shared on social media this past Sunday that left some of his fans feeling quite angry.

Apparently Dudu Baya’s biggest mistake was going against some of the online rules issued in Tanzania like using vulgar words and threats on social media – something that has now left him jobless.

“My aunt was treating me like a step child” Zari narrates about her life struggles before the fame and money

Zari’s life did not begin at the top. Just like most celebrities the mother of 5 struggled and went through some hard challenges before she and Ivan started making for themselves.

As seen on one of her posts shared on her Instagram page, Zari narrates how she was forced to work two jobs in order to cover her accommodations bills and food.

For the very first time, Zari reveals that she was forced to work as a house help and a cashier – and throughout this whole time things were not so okay.

In her post she adds that living with her aunt at that time was not so easy as she treated her like a step child since Zari had come from a humble family – and the person she was married to also happened to be a hustler.

But remembering that her mother back in Uganda was doing a tailoring job and barely made enough money to survive on – she had no option but to put up with everything that was thrown her way until she graduated.

Been through boutiques, long economy flights to china in between building a school and having babies. My music and tv career is a story for another day. Phew????
All I’m saying, consistency is key. Doesnt matter where you are or what you do. Just do it.

Friend, i started out early wasnt even sure why me. But the inner voice in me wanted better. My dad had left, my mom was doing tailor jobs day and night i couldnt stand seeing her struggle. I couldn’t stand her pain. I was living with my aunt in the uk who treated me like a step child. Gooosh????
Been through boutiques, long economy flights to china in between building a school and having babies. My music and tv career is a story for another day. Phew????
All I’m saying, consistency is key. Doesnt matter where you are or what you do. Just do it.

Prezzo is finally on the 4th floor and so far, he has no regrets but thankful for everything life has given him.

To celebrate the great milestone, Prezzo recently revealed that he will be throwing a lit birthday party that will see most of his celebrity friends attend.

Although he seems to have taken some time off releasing new music (or retired) the fella continues to wow his fans with his amazing and youthful style that will definitely not be fading anytime soon.

Willis Raburu defends his wife after critics call her out for ‘denouncing God’

The loss of a child is not an easy topic especially since it would take a parent to understand the pain it comes with.

Raburu’s wife recently gave birth to a still baby following some complications that are yet unknown to the public; but so far we understand that this has not been easy for her.

Through her Instagram page a few day’s ago she went on to cry out for having not been given a chance to bond with her baby adding statements that suggest God had forgotten her.

Everyone is so quick to tell me about God… What they don’t know is that every way I knew Him was tested and He didn’t prove Himself. So as they say you should know God for yourself, I now can say, I don’t know Him. And I don’t think I want to know him coz He left me when I needed him the most.

So far their are those who have called out Maryaprude for denouncing God and has even been asked to join an Atheist community since she saw how things turned out after so many prayers.

Ex couple Juliani and actress Brenda Wairimu host a lit birthday to celebrate their daughter’s 5th birthday

Rapper Juliani and his baby mama, actress Brenda Wairimu are proud parents of their daughter who turned 5 years on 8th January.

The two went on to shower their baby girl with praises on her birthday remembering the happy memories they have been sharing so far.

Singer Avril was not impressed with how Naiboi handled their beef which started back in 2018 after the mother of 1 refused to feature on his popular song dubbed 2 in 1.

From my understanding back in 2018 Avri Nyambura was heavy with her first child and since she wanted to keep this on the low – it’s obvious that she wouldn’t have featured on Naiboi’s project.

However if is no secret that Naiboi has been holding on this grudge for almost two years and if possible for more coming years as he swore not to ever work with Avril.

Well, through her Instagram page Avril went on to make things clear that she had no problem with no one whatsoever.
