Lang’ata MP Jalang’o has once again met up with president Ruto despite being called a betrayer by ODM party’s supporters the last time they met.
Despite the heavy denigratory statements against him, The MP said he is committed to ODM, and that his support for his Party leader, Raila Odinga, is unwavering.
He denied ODM Party’s claims that he and other lawmakers who visited President William Ruto at State House previously are betrayers.
Today, Jalang’o has once again met up with Ruto, calibrating the agenda for their meet-up. He took to his Instagram and wrote;
”Today the president was in Langata South C at LapFund affordable housing that will see 2500 houses built in the next 44 months. We have agreed to have our youths in south c to be employed at the site and our local artisans to be involved in making doors, windows and other fabrications. Hapa langata ni kazi tu! #UtuNaWatu”
After being criticized before, it’s imminent that Jalang’o will also be on the receiving end this time too, by Azimio supporters.
See what you will about singer an influencer Akothee, but the one thing you must say about her is that she is loyal to her friends. A close friend of hers, Lang’ata Member of Parliament, Jalang’o turned 40 and her dedication to him was quite touching.

Lang’ata MP Jalang’o is today celebrating his 40th birthday, and he has penned an encouraging message to self via Instagram.
”This far I thank God! Never believed or thought in my wildest dreams that we would be here where we are at 40! Life has shown me all but I know and I believe there is more! Let life begin! I have won , I have lost, I have laughed I have cried! I have learnt! I NEVER GAVE UP! Iam Forever indebted to the people, the community that has given me soo much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!” GOD GOT ME!

Jalas, who has done several jobs ever since his arrival in the City, has been an epitome of grass to grace over the years. From acting, to a radio presenter, and now to an MP. There’s definitely more in store for Jalas. Happy Birthday to him.
Kibe and Jalang’o have had a long-running feud and they finally came face-to-face yesterday on the former’s Instagram live where they addressed their enmity and the latter even asked how he had wronged him.
What is interesting is the fact the two had both previously worked with Kamene Goro with Kibe eventually turning against her and Jalas preferring to act as her older brother and would give her advice to try and stop her more destructive nature.

The two eventually laughed everything off and seemed to arrive at a detente though Kibe was more than willing to escalate things while Jalang’o seemed to realise he would lose face and opting to de-escalate.
Ida Odinga was in attendance at Akothee’s star-studded wedding and while there, she was asked to make a speech and greet the people in attendance. This is keeping in line with the Kenyan custom of giving the “biggest people” in the room the chance to acknowledge the host.
And while speaking about her relationship with Akothee, Ida Odinga decided to also acknowledge some other celebrities in attendance with whom she shares a political journey and they were Jalang’o and Jakakimba.
“I am so happy to see some of my best friends, and some of them were best friends until the elections. One of them is Jalang’o.”
Let’s drag up some old sentiments. Jalang’o has been accused by staunch ODM supporters, the guys who voted him into the seat as Lang’ata Member of Parliament of being a traitor after he went to the Statehouse to have a meeting with President William Ruto.
This is something that flew in the face of the very position his party and the coalition they are a part of stand for. And it runs the risk of making him a 1 term member of parliament just like Jaguar, yet another celebrity who became Starehe Constituency’s MP.

When he was taken to task for his reasons for visiting and eventually allying himself to the very opposite of his political party, risking his career for the same issue, and he defended his decision in a rather cheeky manner, mocking his party leader, Raila Odinga, the godfather of Kenyan politics by saying,
“I went to (President) Ruto for advice on how to win elections. You know the President has never ever lost in an election so there is a lot to learn from him because he always wins whether he does it by stealing or any other means. I am now picking useful tips with the aim of becoming the first person from my community to become the President of Kenya. One day you will remember me as that young man from Gem constituency who became the President of Kenya.”
And you wonder whether or not he has shot himself in the foot thinking after he gets bundled out of ODM, Kenya Kwanza or UDA will be willing to turn their back to Nixon Korir in favour of Jalang’o.
Jalang’o will be a one-term Mp if he is even allowed to see out the entirety of his term. Don’t take my word for it, just go through the comments he has received after he shared a post that featured him and President William Ruto.
His post had at least one celebrity trying to give things a positive twist and that was Akothee but she too got dogpiled on by the disgruntled ODM supporters who weren’t shy about telling both her and the Lang’ata MP precisely what they think.

Lang’ata Member of Parliament, Jalang’o, or as the government knows him, Felix Odiwuor has sealed his political fate and it looks like he will soon have to find a political home outside Azimio and ODM as the powers that be are now not shying away from calling him a traitor publicly.
In a recent post made by Raila Odinga, he accused certain “rebel ODM MPS” of being involved in a plot hatched by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to hire goons to interfere with the planned demonstrations.
‘The same crude weapons and forces” uniforms are being dispatched to upcountry locations in western and
Nyanza, where youths have been booked in hotels with instructions to target specific Azimio leaders.
A number of rebel Azimio MPs from these regions have been deployed in support of this dirty mission
especially in western Kenya and Nyanza.

The question everyone has had on their tongues for a while now is about to be answered: whether or not Jalang’o needs ODM to be the Lang’ata MP or if he can still retain his seat once the party expels him.
It is only a matter of time for that hypothetical situation to become the reality given the writing on the wall. And if he can indeed retain the seat is going to an uphill battle because the former Lang’ata MP, Nixon Korir is still UDA and Kenya Kwanza’s man of choice so he would most likely have to go about the election as an independent candidate.
Whatever the case may be, the die is cast and Jalang’o has sealed his political fate. I suspect that it won’t be long before he is either summonsed for a disciplinary hearing by ODM or outright kicked out of the party in which case he will find out whether he is bigger than the party to the Lang’ata electorate.
Whenever you think of event MCs, whether corporate or otherwise, three names stand out like 3 colossi: DNG, Jalang’o and Shaffie Weru were the names you almost always expected to come across.
The three have since moved on to a new chapter in their careers whether voluntarily or otherwise and their absence is dearly felt because of how good they were at what they did.

Two of them left voluntarily to pursue their political ambitions. DNG is now an MCA after successfully competing on a Kenya Kwanza ticket to win the Woodly/ Kenyatta Golf Course seat.
Jalang’o’s battle was less clear cut as he first had to fight the rank and file within the coalition of his choice; Azimio to get the ODM ticket after it was denied to him because he was an untested upstart whose loyalties were in doubt.
Shaffie’s departure wasn’t done voluntarily. He was kicked out of Homeboyz and radio Africa Group where he had worked for over 15 years because the feminists that populated the companies that were customers of his employers were baying for his blood.
Shaffie Weru had made an off-colour joke on the radio about a woman who had been tossed off a balcony after a date gone wrong. She survived but the feminists saw an opportunity to make a statement and they went in for their fill of blood.

His career was ruined and so he had to find his feet in the business. That has subsumed his focus and he has since stopped MCing events.
The three have left a void that is difficult to fill. DR Ofweneke is doing his bit as is Oga Obinna but beyond that, the market is pretty much fair game. And you can tell from the dearth of talent just how tall an order this is.
Jalang’o seems to be hellbent on killing his fledgling political career with his insistence on being the contrarian “voice of reason” even though absolutely no one asked for that option on the menu.
Jalas has come out to tell Raila Odinga to come up with a strategy for 2027 even if it means he steps down and appoints someone else to vie in his stead. And while this sounds like a reasonable thing to say, if you understand Kenyan politics, you will understand why it is quite the opposite.

Raila is the force within Kenyan politics that has been a constant. He is the force that amalgamated the opposition. His charisma and deal-making acumen has seen him be a king maker aswell as a destroyer of legacies.
Jalang’o fought to be a member of ODM and for the nomination to the Lang’ata parliamentary race. If he wanted to be a rebel, he should have gone it alone the entirety of his career.

He is now seen as a traitor within the camp because it is well known that he wouldn’t have won the seat had he not received the backing of ODM’s grassroots support in Lang’ata.
Jalang’o continues to commit slow and painful political suicide and he is now a liability to his own business partners in ODM strongholds as earlier in the week an entertainment establishment was razed simply for being associated with the former comedian, radio personality and now politician.
Jalang’o is feeling the flinch of meeting UDA’s leader William Ruto after he received heavy denigratory statements from Azimio supporters for being a ‘traitor’.
Jalang’o met with Ruto a day ago for a meeting which he termed as a development strategy for Langata residents.
Jalang’o, who was elected on Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition together with Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Shakeel Shabir (Kisumu East, Independent), Paul Abuor (Rongo), John Owino (Awendo) and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda met with the President amid the resistance movement.
Jalang’o maintained that it was un-necessary to cause drama over the whole issue as he only supported ‘baba’ rather than Ruto.
He further stated that the people of Lang’ata don’t care who is the President of the Republic but want development in the constituency.
“It’s the people of Lang’ata who will judge me at the end of the day, politics now withstanding,” he said.
But Raila was disenchanted with Jalang’os move and termed it as obnoxious & peculiar. According to him, he should have consulted before making the move.
Either way, Jalas maintained he would not leave the party despite everything that happened. His love for ‘baba’ remains.
Langata Member of Parliament Jalang’o has found himself in hot soup with a section of netizens after he attended a meeting with President William Ruto-reportedly without informing Raila Odinga.
Jalang’o was among nine opposition MPs who met President Ruto, sparking uproar from their fellow party members.
Most netizens have termed the act as ‘betrayal’ and it has caused a massive uproar. Jalango’s response has been roped in as the matter has angered Azimio supporters.
In his defence, Jalang’o claimed he would still attend the meeting even if Raila didn’t give him permission; adding that people of Lang’ata are only interested in development rather than political shenanigans.
“I did not have a reason to call him (Raila) or ask because he had already given us a key to work,” Jalang’o said, adding that “the people of Lang’ata don’t care who is president and who is not. What they care about is the delivery of the mandate they gave me.”
Jalang’o continued to claim that the meeting was purely for discussing strategies of developing Langata. Jalang’o is now among the trending topics on twitter. Of course some have supported his move; while others maintain that he’s a traitor. Below are a few of the reactions from twitter;

Once trust is broken, it can never be fixed
Okay, although many people feel that Jalango should give Eli and his family a second chance – they should also try to understand Jalango who suffered betrayal from the two people he had kept close and despite being workers – treated them more like his brothers or maybe cousins.

Well lets hope Jalango comes through for the kids…but its obvious that he does not want anything to do with his ex workers.
With the general elections drawing closer everyday so are new politicians facing a hard time especially those with not so clean backgrounds. Well there have been cases of bought or forged degrees from the new comers but nothing beats a baby mama story on a politician.

Politics a dirty game?
It’s actually unclear as to why the said influencer chose to share this information with just a few more weeks to the pole – but all I know is that politics is one funny game and the hahah part is that a 3 year old is getting dragged into this mess.
Anyway – if you think it’s just about the baby, then you’re wrong. According to Benji Ndolo – Jalango is also apparently a very abusive and uncaring man power thirsty man.
The daughter is 3 years and just suffering. Jalango supports sometimes but sometimes does not. He is very abusive and uncaring. I used to think he was a good dude. But he is power thirsty eager to transition from blow clown to honorable.

This is after they were smoked out of hiding by the police and now that they’ve been found – the two have started opening up on why; and what led them to steal from a boss.

Well this heist however turned out to be Eli Omundu’s biggest regret that is judging from the new information he shared with Ankali Ray on Milele FM. From what he says is that the heist story is a lie and never did he steal from his boss. He went on to justify this by claiming he’s been broke for the longest time and never has he ever thought of stealing from Jalang’o.

When asked how they spent the money – now that they claim to be broke, Eli distanced himself from the heist leaving his partner in crime Morrison looking like the mastermind behind the robbery. He said;

Is it just me or is this whole heist story starting to feel like we’re being played? Think about it this way – if you stole from your boss and get caught wouldn’t you be pleading your case; and asking for forgiveness none stop?
Well in Eli and Morrison’s case – they hope to sit down and have some Black Label with their former boss as they sort this issues out. Yes I said Black label….lanes.

Word making rounds is that chances are that Jalang’o and his workers came up with a plan/skit where he would accuse them of robbing him and disappearing – a strategy that would help win sympathy votes now that elections are around the corner.
For some reason – netizens did not want to believe that Jalang’o would leave a huge amount i.e millions in his car – and still entrust the same vehicles to his two workers. From what most netizens say is that paranoia would never allow them to ever trust a person that much….like come on, we’re talking about millions of shillings here.
Anyway speaking to Mungai eve in recent interview, Jalang’o came out clean distancing himself from the clout chasing stunt. In his voice, you can hear the bitterness he still holds inside after being betrayed by the two people he had trusted with his home and even drunk with once in a while in his backyard.

Through the interview, we also learnt that Eli Omundu and Morrison Litiema already reached out fans are in contact with both him and the police.

Although Jalang’o says he is yet to come into terms with such betrayal – truth is, there is no way he would rehire these two. Not just because once bitten twice shy but because they’ve proven themselves in broad daylight.
As of now, we’re hoping the police and the politician will share more details about the two and since they’re in Bungoma…chances are that the DCI are already tracking them too.

According to Jalango, he had assigned the two to wash one of his cars forgetting he had left a huge amount of cash in the particular car they were to clean. With this, the two saw an opportunity to make away with the money leaving the former Kiss FM asking his followers and other netizens to help him locate them.

Friend reveals Eli and Morrison stole Ksh2.5 Million
Although the media personality withheld from revealing how much was stolen (probably for his ex workers safety) a close friend of his, Billy Miya has come out to reveal the two employees apparently got away with KSh 2.5 million.

Well, it’s been three days now since the police started hunting them down and so far – Eli and Morrison remain in the wind.
What’s more surprising is that the two had earlier spoken to Mungai Eve saying they’d never steal from their boss.

Someone once told me not to trust anybody. Like honestly, trust is something earned and not given out freely no matter how long you’ve known a person. Well, this is something I’m pretty sure Jalango knew before entrusting his workers with access to his car this past weekend.

I mean, if Jalango is voted in – the first people I am sure he will take care of is those around him. Maybe Eli’s and Morrisons’s kids would have had no issues with school fees, there wives offered jobs or a given money for a small businesses…relatives given job opportunities- no matter how small, right? Just a few hours ago Kiss FM’s radio host Jalang’o confirmed that Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy are actually pregnant with their first child.
Judging from how he casually announced the news makes one feel that he (Jalang’o) had no bad intentions; but unfortunately it may have angered Arrow Bwoy to have his business out in the public without his consent.

Anyway this is however not the first time Jalang’o is exposing a celebrity for hiding their pregnancy. About 2 years ago, he went on to out Size 8’s pregnancy during an interview on Milele FM where he said;

Kiss FM Radio presenter Jalang’o is eyeing Langata MP in next year’s general election. His decision to vie for the political seat was expedited by his dream to change the political game.
The comedian expressed optimism in winning the seat, promising major changes in the constituency. To make this possible, he appealed to the youths to join him in changing and making Lang’ata great again.
“I am going to be the next MP of Langata. Youths change your votes. Come and vote for us to build a new Langata. I am campaigning for myself. I am very serious, I am the next MP of Langata. Mark this day.”
Additionally, Jalang’o based his political ambition on his previous achievements of helping others grow. The likes of Omosh, Mtumba man, Harun, among others. He continued to state that he will be leaving radio on 9th February 2022 to genesis his political ambition.

In addition to being in the political scene, Jalang’o states that he will be changing his official names, from Felix Odiwuor to Jalang’o Jalang’o. Speaking on SPM Buzz, he disclosed;
”… By next month ivi, ID yangu, vyeti vyangu vyote zitakuwa zinaita jina mbili, Jalang’o Jalang’o, kama Miguna Miguna.”
He continued to explain further why he made the decision;
”… Sitaki watu waingie kwenye polling pale wanashangaa Felix ni nani. Maanake wengi hawanijui majina yangu rasmi. Sasa nimefanya ile deed poll na tayari sasa itakuwa ni Jalang’o Jalang’o. Kila kitu inaenda kuwa Jalang’o Jalang’o…”
So just a few days ago Jalang’o met up Mtumba man aka Sande Mayua for an exciting interview; which gave fans the opportunity to get to know the popular guy selling women thrift clothes back in Kisumu.

However turns out that the likes of Andrew Kibe and a few others were not impressed with the interview; as they claim, Mtumba man is a cross dresser who shouldn’t be looked up to by any one as he promotes a gay character.

Just to paint a clearer picture for Andrew Kibe; (who acts like a snob) Jalang’o gave example of international cross dressers who have made it big in the entertainment industry. The Kiss FM radio host wrote;

Tyler perry, cedric the entertainer, Martin Lawrence and many more bro are they Lambistic or its the hustle! Yes I hear you but hustle lazima iendelee! As we speak sahii mtumba guy just got life changing deals that will see him move a step from poverty!
Lastly, Jalango who understand what poverty means; took a swipe at Kibe’s soft life saying;
Nadhani wewe hujawahi sota vizuri! Siku utasota poa ,wich I hope you dont , wewe utavaa hata dera! Lambistic!!
But come to think about it, why is Andrew Kibe so bitter about everything?
‘Ogopa Kanairo’ is a popular slang used by netizens in matters regarding all the mischiefs that happen in the city. One of the most popular mischiefs that defines the slang is relationships; which rarely last. Radio presenter and comedian Jalang’o is in agreement with this sentiment; and states that it’s hard for Nairobi men to keep up with a relationship. Why?
Well, according to Jalas, men are always held up with more responsibilities than just relationships. While speaking on Kiss Fm alongside Kamene Goro, the two presenters reiterated that it’s very hard for men to focus on relationships since they are occupied with very many things; including financial restraints that they have to deal with.
Jalang’o stated that Nairobi men always wake up to numerous responsibilities; which prevaricate their attention from keeping relationships.
”A typical Nairobi man is already thinking of the end of the month. Apa katikati kuna stress mbaya. Utakula nini? Utafika tao namna gani? Utatumia mathe nini? Utalala wapi? Yaani, each and every day, already you’re dating somebody stressed. You’re already in a relationship with a stressed man. Let’s just be honest. So what only helps a Nairobi man is either ameingia kwa Bwana, deep into God, ama ni mlevi chakari… So, you are not in the priority. If a Nairobi man lists his priority, relationship comes number 5 uko…”
Kamene continued to support Jalang’o saying that women should stick to meeting such men in the bar only; without necessarily seeking for a relationship… Or else it’ll end in premium tears.

For the past few days blogger Obare has been on a roll exposing filthy wealthy young men in Nairobi; who have for years been giving women sleepless nights and fellow the pressure to make it in life.
Most of the named rich guys are actually 40 years and below; but looking at the kind of money they parade on social media; you’d wonder what kind of jobs they have to earn millions in hours hence their lifestyles.

Anyway with him being boys with the rich gang boys, Jalang’o has come out to clear his name from the alleged scamming business. Speaking during the Kiss FM’s minting show – Jalango explained himself to Kamene saying;
If I was doing this thing called wash wash, I would never be waking up to come here. I would never ever be waking up here.
According to Jalango most of the claims made by the blogger were assumptions; and tricks of how they wanted to involve him with these named guys simply because he hangs out with them. He said;
I read. Tried to see how they’re trying to fix me in these stories . How I have taken photos with everybody who’s being accused. How I’m the one being used to keep the money. I’m like eeeh. Aaah nikasema it’s okay.
Radio presenter and comedian Jalang’o has once again found himself at loggerheads with ‘tea master’ Edgar Obare after the recent exposé on a couple of celebrities; who have allegedly been milking huge amounts of cash through unscrupulous means.

From fake notes, to gold scams; the name may seem peculiar to most, but it’s simply a mind-game business, where subtle means are used to enrich people with a good ‘connection’.
The scandal has involved several immigration officials, media personalities and police officers and flamboyant businessmen and bank officials.
Those involved are alleged to be living a sumptuous lifestyle; hanging out with flamboyant women in picturesque areas.

We all know that Jalang’o is among the wealthiest radio presenters; just from his sleek rides and numerous endorsements. His richness has however been questioned after he found himself in the middle of the scandal. According to Edgar, Jalang’o is also part of the crew involved in the multi-million wash wash business.

But Jalang’o is taking none of this. Speaking on Kiss FM, Jalang’o strongly denied involvement in it. He goes ahead to explain his sources of income.
”For the first time in my life, I had somebody questioning what I do. If you really follow me and know what I do, even the person writing about me as a fraud knows that they are lying…
As we speak today, I think I’m a brand ambassador to almost five top brands… To make it even crazier, per week I do like 3 to 4 events; club appearances and all, which are paying very well…You can accuse me of anything else, but not my integrity and what I do for a living…”
Jalang’o continued to reiterate that he really works hard for his money and doesn’t deserve to be involved in such a scandal.
