Taxi driver filmed beating up a cop is finally arrested

A video of a taxi driver battling with a police office in a cab made headlines on Thursday after emerging on social media.

The video however did not reveal as to why the taxi driver opted to fight with a law enforcement officer and now word has it that he has been arrested.

The driver identified as 41-year-old David Kariuki Kamurwa was arrested at Gikambura in Kikuyu area on Thursday, 25th July by Karen Police officers who had issued his arrest warrant.

A police report released by Karen police station stated;

“Officers from DCI Karen managed to recover the motor vehicle registration No. KCT 730Q make Nissan March at Gikambura within kikuyu area.”

Mr David Kariuki will however be arraigned in court today for robbery with violence after they recovered a phone belonging to police officer, Vincent Muhia who he had fought in his car.

Gospel singer Weezdom has bowed down and asked his former boss to forgive him through his Instagram page.

This comes 2 years after Weezdom publicly quit working under Bahati as he claimed that Diana Marua was too controlling.

This move however saw his friendship with the mama hit maker slowly fade away but now Weezdom says he was at fault and hopes Bahati will forgive him.

According to Weezdom, things have not been quite well for him, Mr Seed and  David Wonder.

Gospel singer and preacher Size 8 seems to have already come across a story claiming her husband DJ Mo fathered twins with another woman.

This is after a certain lady by the name of Carol Nduta went on to hint that her baby daddy has been neglecting his daughters; however what caught many peoples attention is the striking resemblance the twins shared with Ladasha.

Lilian Muli’s second born son Liam finally 1 year this past weekend and to mark this special event, his parents threw him a lit birthday party!

Diamond Platnumz says he is lucky to have had his ‘playing’ days and still managed to walk away with no STI.

The Bongo singer revealed this while speaking with students at Musoma Utalii College in Tabora; now that he is an advocate for safe sex in a campaign between Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) and Tume ya Kudhibiti Ukimwi Tanzania (TACAIDS).

The singer goes on to admit that he has been reckless with the ladies but is one of the very few to have walked away without any STI or HIV. He went on to say;

“If I must be honest I played around. I played a lot but was lucky enough to escape without any consequences.”

Zari Hassan recently shocked many after exposing a few details about her former relationship with Diamond Platnumz.

Apparently after calling off their relationship, seems that Diamond Platnumz took it too personal that he started avoiding his kids.

From the interview we understand that the Bongo star last saw his children in October when he passed by Pretoria, South Africa after a show in Namibia.

This comes 7 months after she suffered a miscarriage that saw her battle with her faith in God as revealed in a post shared a while back. She wrote saying;

Rumours were in many blogs that I was pregnant but I never did really confirm it cause it was a battle all the way so I just wanted to go with the fight privately. To be honest I ve cried Ive asked God so many questions I have given my husband stress He is trying to make me be okay, I was so angry…..my faith in God has been greatly tested……. The former gospel artist left many with mixed reactions after parading what is believed to be a Ruger SR22 pistol. Apparently the gun is popularly known for its sleek features and is quite a favorite to many gun private owners.

Well, having made a successful music career the Bongo star seems to have also helped his family invest in different businesses in order to support themselves.

So far we understand his sister Esma runs a clothing and cosmetic shop which gets a lot of support from Diamond Platnumz fans.

Nahreel and Aika recently welcomed another baby boy, Jamaika and seems that he looks no different from his big brother Gold.

The couple who are quite open about their family have also gone ahead and unveiled baby  Jamaika’s adorable face.

Well apart from getting his skin tone fro his mummy, Jamaika looks like Gold’s twin – but just younger.

The Tanzanian duo are currently raising their kids with the 2 under 2 method and from the look of things they seem to be doing quite a good job.

Vanessa Mdee struggling to have kids?

Vanessa Mdee who is one of the closest friends   to the Kenzo’ was allegedly dumped by Juma Juxx after failing to give him kids.

The singer however refuted the rumors in her recent live session where she set a few things straight.

Anyway, the ex couple has a tendency of an on and off type of relationship and this could be one of their many breaks we are yet to witness.

It is no longer a secret that Fena Gitu is  member and big supporter of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) community.

Yesterday afternoon she went ahead to post a photo of her ‘girlfriend’ on social media wishing her a happy birthday and judging from her caption, seems that the two ladies are quite close.

However some of Fena’s fans couldn’t hold back from bashing her for being a lesbian. Going through the comments it’s easy to notice how most criticized her for trying to act like a man in a female body!

Githeri Man spotted dead drunk a few months after leaving rehab

Martin Kamotho aka ‘Githeri Man’ became famous after he was photographed enjoying his ‘Githeri’ while queuing to vote back in 2017.

The unique photo opened doors of opportunity for him as he managed to get sponsored by big brands like Safaricom in the country.

However, what many didn’t know is that Githeri man had been struggling with alcoholism. During an interview done a while back, Kamotho says he started drinking back in 1989 and had been unable to stop.

President Uhuru steps in

Luckily President Uhuru Kenyatta instructed Kiambu Woman Rep Gathoni Wamuchomba to find Kamotho and ensure that he got some help.

Githeri man was then taken to Mama Care Recovery Centre where he was receiving his treatment. When asked about his plan, he went on to say;

“I am very grateful to the President for helping me to deal with alcoholism. I promise not to let him down. I have come here to change. I will go home a changed man. I don’t want to be a slave of alcohol. I want to be a new being and go back to my job.”

Seems that Githeri man is back to his old habits judging from the new photos making rounds on social media.

The guy is seen dead drunk on a trolley confirming that indeed everything is not well. Alcoholism is not a laughing matter and if anything it is now evident that Martin Kamotho is really struggling despite his efforts to change.

Vanessa Mdee responds after she was accused of snatching Elizabeth Micheal’s husband!

Vanessa Mdee has brushed off rumors linking her to Majizzo who happens to be engaged to Lulu Micheal.

This is after she was spotted on several occasions in the company of the fella thus sparking rumors that they were secretly involved.

However, turns out that Vanessa and Majizzo are just good friends and business partners since they happen to be in the same line of business.

Speaking during a live session with her Instagram family, Vanessa opened up saying;

“Kabisa yule ni kakangu ni mtu na mheshimu tunafanya biashara pamoja ni mtu ambaye ni mdau wa music and we love that girl we love Lulu and that’s her husband. What are you all talking about?!”

When asked about her exes new girlfriend, Ms Mdee revealed that she had no idea who the lady was nor did it bother her.

Vanessa Mdee went on to add that they have been apart for 9 months now and just like everyone else, she found out about her exe’s new lady via Instagram.
