Kenya has indeed suffered a great loss after Safaricom’s CEO Bob Collymore lost his fight against cancer on 1st July.
The news which was announced by Safaricom’s chairman Nicholas Ng’ang’a took many by surprise however those that knew him well decided to celebrate the great legacy he had left behind!
Among them is comedian cum radio presenter Jalang’o who narrated how Bob Collymore helped him in the past.
Apparently Jalang’o got his first green suit from the late Bob Collymore who felt that the comedian needed a custom that made him stand out when hosting events.

He now proudly rocks his customs in confidence and made the green suit his signature look seeing how much people love it.

I actually asked him what if I was to host any other event whose colour is not green? “Just tell them it’s your look. Safaricom chairman Nicholas Ng’ang’a earlier Monday morning announced the death of of his boss Bob Collymore that occurred at his home.
From the detailed post shared on Safaricom’s twitter page, we understand that Bob Collymore succumbed to cancer.
Before his death, Bob Collymore had been receiving treatment from some of the best hospitals in the country; in 2017 Collymore had taken a short medical leave to fight off the cancer in his body.

In the statement, Safaricom Chairman Nicholas Ng’ang’a opened up saying;
“He has been undergoing treatment for his condition since then in different hospitals and most recently at Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi. In recent weeks, his condition worsened and the succumbed to the cancer at his home in the early hours of Monday.”

Bishop Godfrey Migwi has revealed that he will no longer be part of Kameme FM after resigning from his job.
The pastor who was a co-host with man Nyari and Kamlesh in the Wednesday day night show ‘Kwenjera Uma Wa Mandiko announced his exit through his Facebook page.
Despite this being a hard decision for him, close sources to the pastor say it had to be done. Apparently Migwi landed in trouble with his bosses after sharing a video questioning the president’s development record in Central Kenya.
This was however not the first time as he had earlier warned President Kenyatta to work on his anger issues just days after lashing at Mount Kenya leaders.
